Please read this
I bought a few of these duck houses as a bed for my ducks a INSIDE their coop. This house would NOT stand up well as a predator house alone. It is not sturdy enough to keep out a predator. It is very flimsy. This being said, it is a great duck house to put INSIDE a giant enclosure and keep the door open as a straw bed for warmth! But please, do NOT get this if your using it alone as a free standing house. It would not be safe!!!

Worth the parts.
Materials/construction are not robust. Other reviews indicate that bits fall off, etc. and there is truth in that. But it would be difficult to purchase the materials and hardware, cut them to size and assemble them into the pieces that come in the box for less than the cost of the item. If you have some basic skills, decent wood glue and a few spare screws laying around (we put 4 additional screws into the carriers in the bottom that the tray slides in) it is worth the price. It was recently assembled and is sitting next to a pond on a sibling's farm so too soon to say on easy to clean or durability in the elements. But the ducks did go right to it.

Poorly made, not worth the hassle
I should have read reviews of this before I bought it, because I wouldn't have bought it. The pre-built sides were poorly put together and after a week of use, it fell apart at the seams. We couldn't even repair the wall that fell apart.

great duck house!!!!!
This duck house had to fit 2 pekins and mallard.it took like 2 seconds to set up and is still going after a year of use it is not very weather proof but with a heat lamp they where fine. It is a little expensive but overall a great coop .And last is the shipping was rough and several boards came in rough shape and some where cracked but it not really effect the coop.

Otherwise the little house is fine for my ducks
Inside the lid only one side (the right) was prepped proper for the hinge insert, we had to makeshift our on for the second hinge (the left). The top was covered in a type of thin green shingle material however, there was one corner (and a few other areas along the edge) that was not covered at all and had to be caulked to cover any possible water damage which would result when it rained. Did express this before and a rep from the company called and left a message. I have not spoke to anyone there as yet. These are the things that need attention prior to shipping out to a customer. Otherwise the little house is fine for my ducks.

Great for the price
It's not as sturdy as we'd like, but it's really not bad at all. I love that it has a tray in the bottom which will make for easy cleaning and the top opens. The venting looks good which is important for ducks. Overall looks good and was quick and easy to put together. Hopefully it holds up to weather and such.

NOT WEATHERPROOF
Bc this will need to be cleaned out frequently, it’s not ideal for chickens or ducks bc the wood does not stand up to water weather. We still use it but now on the covered patio for our cats

Cheap soft wood
Good design, good looking, but very cheaply made. Falling apart after one month. No place to put water for ducks to drink at night. Tin bottom is falling out and several of the wood joints are cracked. Afraid that a strong wind will blow it over. Save your money and build one yourself.
