Used as a chick brooder box
I did not use this for rabbits, I used it for the first couple of weeks with my six chicks. It worked great, the side access and top access were very useful and the tray was really easy to clean, big bonus. They're still using it to sleep in, but I needed to expand their space so now there's a wood structure attached to the cage and it's all together as one big run/cage henhouse. They all go into the cage at night and I close the door, just like they will in their hen house when they're ready to move out there. Overall was a good choice for this purpose. We have our chicks in the house but I would definitely line at least the lower half with cardboard or plastic on the outside to help with drafts.

FAST delivery! Nice cages overall for price!
Cages were delivered for free very fast! Just what I needed! Both cages have dings however. Latch is bent on one, (black clip doesn’t keep cage closed very securely due to being bent.) wire is stretched, bottoms are both bent.. I managed to get the wire adjusted (very hard to move this wire into correct place for it to fit. Lol!) Minor issues which are easily fixable but just a bit nagging at my mind. Well worth the price and will likely buy again. Easy to put up I had them out of the box and both set up in 10 minutes- you don’t even need to read the instructions. I wish you made larger cages!! Returned customer.. and I plan to buy more in the future.

Really like this cage from setup to the tray
I had bought this cage from somewhere else. I was so impressed with it that I wanted more and started shopping around for a better price. By far this is the lowest price I could find and well worth the money. The size is nice which gives my bunnies room to move around in. I do have bigger outside cages which are great but this one works well for me for when I want to bring the bunny inside. The tray is easy to remove, clean and put back. The cage is very easy to move around from one place to another. If you are transporting a rabbit this is a good cage for travel. The setup was very easy as well as the break down if you have to break it down. I do use a plastic mat that has holes in it that hooks and fits nicely inside this cage so the rabbit can get off the wire. I will add a picture so you can see what I mean. The mat makes it so the rabbit waste can still get to the bottom and clean up is a breeze. The only thing I didn’t like about this cage is for those raising rabbits the holes are so big that a kit (baby bunny) can get through the wire. I raise rabbits and this cage is the perfect size for a nesting box with room left over for the mother to still be able to lie down and stretch out. I did add some rabbit wire that is smaller around the bottom side of the cage so the babies can’t get out so this was an easy fix for me. I do not like my expected mothers to be outside and this cage can be taken outside or inside. My husband built a roof support that the cage fits under nicely and it is easy to pull the cage out to take inside. I would have liked this cage better if the end had a door but it really isn’t a big deal I just have to make the place outside longer to place the cage long ways for the side door to face me. My rabbits are for breeding the tray is great but you will want to put some kind of potty pad under it unless your rabbits are litter trained to catch the waste if the rabbit decides to use the pen other than where you place the urine guard. It would have been nice to have that guard all the way around the cage but if you are using it outside that isn’t an issue. If you are using inside I just use woven people pads under the cage which is big enough for the cage with pad left over to catch the urine where the cage is opened without a guard. The bottom line this is a great price, great for travel, it can be used in or outside with a roof frame built on. It is roomy with enough room for most rabbits to be able to stretch out in. I do not believe it is big enough to use a litter box but you can give it a try. I do know it is big enough for a homemade nesting box with enough room for mother as well. It isn’t big enough for mother and a litter once the kits get bigger. The tray is easy to remove and clean. I really like the way this is built. It is an easy setup and take down.

I love the fact that the cage was bigger than I expected yet not too bug. Its a little heavy put I think it is the perfect size for a house bunny to sleep in or be caged for short period of time.

NOT BAD AS WHAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE SAYING
A LOT OF PEOPLE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE URINE/POOP TRAY NOT HOLDING THE DROPPINGS, SIMPLE FIX= CHANGE IT MORE OFTEN!! I'VE NOT HAD A SINGLE ISSUE WITH MINE, WE PUT THE BEDDING IN THE BOTTOM (OTHER PEOPLE MAY NOT BE DOING THIS) BUT THAT'S ALSO A SIMPLE FIX. IF SOMETHING ISN'T WORKING, SEE IF THERE IS ANYTHING YOU CAN DO TO FIX IT BEFORE SENDING OUT A BAD REVIEW. I HAVEN'T ENCOUNTERED ANY SHARP EDGES SO THIS CONFUSES ME SLIGHTLY. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS HARD WAS PUTTING THE SITTING TRAY IN THERE, BUT I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY THIS WOULD BE HARD, TO MAKE SURE IT IS STURDY. CLIPPED RIGHT ON TO THE SIDES. I ANCHORED HIS FOOD AND WATER BOWLS TO THE SIDE SO HE DOES NOT TIP THEM OVER WHEN HE GETS BORED. I JUST POKED HOLES IN HIS PLASTIC BOWLS AND USED BREAD TIES TO SECURE IT TO THE BARS. WORKS LIKE A CHARM. THIS WAS ULTIMATELY THE BEST RABBIT CAGE I COULD FIND FOR THE PRICE, WASN'T LOOKING FOR ANYTHING TOO FANCY AND WE DON'T HAVE A LOT OF ROOM FOR A TWO OR THREE STORY CAGE. MY DIDDLE IS REALLY HAPPY WITH HIS NEW HOME!!

Easy interim option.
These Midwest rabbit cages work really well for either young newly weaned rabbits or one rabbit as it grows out to maturity age. There are better options from local businesses that are cheaper, bigger, and more sturdily made, but if you’re in a spot and need immediate cage space these work in a pinch. While these go together easily enough, it isn’t very easy to slide the tray out for cleaning, and some of the floor hooks were bent and needed to be fixed so that the floor would fit correctly. These are sturdy enough for young rabbits but I wouldn’t trust them to keep my active buck contained.

They’re okay but...
I got these for a great price ($40 each) and I wouldn’t want to pay any more than that. I secured the sides with zip ties to ensure that he cage is safe. The smaller size is not suitable for any full grown rabbit. It is no where near large enough. I breed rabbits so the cages are used for young rabbits for short periods of time (for separating young babies from mom/each other before they go to new homes). This is the only purpose I would recommend them for... just for a young rabbit that can gets lots of outside time until you can get a cage that is suitable for them to be in as an adult. They are fine for my use but really don’t recommend for a pet rabbit. *Edit* I bought and received the larger size. Bought them for $70 plus tax each. If they go on sale for the same price again, I would buy more. The tray on these is deeper which is great and it is a much better size. Two of these cages were bent, making it difficult to properly assemble. The door latches are extremely tight, even after a week or two of use, still hard to open. Although I like the cages, the quality really isn’t the best. I would recommend that the company keep an eye on the door latches and bent sides. I would also highly recommend to make the cages wider... they do not need to be as tall as they are for rabbits, take a few inches off of the height and add to the width, which is necessary for rabbits. I would also highly recommend changing the urine guards... I now have 6 of them and every single one is completely useless. The clips are garbage so I tried using zip ties. Still doesn’t work properly. Cages aren’t without flaws, but I hope that the company will consider making a few small changes in the future. I like the free, quick shipping and the fact that they do have a wire bottom.

Me encanto... recientemente adopte una conejita belier... y considere que necesitaba una jaula más grande para que pudieran comer y hacer sus necesidades.... esta jaula fue ideal... me encanta... tiene una bandeja para poner el sustrato... y así sus patitas no se humedecen porque su pipí cae entre las rejillas la recomiendo 100%

Very easy to assemble
It’s super practical and easy to assemble. I have a New Zealand rabbit and it’s only big enough for her litter box(those cat litter box from dolarama) and for her to lay beside it. I use it when I travel with her since it’s so easy to set up. I let her out when I’m In the room and lock her up at night or when I’m out. I wouldn’t buy this as her permanent home. It is too small for a rabbit to live, that would be just sad. But as a temporary home it’s very practical.

they're the perfect size for my single-caged rabbits
Bought two of these, they're the perfect size for my single-caged rabbits. Wouldn't recommend for a large breed or a doe with kits, but great for single medium breeds or a couple of dwarfs. I don't recommend trying to fit a litter box in there, the whole point of the wire floor over the tray is to eliminate the need for one. Well-constructed, door clips are a little weird but still secure. My rabbits love not having to use a litter box or sit in dirty shavings, I love the simplicity of just taking out the tray to clean. Only criticisms are that the tray could be deeper, and that the urine guard is kind of useless. It doesn't attach well, it doesn't work properly if you're using the wire floor, and it has somewhat sharp edges. Within a day my male was tossing it around the cage so I just removed them.
