I debated for a while if I should order this because of the price, but I am glad I gave it a try.
This is a well made Rosle product that I am glad I have added to my kitchen collection. I am planning to use it for salads, to drain pasta, and to dry fruits and berries. The turn handle makes the insert spin effortlessly. I noticed that my salad was nice and crisp with minimal water left over after spinning it.

Well made mechanism and bowl
Bowl is definitely “weighted” at the bottom and it’s almost perfect but the rim could be finished a little better to have a better feel since the bowl is so nice feeling otherwise but that’s just trying to find a flaw. The rubber seals feel quality and well thought out. The top comes apart easily to clean completely. The mechanism feels very smooth positive and solid while spinning, spun it fast as I can and it’s buttery smooth. I had romaine that I ripped apart and rinsed and sat in this for little over 2 weeks and it was just as fresh as when I bought it, for real. It works great to improve a salad especially if ur making it ahead of time, just give it a spin and it freshens right up to a nice crisp. Real review, I’m just a business owner/ boat mechanic that’s very hard on engineers and products R&D. I hate buying something that feels like the company never took the time to use it or let alone take the time to redesign it. ❤️????✌️???????? DGT

Could be great, but held back by adding an unnecssary step
I like the crank mechanism and that was one thing I was looking for in a salad spinner instead of the press-to-spin style. It spins well with both a substantial top and bowl that interlock well. The reason I can't recommend this one is instead of the bowl having a point for the basket to spin on there is a separate plastic disc that sits in the bowl for that. So, after spinning when I want to quickly drain the water from the bowl I need a third hand: one for the basket, one for the bowl, and one for the plastic thing. That may be a trivial thing to work around by putting down the basket to fish out the plastic disc from the bowl, but with a slightly better design it's an unnecessary step and a work around not needed by far cheaper spinners.

This is Quality and it really works
After having to purchase many spinners, since they tend to break, I finally got smart and purchased this "Salad Spinner" and I couldn't be happier. It does everything I expected it to accomplish. A super big surprise is the Salad stays fresh for days. Dishwasher safe & it's a Quality Rosle product so you know it will last a lifetime! I Highly Recommend this unbreakable Rosle Salad Spinner! You will not be disappointed

Best Salad Spinner I've Used!
I have gone through 3 salad spinners in the last 8 years. One was a pretty cheap one from a grocery store, the other 2 were pretty good brands. All of which were made of 100% Plastic. 2 had broken with cracks by force simply by trying to get it to spin faster... maybe I'm expecting too much speed from those. This salad spinner is beatiful! The metal bowl is heavy! The crank handle is very smooth during operation and it spins very fast! Other spinners I've used tend to shake and get really loud and make snapping sounds when you try to over spin it. (Oops!) this spinner is so smooth you don't have an urge to try to spin the crap out of it. It works so smoothly and spins so fast i don't have to try to over spin! Ive used it only once on some spinach i needed to clean since my last one got recycled and i needed to get it washed before it got slimy. The spinach was nice and dry! The lid is very nice and sturdy. I love that i can take it apart for cleaning! I dont care about the higher price point. You do get what you pay for and i feel i got my money's worth! Very excited to use this spinner in the future.... I must add that I do NOT like cleaning greens. I find it tedious... and this makes it pleasant! Love it!! I must add that I was pleasantly surprised on the size of the bowl. It's pretty big. Pictures on amazon dont show how large it is and i find it quite large enough! Also, the plastic basket that spins is pretty heavy duty... most spin baskets are kind of flimsy... not this one!! Can I give this 10 stars? Very happy with this spinner!!

Don’t cheap out. You’ll spend the same amount and be frustrated.
Let me just start off by saying that this is the 5th spinner that we’ve owned in 10 years. I decided to spend the money in the hopes that it would last more than 2 years. After using this for a few weeks, I know that I’ll be using this spinner unless something catastrophic occurs. There is a lot to like about this spinner. Everything comes apart for cleaning and is dishwasher safe (no more throwing away spinners with mold growing in the lid). It is made of high quality materials (no more broken bowls or bent up baskets). This thing is really quiet and well balanced (no more feeling like an earthquake when we crank the water out). This is so well designed for removing water that our greens stay crisp, bright, and fresh for weeks (forgotten in the corner of the fridge). I cannot say enough great things about this spinner. Was it a splurge? Yes and no...I’ve spent at least $80 in spinners and countless hours of shopping and research to get to this point. Spend the money and stop wasting your time.

Probably the best out there but at the price point needs improvement
This is probably the best salad spinner out there, the bowl is top notch stainless steel. The glass lid is perfect and the parts fit together well. I have given it 4 stars because at this price point consumers deserve better. The salad basket is plastic, as is the basket pivot on the bottom. These parts should also be better quality, for example basket made of lightweight aluminum with ribs. I haven't had a chance to actually use it but the turning mechanism is very smooth. The quality of the bowl allows it to double as a salad bowl for day to day use, that is nice functionality. Roesle is a renown German brand, we have been sold a little short in order to maximize profit. These are dangerous trends for manufacturers, they run the risk of losing loyalty and customers. At $100+ I think we deserve better.

Love this spinner
We replaced a plastic spinner that had broken long ago (and we were still using). This was as good as the price dictates. High quality, sturdy, easy to clean. Well worth the cost.

Top quality spinner.
I used a cheap plastic spinner for some time but it always left a bit too much water water on lettuce no matter how much I spun it. This became a problem after I invested in some expensive balsamic vinegar (well worth it) as it got diluted. Having looked at many alternatives I focused on the Rosle (I have two of their strainers which are excellent). The price is quite high but the results are just what I was hoping for; I usually spin the contents clockwise and then anti-clockwise to remove the maximum amount of water. The sturdy handle for the spinning mechanism makes the job very easy. The equally sturdy overall construction means that I can let it spin down without it wobbling all over the place (there is a rubber button to stop it early if necessary). A quick wipe of the bowl then means that the salad can be dressed and presented attractively. I like the matt exterior of the bowl which contrasts wit the shiny interior. The lid can be dismantled for through cleaning just by undoing two sturdy plastic screws though this is not necessary most of the time. It clips into place on the bowl quite tightly, this both helps with the spinning and means that it could be used for storage. I cannot agree with the other reviewer who does not like the fact that the basket sits on a removable plastic inset rather than having the bowl shaped. The mechanism works very well and it does mean that the bowl can be used for serving, a salad bowl with a dimple seems an odd idea!

Broke after 2 uses
Spinner top broke after 2 uses. Stainless steel bowl is useful but the product is not worth the money and does not function.
