We like it so far. Easy and convenient.

Only had this for a few weeks, but it is great. You can wash and spin dry your veggies with little effort and it beats having to air dry or pat dry lettuce, etc. So far I have nothing negative to note about this. I was concerned about the plastic latches, but they appear strong and hold the lid securely. Speaking of plastics, at first glance the basket and the mechanical parts of the lid may strike you as not sturdy. After a few uses, you will find that this entire spinner is up to the job. I really expect years of reliability even for a large family with regular use. The spinner is easy to clean and maintain. There is also a great lifetime warranty so that just sweetened the deal for me. Will it last? I expect it to and I will update this review if we run into any issues.

Much better than OX brand and Nicer!

What can I say other than I just love this thing and it's long overdue! No more washing my lettuces and vegetables in my collander and drying by paper towels! LOL Love the lock, feature as well as the huge 5qt style see thru bowl! I wash, spin and it's ready to go! LOVE IT! WTG Cusinart on this item! Lifetime guarantee registration included, easy peasy!

Best salad spinner EVER!!!

Wow! When I purchased my first salad spinner I was disappointed by the smaller size as my previous spinner was much bigger. Boy was I wrong!!!! This little salad spinner holds as much (if not more) then my previous spinner. It is SO EASY to use and the salad gets very dry and if you keep it on the basket in the fridge, the salad will last a week or more staying very fresh. I have since bought two more as gifts! We all love them!

LOVVVVE ability to wash lettuce with spinner!

I would absolutely recommend this salad spinner to anyone who wants to wash and spin dry lettuce and/or veggies. I've owned two other similar salad spinners, and they got a lot of use. My old spinners had the "pull cord" which inevitably wore out. The turn nob on this spinner not only won't wear out, but it enables me to spin the lettuce and/or veggies at high speed so they REALLY get dry. I also love that I can actually wash the lettuce in the spinner and then just dump out the dirty water before spinning the lettuce dry (check out the videos for this feature). The clips hold the lid securely to the base. I also like that I can disassemble the lid completely for cleaning.

Really cleans my lettuce dry

Last one had a rope that hurt my hand. The plastic bowl fell to the ground and it got broke. Then I found this one that has a handle to make it spin round and clean the lettuce dry. Works better than I ever thought, and really cleans the lettuce than the pre washed I had my doubts. Easy Too.

PLastic bowl is flimsy

I really like the way this salad spinner works, however the plastic bowl that came with it is pretty lightweight and flimsy. It cracked in several places, but i was still able to use it until a big crack appeared on the bottom. Wish i could just order a replacement bowl because the spinner part of it is fine.

Love washing and rinsing my fruit and veggies in the colandar then drying them is easy with the spinner.

This is helping me eat more salad

I seriously hate cleaning lettuce by hand. This makes it so easy, I just chop my lettuce and throw it in the spinner, rinse well and then spin! Great value, eat more salad!!!
