Amazing Little Slotted Olive Serving Spoon!
Ok, so I might not be the BEST person to review this item... 1. I LOVE kitchen gadgets & have for over 40 years.... 2. I LOVE miniature things! 3. I LOVE professional quality tools, too. These little guys (I purchased two) are not only adorable, but very high-quality, professional-quality spoons. They look just like the full size slotted spoons you buy for serving. I couldn't be happier. We aren't using them to scoop or retrieve olives, but no doubt they would be perfect/excellent for that purpose. We are using them to mix coconut oil into our morning coffee. I was using a spring-style honey server to scoop & mix the solid coconut oil, but it was too hard for the spring to penetrate the solid coconut oil without destroying the little spring over time (we keep the house pretty cold!). I saw these olive spoons while shopping for olive spoons to use to retrieve "decorative glass stones" out of the fish tank without disturbing the little plants in my underwater garden (just plants, no fish). Overall, well worth the $15.00!

Deep spaghetti spoon
I have been looking everywhere for a deep spaghetti spoon. The pictures for other products are deceiving, Making those spaghetti spoon and look deep, when really they are painfully shallow. I couldn’t be more excited about finally having a sturdy metal, attractive looking spaghetti spoon!

Exactly what I was looking for!
Really love the quality and size of this (hooked) spaghetti server. For some reason, these utensils have grown huge over the past few years. Rosle's finish, weight, and size are all perfect. I uploaded three pics to show its actual size in comparison. Forego all the others, this is the one you'll use!

It's Good, but No Longer Made in Germany -- Sadly
This is a genuine Rösle spaghetti spoon. I just wish all this stuff was still made in Germany, when you could really tell care was put into the precision. Rösle is still the brand to collect, but when a precision German company start making stuff in Asia, they are: cutting labor, cutting quality, cutting precision, cutting packaging. Those things used to mean a lot to Rösle. Hmmm.

one of my favorite implements in the kitchen
after 4 years of ownership, i still love this for stirring stews and scraping the bottom of an oatmeal pot or chili cook. it looks just the same as when i bought it. easy to clean! the hooked end does get caught in a jar full of other long utensils whenever i pull it out. (i personally don't like putting the spoon side down.) so now i hang it on the door of one of my cabinets. not only does it hang nicely from that hooked end, but i use a wine cork (screwed in) to stop it from swinging to and fro. i only added the cork recently after noticing that the strong spoon was creating a groove in the cabinet door. yes, it's that strong.

Expensive?... Worth every penny!!
This was the most expensive cooking spoon I have ever purchased... and it was worth every penny! I used to wonder why mechanics would pay more for one Snap-On or Matco open end wrench than you could pay for an entire set of Craftsman wrenches, until I used one. There is a difference, and the difference is worth it if you are going to use the tool every day. This spoon is like that. I only wish the handle were about 1-1/2 inch longer. Otherwise, it's perfect. Thing as simple as the rolled edges of the handle, the spline to stiffen it, the angle of the head all show that a lot of attention went into the design. Thank you!!

High Quality Pasta Fork
I am not sure about the other reviewer, but I purchased this pasta fork in June 2010 and it was both 18/10 Stainless and made in Germany. The heft and quality of this piece is very high. I somewhat like a longer oval head versus this round head, but it does the job well regardless - I just don't think it catches as much as an oval head does (I would give it a 4 for usability and a 5 for quality). However, since it is getting harder to find well made utensils from countries like Germany, I would highly recommend this. I would note that Rosle has been moving a lot of its manufacturing operations to China, and it wouldn't surprise me if the rest of their lines - including this - go as well. Yet, in its current form, this is a high-quality stainless steel utensil which feels great in the hand and is very functional in use.

Excellent well designed spoon that does exactly what it’s made to do. Rosle normal high quality.

Slimline
We have a large collection of Rosle 'round handle' utensils. All are well constructed and pleasingly weighty in the hand. Whist this 'Honey spoon' is lovely to look at and hold, the hanging loop is much smaller and the barrel narrower than most other Rosle utensils! Consequently the 'Honey spoon' looks out of place next to anything but the 'Gourmet thermometer', the 'Crepes spreader' and the 'Butter spatula'. If you - or your gift recipient - would notice and be irritated by just such a design discrepancy, consider a different Rosle utensil.
