Nice salad spinner
This salad spinner is in good quality. The material is thick plastic and also the spinner is easy to assemble. The bucket inside is easy to clean and can be taken out easily. Additionally the spinner is easy to use. I just need to pull the string by pulling the ring far, then the spinner will spin pretty fast. My wife does feel a little tension to pull the string but for me it is very easy. The water will spin off the salad vegetable and then we can have dry and fresh salad for dinner. Like it!

Whole item, doesn't quite add up to the sum of its parts.
I'm going to start this off, by stating.. I like this product.. I don't LOVE it.. but I really like it, and if it'd been designed a little differently, then I'd love it. So, what do I like? The colander design, on this unit, is fantastic. it drains water well, and the fact that it has a flip out handle is awesome. The blades do a decent job of cutting up everything. The power of the pull string is decent, though I worry about its longevity. It works well... kinda. Here's the thing... everything about this product, I love.. but when you consider the design, from a workflow, it's... broken... Let me explain: When I make a chopped salad, I tend to wash everything first.. so that means putting everything into the colander and rinsing it. So far, so good. Then I move the basket to the spinner, and remove excess water by spinning it. Also, good. However, from there, I need to remove the vegetables, and do the basic cuts, and then put them into the chopper... and this is where things start to fall apart. See.. once you add the items to the chopper, you can't have it TOO packed in there, otherwise the blades will just spin the entire bowl of veggies, without doing any cutting. So, gotta slowly add vegetables in... ok.. fine.. not a big deal. HOWEVER, once you cut up all of the veggies, and it DOES cut them up... you're going to wind up with a bit more juice than you probably wanted.. after all, the blades are plastic, so they don't cut as well as a mezzaluna would.. so you get a bit of a combination of cutting, and ripping. So.. yeah.. it makes things a bit liquidy. Now.. here's the problem.. transferring the smashed/cut up veggies into the colander, to remove the excess juice (I actually recommend adding some pre-shredded lettuce, here, to sort of fill it out)... it's a giant mess. Also, as others have pointed out, it's not very large, overall, so there isn't a lot of room to make a big salad. So.. what could be done to make this a better product? Perhaps metal blades would help make the chopping a little less of a mess... perhaps making a slightly larger product, that could allow you to chop INSIDE the basket? (maybe have a button to hold, that will keep the basket locked in place, while you spin the blades, and then once you remove the blades, and aren't pressing the button, the pull rope will spin it? Less steps, overall.. and less of a mess to clean up, honestly. See, that's the thing.. separately, all of the steps and parts with this chopper and spinner.. work well. It's not until you start adding them together, that the weaknesses start to be visible. All in all, I like it, and will still use it.. but I think for larger salads, I'll stick with simply shaking a large bowl, after chopping everything up in it, with a single or double bladed mezzaluna.

Makes salad prep a breeze!
Good quality salad spinner that makes dinner prep a breeze. This is the second salad spinner I've owned and this one is much higher quality than my last one. I was a little concerned about the pull-string getting tangled or broken, but so far so good, no issues. Anything that makes meal prep faster and easier is a win in my book! Durable, easy to clean - 5-stars!

Decent Salad Spinner, Go For Cheaper Option If You Don't Need The Chopper
This is a decent salad spinner. I didn't test the chopper as I typically use these to dry spinach, so I can't say how that aspect of it works. However, this worked decently well for drying spinach. It dried the leaves an adequate amount and was easy to operate. The handle on the colander is convenient and I like how sturdy it is in comparison to my previous cheap salad spinner. It also went through my dishwasher well and without issue, although it did take up quite a bit of space. My main con on this is the price ($32.99). While this is a good salad spinner, I would only consider it marginally better in function than a cheaper model in the $16 to $25 range. I ended up rating this as four stars because, as noted above, I didn't test out the chopper function on this. If the chopper function is similarly "meh", I would probably rate it closer to three stars. Overall, this is a decent salad spinner. It does exactly what I need it to in drying my veggies and does an adequate job of it. However, if you don't need the chopper function, I would likely recommend going with a cheaper model as it doesn't function significantly better than they do.

Decent salad spinner
This item is good for spinning out excess water from your veggies. It always seems like a struggle for me to get washed lettuce and other veggies dry enough before either serving or storing them. This is a great solution. The product does not seem extremely sturdy but it gets the job done. No more watered down salads! Recommend for those who use fresh veggies and eat a lot of salads.

Does the job.
This is a giant thing for a family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids). It takes up a lot of space in my fridge when I like to store my salad inside it. I can understand how it can be smaller for bigger families, but for ours, its plenty. Coming to its construction, the materials used are pretty good. Not cheaply made at all. The colander is my favorite, its so well made and the handle folds on top of the bowl I love that function I use it for everyday cooking. Although the chopping part is a little flimsy, imo it doesn't do the best job chopping I always end up tearing the lettuce apart myself. I use this for spinning not really for chopping. It does do a decent job draining as much water as it can. Although I'm not a huge fan of the fact that I have to pull a string to get the job done - its noisy.

Great
This salad spinner arrives well packaged and is easy to open and start enjoying right away. Everything fits together well and it spins smoothly and for a long time allowing your lettuce to be clean and dry. This works great.
