Good Value
These are cheap imported clamps but they work fine. I'm primarily using them on a chairmaking mortising block. Standard 3/8“ bolts fit into the middle slot. Watch out for marring from the pads! I've drilled 7/8" holes into some scraps to act as shoes.

Less than average
The first thing I noticed when I set the clamp on the table was that the bottom was not flat, it rocked significantly side to side. The second and more problematic issue was that the clamp screw thread was not cut perpendicular to the bottom. This causes the clamp to push the work piece out of position as it is tightened. I'm using this clamp permanently mounted so I was able to install shims under three corners to get the screw perpendicular, but if I was using it as a removable clamp, it would be much more of a problem.

Useful hold down clamp, even upside-down!
I bought one of these because I already had one like it, to mount the pair upside-down under a portable workbench to clamp it to a table, other bench and so on. I switched these for a pair of Jogensen hold-downs as they are close to the same size and cheaper. These clamps don't come with mounting hardware, but you can get threaded rod, a couple of nuts and a washer that will fit from a hardware store. To get the right size, take the clamp to the store, fit a nut in the slot at the base of the stand, then the threaded rod you want is whatever fits the nut. You can size the length of the rod depending on what it goes through, such as the thickness of a bench-top. Recommended, but set at 4 stars because you have to find mounting hardware.

Acceptable only if you to put more work into it
I ordered 2 of these because Jorgensen's version was no longer available. The price seemed reasonable and previous reviewers generally praised this Woodstock version. My experience wasn't as positive. One clamp body had several small areas where paint was missing or chipped off. Two metric mounting bolts (M10, coarse thread), nuts and washers came with each clamp box but the bolts weren't long enough for my application. The corners of these bolt heads were rounded in order to fit snugly into the clamp's body recess. Although this recess can accept a standard SAE 3/8" hex head bolt fairly well the fit is greatly improved by rounding over the corners of the new bolt head. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase but I'm disappointed that so much touch up and extra fiddling is required to make it work well with American fasteners.

I like it
I bought this out of impulse, but it turned out to be a good buy. Very conveinient for holding down workpieces and/or other workbench accessories and/or benchtop power tools. It can be permanantly attached to any surface using the two notches on either side of the base. However, it can also be temporarily (but effectively) attached using the large notch, closest to the screw. I elected the latter, using a 5/16 bolt fed through the dog holes in my workbench. Works well. Edited to add - This product does not include any mounting hardware. FYI.
