Perfect
You never know what you'll get ordering on line. I wanted a quality 6 inch springform for a last minute bday. Amazon Prime to the rescue! I bake a lot, so kind of picky on pans. This one is a strong heavy weight construction. The spring rim is tight and holds well. My first choice is a light colored aluminum for temperature purposes. Which narrowed my search. This pan baked the cheesecake off nicely. After cooking, the rim came off clean. I handwashed the pan. It was easier at the moment, but would be confident the top rack of the dishwasher would work just fine.

Reviews are correct about leakage
I lost my other 6inch springform pan. I don't remember what brand it was. I just remembered it was dark color nonstick. I've made cheesecake plenty of times using it. Never had any leakage(Not even butter melting from the crust). Anyways, I thought I'd give this one a try. I had it lined with parchment paper as always. But it still leaked the butter. Now the batter for cheesecake was thick so I didn't expect it to leak at all. I see other people posting about cake batter which is usually thinner. But the fact that the butter also leaked I do not like it. The main reason I line it eith either foil or parchment is to avoid excess cleaning, especially the little crevice where the removable part sits. Unfortunate. Will return.

Heavy and durable, works great for me.
If you put anything liquid in this, it's going to leak. Heavy batters seem to work fine, I have made cheese cake, pie and stuffing in this and it did not leak at all. If you want to make a cake or anything with thin or runny liquid, use a cake pan or a springform pan advertised to be leak proof, or very carefully line it with foil. This one is not leak proof. I don't deduct any stars because I knew this before I bought it. They recommend you hand wash it. If you put it in the dish washer and it oxidizes or whatever, it's your own fault. I ran it through the dishwasher without thinking, and it came out just fine, but to be safe, hand wash it like they say in the description. I am very happy with this pan. It's heavy and durable, not the thin sheet metal junk that so many of these pans are made of. The bottom is heavily grooved, and I'm not sure what they were thinking when they designed that. It causes some things to stick, and it can be difficult to clean. I don't deduct any stars for this because I know about this before I bought it. It is not non-stick. If you want a non-stick pan, don't buy this. I bought this pan because I did not want a pan with non-stick coating, I refuse to use non-stick cookware. I can live with this. I like it and I would buy another one.

Excellent pan, PERFECT size.
Exactly what I needed to make a 6” Cheesecake with good height. When a 9” or 10” is just too much, this pan is perfect. Highly recommend.

Great For Your Baker
My teen daughter is into baking and loves this springform pan. It is top quality, works well, and is easy to clean. What's not to love? ~ Kort

Addition for the instant pot
It is a good addition for the instant pot; but it did leak when I made ‘baked’ eggs and therefore was NOT easy to clean. I put into the dishwasher and still had to scrub a lot. It was good for a chocolate cake, not leak there; but still very difficult to clean.

If your looking for a LEAK PROOF pan, this is NOT IT!!
Disappointed… Very disappointed. I looked everywhere to find a 6” spring form pan in order to make lasagna in my Insta pot. When I found this one I was thrilled, it got great ratings and the reviews I read were stellar, AND it was 3” deep which was fantastic for lasagna. When I got the pan, I spent all day preparing/cooking my grandmothers homemade gravy (Italian marinara sauce) recipe (simmers for 6-8hrs on stove) in order to make my lasagna. It was late when I finished the gravy, but I was so excited to make lasagna I began the process. I started with gravy in the bottom so it wouldn’t stick and begin layering. I was able to get a lot of layers because of the depth of this pan which I was thrilled with!! When I was about 1/2 done I noticed there was sauce on the counter. I thought I was just being sloppy. I wasn’t, :(. After I finish the last layer, I picked up then pan and gravy leaked everywhere. I mean everywhere! I couldn’t believe it, did I not put the pan together right? I have several other spring form pans and I’ve never had a problem putting them together. Since most of the gravy had leaked out all ready I opened the spring and adjusted the bottom and reset the pan, that didn’t help. I ended up having to get the trusty old “cake pan“ and put it all in that in a jumbled mess that didn’t resemble lasagna at all. I attempted to save as much of the gravy as I could, and it all got put in the fridge to deal with the next day. I did a quick clean up at 11:30pm. After I had gotten a good nights sleep, calmed down from the frustration and fiasco of the night before, I worked with that springform pan for 45 minutes trying to get it set properly so that it would not leak. Needless to say, it did not work. It would not seal. So while I love the size, especially the depth, and it seemed sturdy and durable, and the seller was very prompt in getting it to me, I could not use it for the reason I bought it for. If you’re looking for something that is leak proof this is NOT the item you want! If you’re only going to do THICK batters or the like, it would probably work great. I ended up returning the pan and finding another one, after a lot of research, that specifically said it was leakproof— which I have never had to look for before. Hope this helps someone!

Greatpan for the IP
Great 6 inch pan for my instant pot. I have a 6 QT IP and this pan fits inside perfectly. I could go up a size, I believe, to a 7 inch. I plan on buying a second pan and will try out the 7 inch next time. I’m overall very pleased with this pan though. I will say, that it leaks when I make lasagna. So, I just have to be sure to put a something underneath it will I’m building my lasagna and while it’s under the broiler, so that it doesn’t drip everywhere.
