Its an OKAY product.

Back popped off spilling beads all over my humidor. Had to fill it back up and used the excess beads in my other humidor with a similar empty case I had from before. Good product but quality could be better. I like the fact it's translucent. My suggestion would be to open it before filling it with distilled water and take some beads out as it will pop due to over crowded beads. You can always refill it with other aftermarket water beads gels.

All I'll Ever Use!

I have three of the larger 250 humidifiers and they work great. This is no different, just for smaller humidors for up to 75 cigars. Fill it up with distilled water, let it sit for a couple of hours and let the beads soak up the water, pour off any excess and your good to go! Keeps a constant 65-75% RH depending on your humidor size and cigar quantity and how many times a day you open it, but it recovers quickly. Doesn't mold like foam and only needs to be refilled every 3 weeks to a month depending on the relative humidity in your home. Should last a couple of years if not more. I've been using one of my large ones for 3 years without any issues and it still keeps a constant 70-74% RH. So if you're tired of foam molding and having to fill it every week or two or spending a ton of money on PG solution (Distilled water is only .79 - .99 cents a gallon, PG solution at it's cheapest runs $3.99 for an 8oz bottle) or constant spikes or drops in your humidity, this may be your solution and I highly recommend using this humidifier. It's almost maintenance free!!!

Not Recommended.

I charged the crystals with distilled water. There are no instructions in the box, but for me it took about 45 minutes. Tested over several days in a sealed container and it consistently hit 83-85% humidity. Way too high. I let about half of the water evaporate from the crystals and tried again. Same 83% humidity. Cigars need to stay within 65%-75%, or risk mold, taste, and beetle problems. It's possible that the chemical in the device I received had simply decayed. I gave it two stars because the casing and magnet are nice quality, and it might have been a fluke with what I experienced, but I'm not trusting my cigars to this product. FYI The digital hydrometer I used for the test reads 76% with a salt paste and 70% with a Boveda 69% packet.

Absolutly horrible, do not buy!!!!

After just filling it up with distilled water, per instructions and putting it in my humidor, the back part of the humidifier fell off causing the little beads to go everywhere. Once I gathered all the little beads off the floor, I put them back in and tried to put the back on again it wouldn’t stay shut. To have something break right out of the box, literally, is nothing but a rip off. If only I could give this no stars it would be a better representstion of this product.

Poor construction / quality

Even amidst the poor reviews I opted to purchase it. Big mistake, I added the distilled water and placed it in my humidor. I checked on it 2 hours later and the bottom had fallen off and I had beads all over my humidor. Look elsewhere as this seems to be a reoccurring issue with this model.

Poor Quality

Was working fine for 3 days. Then adhesive metal backing came undone. Very disappointed. Amazon sent me a replacement and the replacement broke. Don’t understand why it doesn’t hold together

Okay humidifier but ...

Arrived in one piece, decent size but adhesive joining magnet to back of humidifier is poor. Had to glue it back on and only hope it will stay together.

Does what it promises

Put distilled water in, balls swell up. When balls shrink add more distilled water. Keeps my cigars at the ideal humidity better than the cheap sponge version Quality also sells. Top up about once and month. Much less mess than sponges or open containers of distilled water. This has a sticker base that your can choose to use to mount your puck in your humidor; I never saw the purpose as its hard to refill it when its mounted in any orientation other than flat.
