It does take up a little space, but works well. Easy to fill with fluid without dismantling. I will reorder.

Works as intended...but...

Love the device as it helps keep the humidity in my humidor at required levels...but the adhesion stickers to the magnet is something that is more desired to hold the device in place. I ended up scraping off the old adhesive and using my own 3M double sided sticky tape. I originally thought the magnets weren't strong enough, but then realized the sticky tape it comes with isn't strong enough.

Cigar Humidifier Large 7 inch x 3 inch Works great !!

I ordered an extra one of these humidifiers for a larger Humidor I have that came with what I consider next to a joke for humidifiers. I have several other humidors with exactly this same humidifier in it and they work very well. This arrived in a nice box, shrink wrapped inside the box. The magnets attached on the back are held on by two sided tape, which is typical of humidors that come with this type humidifier. I typically prefer humidors that hold 100-200 cigars. Unless your going for a really high tech humidor, simply because it's hard maintaining the correct humidity in larger cabinet type humidors. Which is what I bought this for. This is a sealed unit, that soaks well. I usually refresh these about every other week. Using normally distilled water. Some prefer propylene glycol 50/50 solution. But most real cigar aficionado's will agree distilled water works just as well and is much cheaper. Also it's available at your grocery store. I read a lot of negative reviews on this and I really don't understand why. As I said, these come sealed. And price wise, they are a great value. These are 7" long and about 3' wide. And with Prime, two day shipping is free. Nothing not to like about these. After reading a couple of negative reviews I wanted to come back and add that you NEVER use tap water in a Humidor. Forgive me for everyone that already knows that. But when I read mold is growing on my humidifier, or it's getting rusty. They are using tap water. And you will ruin your cigars. Use only distilled water or propylene glycol 50/50 solution. But never tap water in a humidor, you will ruin your humidor and your cigars.

The Good and the Bad

The good - seems to be of better quality than previous humidifiers I've bought for my humidor. Fits exactly in the space for it on the inside of the lid and keeps the humidity at 70%. The bad - as other reviewers have said, the sticky side of the metal that holds to the magnet is weak and the thing fell off after just a few days. I put double sided tape on it and it has stayed up for few weeks now. It leaks from the side seam if you try to fill it with fluid So, you can't completely fill it, but stays at 70% for a long time even partially filled. Both of these are annoying enough to dock it a star down to 4. Overall, pretty happy with it, but could use some improvements.

With some tweaking will work with small humidors

Have some glue on hand to glue magnets in and on your humidor!

Too Heavy

The humidifier is very heavy. The glue on the sticky magnetic things that are supposed to hold them to the humidifier lid are not strong enough. Ended up using crazy glue

Finally a product that is large enough!

Finally a product that is large enough! I have a few different humidors, but I have been struggling in winter time Chicago to keep them in the 70% range. I finally realized the humidifiers I was using were simply too small. My humidors hold maybe 20-30 cigars. This one was finally big enough for me not to have to check the thing every couple days. With this so I can go over a week before checking. Big improvement over last winter.

Keeps my humidor the perfect humidity two sided tape sucks

When I got this out of the box, one of the magnet pads had already come loose from the back side. I have just used it on the bottom of the humidor for now. It keeps my larger humidor right around 72% so at least it does that well. It’s easy to refill

I'm not stuck on this

Generally works fairly well but, the adhesive sticks well to the spanish cedar lid but the other sde of the adhesive (magnets) refuses to stick to the plastic of the humidifier. Surface was clean and I did not touch the adhesive but I open my humidor and the humidifier is laying loose with magnets still stuck to the top. Not cool.

Didn’t quite work with our humidor’s magnets and the ones that came in the box, but we bought different magnets and the humidifier does a great job. The magnets may work for some humidors and not others, but it was a $2 fix and we did not have to use adhesives!

Perfect fit

Works perfectly with my humidor, just the right size coupled with the propylene glycol keeps my cigars at the right humidity. Very pleased with the product.
