Recommended - Good Height & Robust

Our 3 Siamese cats love it. I bought the last one in February and am having to replace it again now - 4 and a half months later. They have stripped away all the rope (as usual), so my wish is just that the rope was attached much more strongly. Otherwise it's great. Our cats never ever go near any other furniture items to scratch, this satisfies all their needs. It is robust and doesn't fall over like some of the cheaper ones. It is also tall enough for a normal-sized cat (most on the market are far too short to let the cat stretch out while scratching, which is what they like to do). We breed Siamese and often recommend the Trixie products to new owners as they seem to be the most robust on the market

INCOMPLETE & DANGEROUS (Parts to assemble missing)

Well I suppose you get what you pay for. Post arrive with parts missing and no way of contacting seller, had to dismantle my old post & use the the base screw from it to use on my new one plus there was no allen key. 'VERY DISAPPOINTED' I have purchased a lot of goods through Amazon & this is the first purchase from Amazon that I have had to leave a negative response for. The whole construction is very flimsy & as other have stated not enough padding on the top platform & you can feel the screw through it. No good as a resting platform as the whole thing wobbles, my cats love to jump up on things and they just refuse to use it as I don't think they feel safe, it is also wobbling about when they are scratching the post. Better paying extra and getting something your cat can use.

Broken

It’s broken . When I attempted to put it together the base metal part came out NOT HAPPY!!!! Free Replacement received and the screw was missing! Thankfully I had the screw from the first delivery . I’ve managed to get it togther so will see how long it lasts. I do not recommend this product . It’s worth spending a bit more to get a better product where all parts are delivered. !

Great for Cats

I am replacing my cats scratch trees as they are old. This was the first one I purchased and im happy with it. Sturdy, easy to assemble, well packaged. I will buy again as i have 2 more to replace.

My kitten LOVES it!

From the moment it arrived, my 4 month old russian blue kitten was interested in this. It was easy to assemble and she instantly jumped to the top so she could look out the window. I had to tie a ribbon with a mouse on it to the scratching post to get her interested in scratching it, but she soon got the hang of it. I would say she now spends at least 3 hours a day sitting on top of it! Just great, and looks nice too. Does wobble a little and would have liked the felt to continue under the top part, but apart from that- purrrfect!
