ITS NOT GRAY!

first of all, its not gray! Its a light beige. I was looking for gray to blend in more. Second, this thing is huge! I mean HUGE. Was also looking for something that wouldnt take up so much room, this certainly didnt do that. My kitty likes to get up on my pacman machine and i'm trying to find an easier way for her. While, it did seem sturdy once up, the lowest shelf didnt seem like it would last and would break off. If i would have kept it, i just would of screwed an L-bracket to the bottom of the shelf and wall to fix that problem. Other reviews said you need 2 people to mount...not true, I weigh 111lbs and managed to do it myself (the tower weighs 48lbs). Where there's a will, theres a way (i moved a bench and some books stacked on it and then balanced the tower until i could screw the first screw at the top in). You will need a power drill with a hex head. I dont think i'd recommend it just for the fact that its so huge protruding from a wall. OH, and i guess most important of all, my cats refused to touch it. lol Picky little boogers, guess they get it from me

Kitty approved!!

The media could not be loaded. It was kind of confusing to figure out the instructions but my husband had it together quickly once he figured it out. They all fell off of it the first day so that was a little stressful. It’s the 3rd day and no one is falling so I think they’re learning the limits now. It does make me nervous when they get on top and start rough housing. They LOVE it though! We added some hanging toys. I would say this is a really good value and a big hit with our 3 cats.

Interesting idea but for my cats

The cats I have started out on a carpeted tree and after replacing the old one with a wooden tree and watching them slide on the shelves, I got this. This is not carpet but a thin fabric and the kittens can't sink their claws in the way they did on the carpeted tree. So while it is better than bare wood, it's not that appealing to them and I have never seen them use the hammock bed. They would still rather sleep on the couch.

Good purchase, but beware the falling cat

This has been a fantastic purchase in giving our cat a place of sanctuary from our overly playful dog. It was easy to assemble once we got our own mounting hardware, the one con is definitely the mounting screws, they were cheap and one snapped clean in half while installing it. Absolutely get hardier stuff at the hardware store. We decided to short it one platform and it still turned out well, and was worth the money. If you've got an absolutely bat crap crazy cat beware the very real possibility that they might fall from acting a fool, so maybe don't put it next to the couch because having a cat fall directly on you from 6ft over your head while you nap is not a fun way to wake up.

Cats love but

The cats love it but I almost returned it cause getting it put up was a pain. I had to get my own wood screws cause the ones that came with it either stripped or actually broke in half inside the wall. I used brackets to help support it cause when the cats jumped on it it would jerk back and forth. It's working so far for now. For the price it's worth it since we needed a new one that was elevated off the floor.

My cat approves

It's a little heavy and does take two people to set up if you're trying to do it correctly. Once it's properly mounted it's pretty much good to go and works as advertised. My cat immediately jumped on and now flies up and down it regularly. I like to sprinkle treats all around it so she can slowly work her way up to the top. However, she hasn't quite figured out the hammock part of it yet but that's ok I think that's just my cats personality lol

Great for kittens!; Not for big cats:/

Although this product is easily assembled; it does have a great down factor. I have two Maine coons, and one Tortoiseshell. One Maine is a kitten and is fine while climbing. As soon as his brother and sister jumped on for a while the item began to fold and bend. The middle section has now broke off and fell on my fiancé as she was walking past lol. My opinion would be to use longer/thicker screws for manufacture reference.

Great cat tower but tricky to install.

Great cat scratch tower! Our kitten loves it! Be aware that is is quite heavy and you need to drill into a stud in your wall to properly install it. The included screws for wall mounting are not strong enough and easily break, so be sure to get your own screws from a hardware store.
