Really nice cozy place for a smaller cat

I loved everything about it. Unfortunately I did have to return it because my cat is too big ???? Recommend for medium small cat. And the cozy tube has crinkle material inside - every cats delight ????

The Cat is Happy

Just as the title states the cat is happy with this! The negative is the assembly instructions are terrible. The instructions should state which order the parts are installed.

Update

2/28 update: This seller is TERRIFIC as customer service goes. I had a small issue and reached out to TRIXIE Pets and they addressed it ASAP. I haven't see that kind of service in a long time. The Cat tree is great for my 3 legged kitty. He is a bigger cat and he fits fine in the hammock and the steps help him get to the hammock and down. If you have a senior Cat or a physically challenged kitty this is well worth the money and very well made. I just purchased this for my senior 3 legged kitty. Delivery was fast and product is nice and tower seems sturdy however the hammock frame inside the hammock is broken. I have reached out to Trixie in hopes they will send a replacement part for free as this is a new purchase. I will update this review once its resolved.

My cat loves it!

I got this to replace the Trixie Baza Gandia, and this is much better. The two scratching posts are sturdy and securely support the hammock. When you first get it, it may seem like the hammock is too tight, but over a couple days, as my cat layed in it, it sank a bit, looking more like the picture. It has held together and shows no sign of damage.

Holds morbidly obese varmints!

I bought one of these in 2016 and it still is completely structurally sound. No fabric ripping or pieces coming apart. It’s for my mother’s cats which are declawed (shame) so take that in to account but it has a scratching so I’m sure it lasts so clawed cats. I bought her the same one because it was getting a little matted. Still worked great but I bought a fresher one. Now she has two which get used every day. EVERY DAY. And one of her cats is the size of a big raccoon and the other is the size of a small Volkswagen and somehow these structures still stand. A modern marvel of human engineering or just a well made product? You decide but fat cats love it.

Very cute and kitten loves it

As soon as I finish putting it together my kitten climbed in. Doesn’t seem like it will last very long though. The assembly directions were terrible. However, my kitten loves it so I will definitely purchase it again.

We all love this cat tree/hammock

Review from both me and our 7 kitties: We all love this cat tree/hammock! But really, you want to know.... how do you go from 0 to 7 cats.... really, really quickly??? No problem, I'll tell you! Step number one: Take in stray that wanders in to your garage. That is one cat. Step Two: Allow 20 year old daughter to keep stray kitten she has kidnapped from kitten's stray cat mother's litter, and then brings her home and promises to love her forever and care for her forever and also to have her spayed. Step Three: Twenty year old daughter moves out with boyfriend once kitten has grown up and declares that her cat hates her but loves us, her parents, and so she is leaving cat (Maxie) with mom and dad. She still promises to get cat spayed. Step Four: Daughter does not get cat spayed. And of course, Maxie gets outside and gets pregnant. And YAY!!!! A few months later and we have: Seven cats!!! Congrats! Miracle of all miracles! But we love them all and feel responsible for them all.... we.... meaning me and my husband..... mom and dad. And so..... as to this small cat tree, they all love it, all 7 of them! We've watched Jackson Galaxy's "Cat from Hell" show. We know they need their own territory and their own space. So they have one large cat tree which they love, they have also this cat tree/hammock which they love, lots of cardboard scratching posts, hanging toys, and what not...... And a few other smaller cat trees also which they don't really like so much. This one, however, .... they all LOVE and FIGHT over. This small cat cave/tree/hammock is in our bedroom. There is really no cat ever in the cave underneath (so if I had it to do over I'd just buy the smaller one with the hammock and not the cave), but there is always some kitty in the hammock, and sometimes 2 or 3 cats in the hammock. Many of them also use the sisal scratching posts on the two sides. Great buy, they love it! And even though we didn't ask for any of our 7 kitties, we love them all, and they run this house!

Great Product!

Assembly might be a little tricky - pay attention to which posts have pre-set bolts in them and which don't, and look closely at the photo instructions for which posts go where, based on which have pre-set bolts and which ones don't. Once assembled, my cat took to this cat tree immediately and loves it! For those wondering about dimensions, it is about 2 feet square, around, and about 3 feet tall. It goes perfectly in a window (which is where I put mine, so my kitty can lay in the hammock on the top and watch the world go by), and my cat definitely uses the scratching posts, especially the one that is middle height in the front and center. She also sits on the steps. If a kitty takes a bit to acclimate to it, or if this is your first kitty tree, I recommend sprinkling just a little bit of catnip in the hammock, or making sure your kitty sees you putting cat treats in it to encourage the kitty to know that it's theirs. My cat does not mess with anything until I show her that it's hers. I put treats on the steps, too, to lead her up to the hammock. I hope your cat loves this tree as much as mine does - she lays in it several times throughout the day. The tallest post looks a little crooked on mine, though. I think it has to do with the width of the hammock basket. I don't care, though, as long as it's sturdy and the kitty is happy, and it's a yes to both of those. The only flaw with this product is the fact that there is no way to wash the basket fabric. It gets dirty over time.

Sweet

It's very very cute, fluffy and of subtle colour. My cat seemed to be scared of it at first, but is slowly getting used to it. He is a bit of a coward anyway so it's not due to the product itself. Was very easy to assemble, but there were no instructions so you gotta figure out by yourself which screw goes where (each has a different size!). But as said, it is not rocket science and any average-intelligence specie should not have problems assembling it.

TRIXIE GANDIA SCRATCHING POST

Poor quality

Within three days my cats had pulled the string down the cardboard tube as there wasn't sufficient string on the tube - there is now several inches of exposed cardboard at the top. I find this quite poor quality for something that originally cost £50.00. If at all possible I would like a replacement tube to be sent to me.
