these work great

i love these timers. they could not be more simple to set up. i have some that are 3 years old and they still work fine. battery life appears to be good. you have to keep the cover on because they are not waterproof without it.

I like the programming

I bought 2 of these for two different garden areas on my property. One still works after 2 years the other one still worked but would not hold the program in memory. The new one I just bought is a replacement, hope it last longer.

Lasted a long time!

I use this timer for my greenhouse irrigation system. I installed the same unit 11 years ago, and it just stopped working this year. It isn't always in a good environment, as it gets very hot and humid in the summer. I am satisfied that this is a reliable device, especially for the relatively inexpensive cost. I would definitely recommend this timer.

Very reliable and easy to use

I now have a several of these. Of all the timers I’ve bought over the years, this is the most reliable. I can count on it still working for season after season. It is very easy to use with no instructions since its interface is well designed. It isn’t complex with multiple programming options so if you need that then this may not be the timer for you but for straight forward simple to use you can’t beat this.

Great product!

I’ve used these timers for years, all over my property. They last for years and the batteries run at least a year or more. Super easy to install and simple to set, which is important to me. I’m a plug and play person and like things simple! I usually buy them locally but nobody had them, so thank you Amazon!

Reliable timer so far

I have only owned this for 2 weeks, but so far it is working perfectly. I needed a timer to add water to my pond each day since we are in a drought and I don't want my fish to die. Since I'm on a well I don't want to run the water all at once, so I looked for a timer. This was one of the few timers that gave the option of several runs per day. Right now I'm running the timer every 2 hours for a 15 minute run. I really wish this timer could do every hour, as that would be even better. I also wish there was another option between 15 and 30 minute run times. Ideally I would like to run every hour for 10 minutes, or every 2 hours for 20 minutes. Instead I'm forced to run every 2 hours for 15 minutes, or 30 minutes. I also wish this thing was designed for higher flow rates, it looks quite constricted inside and negates the fact I bought a full 3/4" hose to hook up to it. The timer obviously wasn't designed for what I'm trying to do with it, so I don't hold that against it.

You can have it run various modes, once a day, twice a day etc, for various lengths of time. Works great!

Good timer for a limited water supply

I am trying to keep my flower gardens alive on well water. I picked this timer as it allows short and frequent cycles, such as 5 minutes on every 2 hours. I can set it when I leave for work in the morning, allowing a significant amount of total on time without draining the well. My only criticism is that it does restrict water flow, on my system the sprinkler covers about 20% less area when run through the timer. This is a problem because I can now no longer cover some areas fully.

Not worth it

They worked, they have nice brass fittings on the inlet side. They take 3 AA battery’s and mine was throwing low battery warnings after 2 weeks. The battery cartridge comes out very easily when you pop the top off and I had to reset mine a few times. Buy the cheaper orbit one much more simple and well designed.

Water timers.

I bought two, one as a replacement for the existing one, as it burned out and one as a spare. They perform very well, are easy to program and battery life in my use is about 1 year. There is a problem with these units though. This would be the fifth one I have had to replace. Seems the problem is in the output valve stage it always burns out or just quit opening but the unit fits exactly in the spot I need it for. So every two years or so I have changed them out. Not the best as I never thought that there would be a problem with the units burning out. I have used two manual versions and two like the ones purchase both with same final result. Pictured is what I call the manual ones.

Very disappointed. Less than 3 months of use.

DEFECTIVE. This quit in less than 3 months. Each time I checked it, the clock had reverted to 12:00. Tried to return it but Amazon said the window for returning had closed after 30 days. I have several similar ones that still work after years of use
