So Far, So Good

I have had this for 2 years now, and have used it a couple of dozen times. It has been reliable, easy to use, and seems to be fairly accurate. I use it for filling my 45 gallon travel trailer water tank with 5 gallons of waters prior to departure, to have a bit of water for use while traveling. I also use it when filling the tank full, to know about when the tank is full.

This does the trick

I was simply curious about how much water my RV tank actually held. The specs were very vague since I had an Extreme version. This little gadget showed spot-on the 32 gallons I suspected. Biggest confusing downside is that you cannot turn it off. You simply let it time out....

Great product to add to your Rv or 5th wheel, travel trailer to count the water for flossing the black tank, or filling the fresh water holding tank.

Now I know how much water I'm putting in my black tank

I've used it twice with my trailer so far and it's been working well, I can confidently flush or fill my tank with the right amount of water. Admittedly, I haven't measured the flow by filling a 5 gallon bucket or anything, but I did let it run to 29 gallons with my 30 gallon tank and it didn't overflow. ????

Works great for me, but it is kinda fragile and my second one just broke.

I’ll split the difference between a five star for operation and a one star for durability I like the operation and it is very simple. You press one button and it is like a split on a stopwatch. You can press both buttons and get the total flow rate reset. It is great on the RV for flushing the tanks and I fill them about 3/4 full, but would never know that without a flow meter. I really wish someone made a solid brass version

Essential tool for RVs and Campers

This water meter is very well designed and very useful. It turns itself off when not in use and turns on when it detects running water and stores both the new water flow amount and another number is the cumulative amount when you start and stop putting water through it. Perfect design! I have two of these - one for fresh water and the other for black tank flush and fill. With RVs and campers you don't want to carry extra water because its heavy! So I need this to partially fill the fresh water tank for use while driving until the next stop. A black tanks best friend is water which should always be in the black tank to keep everything from drying into a solid and not flushing. The rule of thumb is to always have at least 10% of the tank capacity in the black tank although I vote for 15%. So at the end of a flush and departing a campground I make sure I have water in my black tank to slosh around while in motion and in storage. The only way to measure this without running through your camper with a water bucket or keeping your foot on the toilet flush pedal is to use this flow meter. Of course if you double flush your black tank when you depart a campground this is also indispensable. Very handy!

Not sure if it's accurate

We have a 60 gallon water bladder and chose to buy this meter to make sure we weren't under/ overfilling the bladder. The place we were getting water from was consistently charging us 5+ gallons less than we were reading on this meter.

Después de un tiempo de uso se descompuso

Bueno, es arbitrario decir poco tiempo de uso, pero puedo decir que quizá unas 20 veces fué lo que me funcionó bien, y luego se me descompuso. Ya no mide el flujo, prende, pero no es funcional, no realiza la función que se espera de éste dispositivo, que es medir un flujo. No lo golpee, no considero le di un uso rudo, etc. No volvería a comprar éste producto debido a la falta de calidad en duración.

Fonctionne bien

J'utilise cet article pour calculer la quantité d'eau que je met dans un réservoir de véhicule récréatif. Le volume semble précis, mais les instructions sont incomplètes tel sur comment remettre le compteur à zéro.

Only use if you have crystal clear water

It works, unless you have any sediment in your water at all. Any sediment plugs it, and you can’t get any kind of reading. I can’t seem to find a way to clean any sediment out therefore the turbine doesn’t spin and no reading comes through. It worked for about three uses and then it stopped.

Works for what I need

This meter seemed to be working fine at most flow rates, but did notice that at a very slow rate for about half an hour, it did not change at all, so there does seem to be some bypass. I would have expected it to show a change of 8 to 10 liters.
