Works great; breaks easily

Be careful: do no use high torque drill. It grabbed hard onto the pipe, and my drill torque setting was too high. The tool broke on the first use.

Buenísima herramienta

Está herramienta me a salido muy buena y resistente ya que la de 3/4" no, pero está le doy 5 que es el máximo aquí sino le daba 10

Great product if used correctly

The product seems thin and easy to break, I went through and read the review and I didn't want to purchase it, but I figured it might be user error for the most part. Using the review I stopped myself from using it on an impact drill. I used mine on a regular drill and I don't have a problem with it. Works great, purchased another one and bought the three piece hand set. Been using them for over a month now and I still don't have a problem with them. Even though the product seems cheap, I dont think I can go back to sand cloth. Saves so much time and I will continue to purchase more when I need them.

Absolute garbage!

Didn't even clean one fitting before it broke. Literally, lasted 7 seconds before it broke! Absolute garbage. Waist of time and money. Can't imagine how this company could even sell such a terrible product.

Don't throwaway your sanding cloth just yet

The power tube cleaning brush does a great job with new copper, quick and easy. This only issue I have is working with older used pipes. We all know that old solder can be a pain to remove, so don't throw away your sanding cloth yet. Will continue to use and I'm glad I purchased as it does save a lot of time over cleaning every pipe by hand.

epoxy the "breaky points" first

I bought this product with a little risk as I saw a lot of other reviews complaining about if breaking under torque so I made sure just to put a little epoxy (I use JB weld but you could use whatever) around the spindle to housing.... basically the whole exterior back side, before using and it's been wonderful for the last 6 weeks. Definitely past the break even point and worth it.

Would not recommend

I used this 2 times, the second time it came apart and broke. It did a great job when it worked, but I have only had it for 2 days and it's now garbage. Update I put red lock tight on the entire piece, see pic. Seems to be what this tool needs.

Broke in first few uses--nut sheared through plastic

This item broke in first couple of uses. I did not return it, but have used it by hand, really defeats the purpose. I would not recommend this product.

Plastic casing cracked open on first use

Looks like a very useful tool, but on the very first use it somehow "jammed" on the pipe (yes, I did rotate it in the right, clockwise direction), and the plastic casing simply cracked open under the resulting torque from the drill. The 1/4" bit is now at an angle from the casing. I can sort of still use it manually, but not with my drill (it wobbles a lot, and would likely break open what is left of the plastic casing). Very expensive for a single use (!), I'm back to elbow grease.

Useful but They break and wear out very fast , I try couple times with the same results , if they ever make a better quality one im in.

broke on the first use

the part secured onto the shank is too weak and it broke on first use. the shank torn open the tool and came off. it is even worse because the shank stuck in the impact drill and now i can not use my drill! didn't get a chance to try the 3/4" one yet but not expecting any good result from it.
