The metal is somewhat thin.

Not Packaged for Shipping Properly

If you use this product, you know it's a thin metal plate. Mine came packaged in just a plastic sleeve. Not the kind with padding. It lacked any protection so it arrived dented. The product is excellent. I would give it 5 stars. The way this company packed, I'm surprised it wasn't more dinged up.

This shim was as good as the original. I wish they were a little thicker so they were not as easily dented.

I think it is vwery helpful to get a great cut. I have used mine so much it is cupped and wrinkled. I need to replace it. I have had this original metal sheet for a couple of years.

Purchased for a large Bira machine, fits well however it is so flimsy! Dies imprint on surface which transfers to paper with successive dies. Ended up having to use under bottom plate as a very expensive shim...which curls up after running thru. I have a lawn fawn metal plate for a smaller format machine which I've had for over five years with not one imprint and doesn't bend. Wish they made a large format...this GEMINI plate is JUNK!

Gemini Maschinen TOP, alle Platten sind ein Graus

Fünf Sterne für die elektr. Gemini Maschinen, ein Stern, für ALLE notwendigen Platten. Leider! Alle Platten sind für mich eine Katastrophe und verursachen unnötige, hohe Zusatzkosten, die sich über das Jahr erheblich summieren. Alle Platten, auch die Gummi-/ Magnet- und Metallplatten sind hoch empfindlich und anfällig für starke Verformungen. Tiefe Schnitteindrücke und Deformierungen, beginnen schon mit der ersten Anwendung und verstärken sich extrem, so dass ein Ersatzkauf notwendig wird. Die Platten lassen sich durch die schnelle Abnutzung / starke Deformierung nicht mehr benutzen wenn man nicht Schäden an der Maschine riskieren möchte. Eine Rückbildung der Verformungen, an den Platten, habe ich bisher durch nichts erreichen können. Wäre wünschenswert wenn diese Firma, das lange, bekannte und ständig bemängelte Plattenproblem, endlich lösen würde. Leider habe nicht nur ich, sondern viele Nutzer, diese negative Erfahrungwerte machen müssen. Schönreden wäre in diesem speziellen Fall, der Platten, leider negativ

Für cut'n boss eigentlich ungeeignet, schade

Material ist super, aber leider ist die Platte für den Vorgänger der Gemini - cut'n boss - einen halben Zentimeter zu breit. Da es anscheinend für die alte Maschine keine Platten mehr gibt, hat mir mein Mann den 1/2 cm abgeschnitten.

Unerlässlich

Die Metallplatte braucht man unbedingt für ein hervorragendes Stanzergebnis mit der Gemini Stanzmaschine. Sie ist ein "Verbrauchsmaterial", deshalb kaufe ich immer gleich mehrere auf einmal.
