Fantastic color
I've been a Chi user for decades and finally needed to replace my old flat iron. I went with the hot pink and the color didn't disappoint! I found one side to get warmer than the other (my fingers felt the heat on the outside of the iron).

Short cord that never untangles
I love the actual hair straightener; it's definitely up to Chi standards. One exception: The cord is shorter than my first Chi & will not straighten out no matter how many times I uncurl it. This makes the cord even shorter & it barely reaches the top back part of my head. Hence, the 4 star rating. I do love that it heats fast (30 secondsish) & even has blinking light to let you know it's still heating. I also love the variable temperature option & especially appreciate the auto turn off feature. The cord definitely is a disappointment from the Chi company.

Defective and disappointed.
Bought and used for just over two months when one of the heating plates stopped working. Couldn’t return to Amazon as it was past 60 days. Instead I was directed to CHI and though it’s under warranty I have to pay to have it shipped from the East coast of Canada to Texas in the US in order for it to be repaired or replaced. The cost of shipping is ridiculous and hardly worth the turnaround time I’d have to wait for it to be shipped, assessed and shipped back. Not really sure who to be disappointed with, Amazon or Chi, maybe both? But disappointed either way.

Classic CHI Quality, Less than Ideal Hardware
The cord on this is much much shorter than my old black CHI, making it better suited to home use vs if you are a pro artist serving clients. I also often find that the temperature dial inadvertently gets turned down by you fingers as you naturally maneuver the iron, and you don’t realize until you’re like “why isn’t this curling?!”, so it can slow you down. Would recommend a CHI iron with button controls for temperature. Otherwise, functions as the best of CHIs. Worth the money, but will likely retire from my pro kit sooner and reserve for home use.

So glad I upgraded to a Chi
I had been using generic flat irons from Marshalls/Winners since I was young. I felt like no matter how many passes I did, my straightened hair would eventually start to look wavy as the day went on. I decided to finally bite the bullet and buy a Chi. This thing is amazing! My hair stays straight until I wash it next. Just don't leave it too long on one spot or it'll cause a crease. It takes me 15 minutes to fully straighten my long hair and I don't have to do multiple passes. Would highly recommend this product if you're looking for a new flat iron.

Tenía mucha duda de realizar mi primer pedido , pues tenía miedo de q no llegara y la verdad woooaaaaooo me llegó una semana antes de lo previsto y la plancha está increíble, la super recomiendo , calienta rápido , plancha hermoso y muy ligera, mi pelo es largo , grueso, algo rizado y me lo dejo de babita .. nunca me había quedado mi pelo así de increíble y LACIO.

Just what I wanted!
Great product! Easy to use, heats up super fast and is a trusted brand. I was really impressed by the price and how well it works. I like the simple design, it doesn't have any displays or other extra features that could break on me. I use it every day!
