Works great.

My only complaint was the lid is a bear to remove. Otherwise it works great. Small enough to hold a lot of food and to place in it a smaller area if needed.

Has a wide opening to pour in cat food...avoids spills when you replenish. Sturdy, won't easily tip over. Large enough that you don't have to refill so often. Perfect for multiple cats.

Finally the dachshund can't make a mess

We have two small dogs. One is a dachshund mix, the other is a poodle mix. Neither weigh over 15 pounds. Before we got the dachshund we just used an old style feeding bowl for the poodle, but after the dachshund came along, the food started disappearing a lot faster. I'm going to tell you what I have learned about these gravity-type feeders. Before having these little two dogs, I had a full-blooded chow-chow who lived nearly 14 years. He absolutely hated these feeders. And hated the watering ones even more. He was a fairly big chow-chow, about 85 pounds, picture of health. It was pretty simple to see that his big furry head had trouble getting his face down in these types of feeders. The watering one didn't release enough water for him to drink. I ended up buying him a big pan to put his hard food in and a large open water bucket. I would recommend those for anyone with dogs bigger than medium size. This feeder earns its five stars. I love dogs as much as anyone does, but these two small dogs we have now are the only indoor dogs I've ever had. They are both messy. I don't mean with potty issues or anything like that, but I mean with eating and drinking. The dachshund is especially messy. He pushes the food out of most feeder's bowls. He then plays with the food. Then he gets mad at the poodle for drinking "his" water and shoves the watering apparatus so it spills. This feeder stops him from doing it. We had bought a cheap feeder and watering bottle at a department store. The fault lies in the depth of the bowl. Not how deep it is or how much it holds, but the distance from the spout of the bottle to the bottom of the bowl. Then you take into consideration how wide the opening is. The cheap one we had bought allowed too much food to come out, kind of gave an avalanche impression. Dachshund had a field day with it. Not so with this one. The spout opening isn't near as big as other feeders I've used and the bowl is far enough away from the spout that it doesn't allow the food to pile up. Having said that as a very positive feature, it's most likely why other people are having problems with the food not coming out without a nudge. If you have a dog or dogs that likes to make a mess with food, this is the perfect feeder for them. I don't know much about the microban, but we wash our feeder and watering bottle weekly. Not surprisingly, I paid pretty much the same price for the cheap feeder as this one. In comparison, this one is worth its price easily. Also bought a watering bottle by the same company, review in my history.

Great price*Decent item*Poorly packaged I feed several outdoor kitties outside my home and have hated refilling the bowls each morning. I decided to try this gravity feeder along with the waterer. I previously purchased larger ones from a different company for a much steeper price and love it. I wanted the same feel for less money and went with these. For the price, you really do get a great deal. It serves the purpose I needed for sure. Packaging: This item, along with the waterer, were tossed in a large box, way too big for what these were. There was hardly any protection and the items got tossed about. One even came detached from it's base. Thankfully nothing broke but it was poorly packaged nonetheless. Item: I purchased the smaller sized feeder since I have minimal space outside. Setting this up with the waterer fit perfectly. The colors on the bases were nice and the plastic seemed sturdy enough. The price is great and does what you will need it to do. The opening of the base is a decent enough size that the outdoor cats have used it and its low enough that smaller animals can probably eat from it as well ifyou have another type of pet at home. Cons: Only have 2 minor complaints really. 1- I really have with the feeder is that the top doesn't lock in too well to the base. If you shift it in the slightest it falls out. There were no directions, but its not rocket science. I tried screwing it in and out several times to be sure I was doing it correctly. I was. It just doesn't sit well no matter what I try, Could be because it fell out and jostled around during shipping. 2- Although a gravity feeder, it doesn't really flow that easily or naturally when the base has been eaten. You kind of have to shift the whole unit forward to get the food to come back out the bottom. It's a little annoying because it defeats the purpose but it still saves on time for me and with the price, I tend to overlook it. Bottom Line: Worth it. Great price and does what you need with minimal effort.

2 worked 1 did not work . Leaked horrible ! I returned got another one it leaks .i emailed the company . No response.I guess im sending this one back to . I was hoping they could tell me to do something different .i tried everything

Works well but the top just barely screws on to the base, must be careful when filling or moving it or it comes apart and food goes everywhere.

Tge feeder is very easy to use. Easy to fill. Exactly what I needed.

Poor design and unreliable

We use the Whiskers dry cat food and every few days the bowl part is empty and the food doesn't drop down, even though Whiskers are very tiny crunchies. The product also looks quite ugly and the bowl is oversized for a cat. You have to twist the barrel part to remove it from the base for cleaning, but it is quite awkward and the release mechanism is a bit random, you just twist and pull at random until it comes out. There is another flaw in that under the ramp there is a hollow area that small crunchies can fall into - the white bowl actually has top and bottom parts and to get the food out you need to use a flathead screwdriver to release the clips around the inside edge of the bowl; it's ridiculous. For 2 cats when filled up it lasts approximately 2 weeks, but you'd have to be there to shake it every few days.

This feeder is exactly what I expected, it’s great for a large dog, and fits the larger biscuits including the moist ones.

Huge Pet Food Feeder

Classic online purchase....... I was not expecting this to be so big, its huge! Holds over 8kg of food. Fantastic value for money. I brought this for cat food, so it doesn't flow very well but a quick shake resolves that issue.

Best storage volume and price around. Unfortunately, my dogs keep chewing the edge which connects the lid to the base making the feeder unusable.
