Almost Perfect
The only thing that keeps me from rating this 5 stars out the gate is that it clogs very easily even with finely ground reef mix and/or powders. I opened up the end of the hole a bit and after some trial and error I got it to the point of perfectly being acceptable for my use. The little red needle could use more "stick" or "locking" if that makes sense. When going into the tank with something small like a piece of shrimp, if you accidentally tap a rock or sand bottom the stick will retract and you could potentially lose your food to the non-targeted creatures. Another thing to be careful of is that if you have a minor clog at the opening that you do NOT continue to squeeze the bulb thinking you will shoot out the contents. I did this while cleaning it and it shot the feeder apart and it has never been the same sense. If you are careful and are very deliberate in your use and application you will be OK. For thsoe that like to just "get it and go" I advise you take your time and use caution.

It works good enough to get the job done
Im giving it 5 stars on build quality alone, the hole at the end is too small but I drilled it out and it works fine now. It will squirt water out of it when you collapse it in but simply squeeze out the water before you do no big deal. My tank is 30 inches deep and it made life alot easier feeding corals I place at the bottom of the tank

Good, but falls apart easily.
This is a nice little tool for reaching inside the tank and getting at stuff or delivering small food, but not without its flaws. 1. It falls apart. Literally the entire thing is held together by friction. Sometimes when trying to extend it, the small tube comes out of the little rubber plunger, and you have to disassemble the whole thing to get it all back together. Other times, the little plunger sticks and then slips free but you're pulling so hard that it pops the end cap off. 2. The little poker thing would be much more useful if it were metal, sharp, and stayed in place. I'm not sure its intended use, but for stabbing and removing uneaten food it is no good as it is blunt and just slides back in. All in all, I'd love to see a more general purpose version of this tool with swappable attachments. E.g. a little cup that catches what i suck up (e.g. for snail removal), different sized dropper attachments, some useful tool for poking and removing things from the tank, perhaps something to help planting plants (e.g. something to push plants into soil).

Great bottom or spot feeder.
We use this for feeding an Elephant Nose, Ghost Knife, ZigZag and Peacock Eels that like to hang out in the bottom of our tank. This has no problem sucking up blood worms and has made feeding a lot easier. It also has a small toothpick size "bayonet" on the end that has come in useful for beef heart, and even getting out dead fish. I originally gave this a 5-Star rating but have demoted it to 4. The rubber stopper that is supposed to slide up and down as the tube is extended started to come off easily. We have to frequently re-attach. Not that big of deal, just take a pencil and shove it on to where it is supposed to be. Still recommend for spot feeding or bottom dwellers.

A must have
This thing is great! Good bye turkey baster! One of my tanks is 30" deep. It was always a task to reach corals near the bottom. Target feeding has become a breeze. The first reason didnt give it 5 stars is that when squirting the slightest release of the bulb pretty much fills the entire tube back up with tank water. Not that big of a deal but if you are feeding reef snow it dillutes it so the concentrate hitting the coral isnt as strong. I guess that should be expected considering the length of the tube but it is by far no reason to avoid buying this thing. I bought this over the flexible tube feeder simply because of the price. The second reason I gave it 4 stars is, the outlet is very small so you will have trouble spot feeding anything larger than mysis.

Was Great Until It Broke After 8 or So Uses
I'm new to saltwater aquariums and just purchased and installed my system in Jan 2021. I also purchased this feeder unit in Jan of 2021 in anticipation of its need down the line. I got this particular feeder because my tank is 24" tall and I needed a long feeder for any corals I would put in my tank. I didn't start buying corals until the Mar 2021. And I didn't start using the feeder until Apr 2021- after I figured out what to supplementally feed my corals. I used the feeder only about 8 times and it worked great. It's May 2021 and today when I extended the feeder's inside tube waiting for it to tighten against the outside tube. But it didn't. It just fell out. I can't determine what held it in before and now the item is useless. It should have lasted longer than 8 or so uses. I am pissed.

Great to keep your hands out of the tank!
Package and delivery was exceptional. Feeder seems to be built fairly well and the options to extend and have the pin for larger object feeding is a nice piece. Easy to control and makes it great for keeping hands out of the water during feeding. Only drawbacks I can add is that the small hole on the tip is just slightly too small to feed mysis shrimp. It works well for brine and small form foods but mysis get stuck being sucked up and sometimes coming back out as well. The smaller tube doesn't seem to clean out very well on rinse but that can be addressed with pipeclears

My absolute favorite coral feeding tool
I love this feeder. It's by fat the best one I've ever used. It's easy to use for feeding corals, strong enough to blow detritus off my rocks, and simple to rinse out after use. My only complaint is that the hole in the tip is just a bit too small. It can't suck up frozen mysid shrimp. I had to drill out the tip to make it just a little larger. Other than that it simply couldn't be better. Thankfully it isn't difficult to improve at home. I don't know how I kept tanks for 16 years without it. 2+ Year Update: The feeder is still going strong. As long as you drill out the hole in the tip you can blast whatever size food you like to use. It's still never given me any trouble.
