Be careful of spring
I like this product, it is great since I have two dogs who are drinking water over filling a bowl once or twice a day. The only issue is the cap has a spring part on the outside of it and it became dislodged once but I was able to put it back together.

Simple, works well.
For my cats I always have a feeder availalbe for the with aa mixture of 4 or 6 differnt brands and flavors for them. Or pets are wild animals, not that long ago their natural instinct is to eat when ever food it available. Their instinct is not to eat on a schedule like we do now. Up until the industrial revolution even we humans did not have an eating schedule that conformed to a factory time table. By having food always available and water available thee cats will eat many times a day but will never gorge, it will only eat a morsel at a tine and which ever flavor it feels like at that moment. "Do you want to eat exactly the same thing everyday, day after day." , Most normal people want varity. This way my cats are never anxious about food and they are health and well fed. Beside if i am late coming home at meal time they will not go hungry. That's takes the stress and anxiety out of getting food. Fyi. Don't keep the food and water at the same place Spread the water out, different places to make them hunt for it. In the wild food and water is never in the place unless they are an alligator or a shark. I.have three cat water fountains. One in the kitchen, basement and utility room. No matter what door my be closed there will be water available.

Cats
Holds a lot of food. But the food doesn’t flow down by itself. I have seen the can paw at it because it won’t come down. So I have to dig the food down ever day

The wide opening on the food feeder makes it easy to pour into.
The food feeder has a nice wide lid and opening which makes it easy to just pour more food into the feeder from the bag. The water feeder does not have any handle built into it and I found it a bit difficult to hold under my Berkey water filter to fill. Everyone in my household drinks Berkey filtered water...even my plants. I did not take off any points for not having a built-in handle. For the price, it looks and works great for medium to small pets.

Worked until the spring disappeared
Is there a replacement “spring” available??? The spring that helps to dispense the water. I can’t use it until I find one.

Good quality plastic, well thought out design.
I've had this delivered today and I'm already keen to post a review on it. I'm pleased to say it's not cheap plastic. It's very sturdy even on carpet. It doesn't leak because there's a valve that only releases the water when you've put the base in place and pushed the bottle right in to the notch on the bottom. It doesn't fill too near the top of the bowl either. I'm really happy with my purchase and price wise I'd say it was about right at fourteen ninety nine. My cat as you can see was fascinated by it, hopefully she will actually drink from it. My review is based on the product quality and function itself rather than as I've seen in another review bizzarely, someone rating it down because their Maine Coons didn't like it. This item is a must for the hotter months to make sure of an adequate supply. I can imagine how helpful it will be for going on holiday too.

Brilliant water feeder for my mogs
I purchased two of these back in April to replace the existing (and cheap) ones I bought elsewhere a years ago. And after a few months, I can safely say they have been a great purchase. Large, clear water storage bottle (similar to those we find in office water fountains... just not as big, obviously! ;) ), and a sturdy base to hold said bottle with a good sized bowl for the water to pool into. It's easy to use, just give the whole thing, bottle and base a good wash when you first receive it. Make sure you unscrew the valve/cap that is on the water bottle, and screw it back on when you've filled it up with cold water. It doesn't matter which way you attach the bottle to the base, either by lowering the bottle down on the base/bowl, or by having the bottle upright (the cap/valve upwards) and putting the base/bowl upside down, and by placing it down over the bottle neck. Whichever way you do it, just make sure the bottle seats correctly, you should feel it clunk into place, and the bottle will seat equally all the way round on the base. If it doesn't and looks uneven, you've not clipped it on correctly. Now turning to cost. I bought these two for £12.99 each in April (which is why I've give 5 stars for value for money) and they're now currently at £14.89. I'm sorry, but this is grossly unfair that within a matter of weeks, these have increased by £1.90 each which is a whopping 15% increase. This happens a lot with Amazon, and it's becoming very noticable. If Jeff Bezos (owner and CEO of Amazon) wants to become the world's first Trillionaire (currently Net worth: 166.3 billion USD (2020)), that's a thousand BILLION, then with price increases like this, he will do before very long, BUT not with my help! Start treating your customer with fairness and respect, and stop being so greedy!

Doesn't work for our cat
We bought this for our cat. The cat usually drinks from a pint glass on the floor, which was prone to bring kicked over, so we bought this to avoid spillages, with the expectation that we'd only have to refill it once a week or so. It's fine, does what you'd expect, is very stable, and if you do somehow manage to kick it over, only the water in the bowl will likely spill. The problem for us is the amount of water in the bottle is way too much for our little cat. She really doesn't drink enough from the bowl for the bottle to refresh the bowl regularly enough. So what ends up happening is the water in the bowl gets stale or dirty before hardly any of the water from the bottle had been used, and you end up having to clean out the water from the bowl with a full bottle attached. Which is a bit awkward and feels like it defeats a major selling point of the product. So it doesn't work for us. That said, if you have a small dog, or a few cats, then this might work well for you.

Good Investment
Product seems well made. The fitting on the bottle stays watertight until its positioned on the bowl, so no mess is made when refilling. This should last my dog several days rather than the traditional bowl that would evaporate quickly. I've included a picture with a pop can for size reference.

Very pleased, could probably feed and water multiple dogs.
The media could not be loaded. Food bowl is very easy to fill up and lasts ages with a single dog. Water bowl works very well and lasts ages, you will need to clean the bowl more than refill the bottle. It's great that you can take the bottle off without it spilling. I have found that the gasket on the plunger can stick which leads to slow filling of the bowl but you can just fiddle with it easy enough.
