Wonderful! Cat loves it!
Love this! Had to buy this house after the community cat I feed grew too plump to fit through the entry of his Kitty Tube. Very easy to assemble-it arrives with 2 pieces. This is very thick plastic & quite sturdy. The place the 2 pieces fit together needs to be completely taped up (I used black gorilla tape) or it will leak. I also taped over the vent in the back & a couple of mold holes. To further waterproof it, I placed it on top of 12-inch paving stones AND a plastic litter box mat. I then put a tarp over it. (I have a bunch of extra self-heating pads so I put one underneath to cushion it and a couple more on top for drafts.) I also lined it with insulation (the kind that looks like bubble wrap with a reflective surface on both sides) which I secured with double-stick tape and more black gorilla tape. Kitty loves his house! I put a self-warming bed inside that I also bought on Amazon. The house I bought was for up to 15 pounds. I estimate the cat is 13-15 pounds and he plus his big fluffy bed fit in the house just fine. He has room to turn around easily.

Great for outdoor Cats!
This little house is great for a couple or a few outdoor cats, maybe up to 3 can fit decently snuggling together inside if they're not that big, I insulated it with some silver foil insulation stuff that's 18" wide but I made sure the entire inside is covered with the insulation and I might double the insulation soon potentially and I put a small blue tarp from Harbor Freight covering the entire bottom and I just put the top over the bottom but I insulated the entire inside including inside the top half as others have done here on Amazon and Youtube and their videos and reviews helped me a lot but there's a tarp just covering the bottom half basically In case they sneeze or have any accidents inside it will go on the tarp on the bottom half which will be much easier to clean then the insulation that I installed which should help but these little Barn Homes are pretty awesome for small dogs or cats but it would be a great idea to insulate them to help keep your pets warmer in the winter especially but even potentially cooler in the summer as well I believe but especially to help keep them warmer at night in the winters and I like this house so much I might even later on get the one size slightly bigger that's actually $2 cheaper which is strange but this one is a great size for small dogs or cats, it's not very tall so it fits nicely in small spaces and it seems to be built well but the top and bottom don't really go together very firmly which is basically one of my only criticisms of it because if you try to pick it up just grabbing the top half it will literally come apart and I wished they would have some kind of better insulation built in already but they don't really do that for almost all animal houses it appears unless you pay for a much more expensive kitty tube it appears so because of the fact that it doesn't really stay together and it doesn't really come with very good insulation really I'm going to give it 4 stars out of 5 but I still recommend it for sure.

Top does NOT securely attach to bottoms!
We have several feral cats living in our backyard and for the winter we need additional housing to fill with straw. Unfortunately, these great houses DO NOT snap together to stay connected! My husband have to use small screws to secure the top and bottom together. Thankfully we live in So Cal where our winters do not include snow, but the temperatures do drop to the mid-to-high 30's at night. Nice that the vinyl is thick and not just thin plastic! We bought 3 xtra small and 3 small, adding them to our two existing "dog houses" we bought last year. These kitties, although from the same families, do not like to sleep together! Now we wait for our straw to be delivered~

Ok except.....
This is a good product if the two halves fitted together like they should. There are tabs that should snap into place as the top is put on the bottom. The one I received does not snap together. It's like one of the two pieces is splayed out. I'm not too concerned though. I can drill through the two pieces and install a zip tie to fix them together.

I use this for an out side stray and I insulated the inside with card board panels and put in a warm fleece blanket and then covered it all with a tarp. It is four feet off of the ground next to the house. Worth the money and have purchased three

Doest fit together well, top easily comes off
Doest fit together well, top easily comes off doesn't snap well together snaps dont hold and top falls off if moved or bumped. However made of good material and durable. if only it fit together better and maybe had something on the bottom with hole to let moisture drain out especially when rain blows into it.

It works for it's purpose
I purchased this for an outside (semi) feral cat (that story is long) But.. As far as this product doing what I wanted it to do, I am very happy. I wanted the cat to have a place to go where it felt safe. (I was happily surprised at how well he accepted it). It was easy to assembly. The 4 grooves (2 on each side) "clipped" together with no problem (not waterproof in my opinion) It stays in place. I can pick it up and move it as a whole unit, no problem. I can see where some people would have an issue, because the "clip" of the top to bottom could be wonky. I (luckily) did not have that issue. . WATERPROOF - NO I have this on a very small porch under an awning, where I usually feed the cat. There is no issue of water where I have this now. But, given it's construction, I would not put it outside in the elements. If you are even barely handy, you could purchase some type of "tape" to put around the gaps and make it waterproof if you wanted to. But out of the box, no, not waterproof. I lined the top of the unit with thin foam insulated reflective tape for heat reflection and warmth. I did not insulate the bottom. I put a thick (furniture moving) blanket, folded many times, on the bottom. I did purchase a very cheap self warming cat 'blanket' to put in on top of the blanket (padding). He loves it. He was in it the first day. I didn't expect that. For a cat that is not really humanized, it was nice. I do recommend if you have a cat, or even small dog, that you are trying to give shelter to.

I was so looking forward to using this....
...Even though I waited FIVE days on Prime! When it arrived the roof is much to big for the bottom. (see photos). When one side snaps in the other side is open. Cant find an option to speak with the seller, which is a good thing because for the price, this should fit and with Prime I should have received in TWO days. Am I now expected to carry this huge box to a post office?! My hands are in splints so I dont drive and taxis are expensive. Can we get someone to pick up either the top or bottom and replace just the part that does not fit? If anyone from Petmate is out there, could you please contact me. Amazon, I can not understand your customer service agents powerful accents!

Perfect for outdoor cat.
I’m really impressed with this product. It came quickly and was extremely easy to assemble. Nice and sturdy as well. I added some hay and put it outside for our feral cat to use. She really enjoys it! I’m happy she has shelter from the cold now

Excelente producto
La casita llegò en tiempo y forma, venia muy bien empacada y el armado fue facil, se ve de muy buena calidad, protege muy bien a mis mascotas de la lluvia, ah pasado ya por varias tormentas, cuidar que la entrada quede resguardada porque de otra manera se puede inundar si la lluvia le cae en direccion hacia adentro.

No es funcional en epocas de lluvia
El material se ve muy resistente y es facil de armar pero en epocas de lluvia debido a que no es hermetica las uniones, la lluvia se filtra y al final se moja adentro.
