Get your hot glue gun ready...
Overall this is a big improvement from the previous floor. However, there are a couple of things to note: The instructions state to start in the center of the room and move outward towards the edges. The issue here is that if you step or kneel on a placed tile there's a good chance the tile will slightly shift. So you need to keep an out out for that as you work. Many of the tile corners did not stick well and needed to be glued down, I used my hot glue gun. Smaller edge pieces needed to be completely glued down. The back adhesive is very sticky but it left a black residue on the finished floor. I had to spot clean the floor with a small amount of WD-40 on a paper towel to get the residue off. Create a paper pattern for the pieces you need to cut to fit around edges, etc. Trace the paper pattern on the tile and cut to size. This worked like a charm. Once all the tiles were cleaned and glued down well, I went back over the seams with white DAP waterproof caulk. I filled the seams and then went over the edges with a damp cloth to remove any excess caulk. This is an inexpensive fix to an old bathroom floor however it does take hours of work.

Alterative Use
I had purchased these tiles in black 10 years ago for my kitchen floor and used the remainder for the countertops. They were easy to install and cut, as the counter also includes a double kitchen sink. They worked perfectly. Easy to wipe clean through daily use. Ten years later, when I wanted to change the from a retro look to pure white, I used a glue gun at high heat and easily removed them and installed the same tiles in white. Easy as pie to remove as the adhesive "melted" away. Now in white, I love the look.

Floor Tiles and Service exceeded my expectations
Well, I had researched new tile for our kitchen on the WWW. There was a wide range of products available at a wide range of prices. The tile we choose was the white tile referenced here and a matching black tile.Black White Checkerboard Self Stick Vinyl Floor Tiles 10015 Home Dynamix - 1 Box Covers 20 Sq. Ft. . The product was to be furnished to us by a company called "DYNAMIX", a "Amazon" partner, whom I did not know. In the process of ordering, we decided to purchase an extra box of tile for each color for future use in case of damage or other future issues unknown. The tile arrived on time, and was easy to lay. No problems, no issues. All was good. Floor looked beautiful! But as you can imagine, accidents happen. About 6 months after the floor was installed, I was just removing a hot 6" x 9" glass pan from the oven and dropped it. It seems like it was in slow motion, as I tried to catch it, but needless to say it hit the side of the kitchen sink, and then shards hit the new tile floor damaging it. My wife heard the commotion and came running in and was heartsick to see that her beautiful new tile floor now had cuts in a few of the tiles. "Not to worry", says I, "Remember we ordered extra, and I will replace them". Mr Hero. I went to the storage area where the boxes of extra floor tiles were stored, and opened the white box all prepared to fix my terrible mistake. However, as I removed the first tile, I noticed that is was flawed, discolored. "Oh, Oh" I thought, "I hope they all are not this way". But they were. I was disheartened to think that I now would have to buy another box of tiles, because it had been way past the time for returns and problem solving. However, I thought I would contact the dealer, "DYNAMIX", through "Amazon" and explain the issue to see if anything could be done. To my great surprise, once "DYNAMIX" understood what had happened, they sent me a replacement box at their expense including the freight. Can you imagine a vendor doing that? Well I am astounded at their generosity and customer care. You know, I really trust "Amazon" based on my now 10 year experience with them, and that trust is so much enhanced when a vendor like "DYNAMIX" does for me the customer what in fact they did not have to do. Kudos to "DYNAMIX" and to "Amazon". By the way, the new tiles have arrived, in perfect condition and no flaws, and I will be replacing the damaged one as a surprise to my wife this weekend. Thank you Amazon and Thank you 'DYNAMIX"

Liquid Nails, people, Liquid Nails
Going with the cons first: obviously, the adhesive sucks. I tested one tile on a clean, dry, flat, horizontal surface. Laid the tile down, waited an hour--the tile easily peeled right back up. I then weighted it with a one-gallon jug of water, waited 24 hours--still peeled up. Replaced the water jug, waited a week--no go. The next "con": if you're going to be using this for floors, it had better be for a Barbie Dream House. These tiles are super thin and fragile. The composite layer is brittle, and the finish layer is paper-thin. These would never hold up to even light foot traffic. Con #3: I don't think these tiles are perfectly square--I found it difficult to line them up without an obvious seam. So, you ask, why give them a three-star review? Well, my project involved putting them on the kitchen walls above my cabinets, so I knew I was going to use Liquid Nails anyway. Because the tiles are thin, they were easy to cut using kitchen scissors. They are a beautiful bright white, which reflects the lamplight and makes that area less murky. The shiny finish makes it easy to wipe clean with a damp microfiber cloth, which was an improvement over the walls themselves.

Wont stick on unpainted drywall
Its easy to install, a peeloff paper to remove. Its not a professional finish. So dont use this if you want pro-grade-looking wall or floor. Not sure if i would put this on the floor. While i installed mine on my bathtub wall, they were gliding a bit . But it was freshly installed, so maybe the glue hardens with time. I used some transparent silicone between the cracks. As you can see, the color is grey. Not white. My floor and bathtub are white. I ordered the white one. This makes it loose a solid star.

Please read the reviews before buying!
The media could not be loaded. I read all the reviews and thought people were just bad at installing tile. Wrong! They are all true! First of all, the tiles are paper thin, they look super cheap, the corners curl up and don’t stick (even after putting weights on for an entire night), they slide around and after 24 hours, I could easily lift them up. Many tiles were damaged. Waisted $250 because I had to remove the old floor before putting in the new and the return window is now closed. I also read the the white tiles have a slight blue tint and that is also true but I didn’t mind as my kitchen is blue. DO NOT BUY!

Good enough.
These are easy to install and work well enough, but they could adhere better. Still, worth the money and they'll do. We used them in nest boxes for chickens. They seem to enjoy them.

Good value
If you want low cost tiles for a basement or the like, these are perfect. The value is excellent, they do the job, really easy to install. No retailer seems to carry these any more, I bought 2 packs to finish my basement
