Solved my water seepage issues!
Our patio door, which swings in, was the cause of water seeping into the basement when it rained hard. Water would flow down the door, then onto the threshold which does not have any way of draining except for down and into the basement. This drip cap seems to have fixed the issue. We only needed a small lip to get any water runoff to drip on the outside of the threshold where it could fall outside the house. This extends just far enough out to take care of this. Out of the box, it's a bit ugly, but I painted mine white to match the door

Does Its Job
This help deflect rain from getting under my door. Its made of aluminum so it was easy to cut to the exact size I need. All you need is a small leveler to make sure its straight. The holes are a bit bigger than the screws so you have some tolerance during install. Just make sure kts straight so water does not run to one side instead of deflecting all away from the door.

Installed Over Out-Swinging Door
It held the paint well and installed easily. It was the right size to fit over my door. The shape, design, and material seem fit for their purpose. I returned similar products that were damaged during shipping. It hasn't rained yet to test its function out, but I think it will be sufficient.

Life saver
When it rains sideways, rain would come through the cracks of our French doors. I added a bit a caulk when I installed them and have not had water deep through.

Does the job.
I was surprised how relatively sturdy this is. Installation went fine--i made my measurements and then trimmed it to length with a hacksaw. So far it's helping keep leakage from happening during big storms and is pretty solid. Overall a good buy as is similarly priced in brick and mortars.

Anyone with an outside door, ESPECIALLY A METAL DOOR, should also put this on!
10 years in, rain splattering against the metal door caused the bottom rubber "U" shaped sealer to retain water. Metal and plastic = no evaporation = RUST. If I had one of these deflectors in place I would have saved $250 for a new door! Is it east to install? Took less than 20 mins. Measure, measure again, cut once, screw in place. Major rain storm, rain pouring down door, not one drop hit the wooden sill. Opened the door, checked the wooden sill, dry as a bone. Removed the "u" shaped rubber sealer? NOT EVEN DAMP. Tip: Make sure you have a small metal hack saw for cutting and a good metal file to smooth cut end.

Window rain diverter
While these are designed for doors, I used them above older mobile home windows that tend to get direct rain. I installed them just before hurricane Ian with butyl tape/caulk and self-tapping roofing screws. Had them up in less than 5 minutes. My only complaint is limited to ordering 3 at a time. I want these on all my mobile home windows. Three more arrived today so I can finish the rest of my windows. Sorry I am not on my property so I can't include photo.

How the unit will work and not stab my foot upon opening the door.
It was sturdy, but the sharp edge is much to be desired. I included all of the order in this shipment and it's good as new. Didn't modify a thing. 3 pcs. shipped back for full refund.

Keeps the water away from door seam
Worked as expected. I wish I have drilled the holes a small bit higher, I would have saved myself some sanding of the threashold. Over all it is a sturdy drip cap and looks like it will last a long time.

Really nice
Bought two to put over the top of my camper trailer doors so rain running down the side misses the top edge. I cut to lenght and rounded the edges, work great.
