Fits older doors

Took alot of hunting to find one the right width and pattern. This one fit our very old door with original box hardware well and was reasonably priced.

worked like a charm

i had low expectations that this replacement piece would actually work on doors 25 yr old -- had ordered a backup solution because I thought there was no way-- i was so wrong - took longer to prepare the backup for return than to install 2 of these -- fit perfectly -- absolutely zero air leaking through either threshold now -- could not be more pleased with the result

Not a universal replacement

Be careful and pay attention to the edges, doesn't work with older thresholds -wrong edges so I can't use it.

Fit door shoe perfectly

This rather imperative part of the bottom door shoe somehow went missing--perhaps when door was painted last. Surprised to see it missing during the winter when I was checking for drafts, and found perfect replacement part. Had to take the door shoe off to wiggle this into place with pliers--just how the shoe was made, not issue with this product--and no more drafts! Door closes with satisfying seal.

Took less than a minute to replace.

Bought a house and the seal underneath the door was going bad. On both sides you could see light to the outside and it was wide enough a mouse could get in and I don’t like wasting my air conditioning so I looked and I wasn’t sure if I had to replace the entire door threshold but when I inspected my door closer I saw there was a track so it should be easy to replace... if I knew what this part was called in the first place, but I found this and all I had to do was pull out the old one with pliers and slid this one into place. Took less than a minute!

Buyer beware! Not a direct replacement!

BUYER BEWARE! Bought this to replace the “identical” seal on the bottom of my M-D u-shaped aluminum screw on under door seal (part 06155). Installation was super easy. Pulled the old one out, slid this in. Took less than 15 seconds. However when I shut the door there was now a very slight gap below the seal with light coming through. I pulled out this new “replacement” seal and laid it upside down on the ground next to the old one. Turns out the old one is slightly taller! I ended up running to the store to find an entire new door bottom and compared size through the packaging. Turns out the “full” unit seal was the same size as my old one, and both are bigger than this “replacement” one. Had to buy an entire new bottom $12 and then used the seal out of that. Maybe this won’t be a problem for you, but if your seal barely touches now, it won’t with the “replacement”!

Easy installation

This was a quick fix to a drafty front door. It took less than ten minutes to pry out the old sweep and and measure, cut and insert the new ones. Pricing was spot on, comparable to the local big box shop, but minus the lines and exposure.

Worked well

This was exactly what I was looking for. It was a little tricky to install. I was able to bend it to fit into the track under the door. It was a bit wider than I needed, but the material allowed for some leeway. For the price it was a good value. I cut a few inches off once installed.
