Easy to install and adjust

Loved it. At first, it was too hard to close the door after installing. Nice part about this product though, is that you can remove some of the wipes without tools once its already on the door. Just grab and peel one off. I peeled off 3 of the wipes and left just one. Now it works great for my door. My door had about 1/8" gap under it. If the gap were 1/4" the wipes could've been left on.

Works Well

This works as expected but it took somestruggling to get it on my door (very tight squeeze). Then, my door had to adjust to it because it was too big for the space. Over time, it accommodated and I'm glad I kept it on. This appears to have taken the draft away, and reassures me that a critter won't be squeezing it's way in to the house. Overall, I would have no problem recommending this!

So Easy to Install! Tight Fit! I love it!

Imagine my surprise when I walked into my laundry room and discovered it to be full of water from a clogged gutter spilling in front of my back door, flooding my house because my back door did not fit tightly enough to the door frame at the bottom. Sure the previous owners installed a storm door. But how can I keep a storm door shut when it's the only way my two princess pugs can get outside to empty their delicate bowels in lieu of using my kitchen floor? Storm door stays open. So I bought this thing hoping my single mom status would not keep me from effectively executing the monumentous repair job. It arrived quickly and was made of vinyl, not metal, to my surprise. I guess I didn't read well. After procrastinating a month for what would surely be another of my collosal failures in home repair, I just busted open the package and went to work. It slipped right onto my open door, so I made some marks on it with some scissors where I needed to cut it. I whipped out the old tin snips I smuggled from my ex before leaving him and went to work. They cut through this thing like butter. But nothing with any less heft would have done the job so well. Kitchen shears barely made a notch. Even my delicate accountant's hands handled this like a pro. I slipped it back on, lined it up, shut the door, made sure it was positioned as low as it would go on the door, then I screwed in each tiny screw into each hole with my Black and Decker electric "lady" screwdriver - I felt in a delicate mood, no need to pull out the big Dewalt. Each screw went into the door like butter. What a dream. The fit is sealed tight. I am so happy that now there will be fewer roached, spiders, mosquitos and rain gracing the inside of my house. This was once of my best buys ever.

Snug fit works perfectly

Ordered this to stop really bad drafts in my apartment. Super snug fit which made installation a bit of work but I didn't need to use screws since it fit so tight. Perfect for apartments where you can't damage the walls/doors with screws.

Serves the purpose when modified

This is the second door bottom I bought since I refinished my beautiful mahogany front door. There are a number of rubber strips that I had to cut out so the door would close. I started trimming one strip at a time and then trying the fit which was a pain in the neck but eventually it fit well and looks nice.

Measure door first

My door is an custom odd size, in width and thickness, so finding things (or even a replacement door) is incredibly difficult. I didn't measure the thickness of our door, and this strip was significantly too wide. The length was also an issue, but it was fairly easy to trim with a Dremel. Unfortunately the gap under the door was not large enough to allow for it to close. So once got it on, the door was stuck open. The product itself seems sturdy, and like it would work well if it fits, but unfortunately I did not have that experience.

This was easy to install and has lasted without any problem for a six months now.

didn't last long , waste of money.

Once it started to get colder the strips on the bottom started peeling back from the end and is already useless. The strips aren't very flexible. My old one was over 20 years old and was still flexible but wore out from many years of use.

Great generic replacement for my back door

My back door bottom sweep rubbers had failed twice, so rather than contacting the door manufacturer again, I ordered this sweep which was the right dimensions for my door. easy to install, cut to length and screw in. The seal is optimal, and though it hasn't been a long time to see whether the rubbers would fatigue early, so far it appears very durable. For the price, and my energy cost savings I already feel like I haven't gone wrong on this purchase.
