Love this fan control switch

First and foremost, THANKS to Amazon for prompt shipping. I just installed this switch on 2-way pole and it’s working perfect. If you understand 2-way and 3-way wiring schematics, then installation is a breeze. The speed controls work perfect. Switch comes with everything that you need, including wire nuts, makes it very convenient.

Really good for a ceiling fan

I had purchased another brand which was a light dimmer switch. Those switches however did not allow enough amps and cause a ceiling fan motors to hum.I bought these because they will allow enough amps to properly supply the motor to the ceiling fans. So my brand new ceiling fans won’t burn up. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Easy installation, finicky to operate.

The speed control is not intuitive (top s/b high, bottom off). Off is actually somewhere in the middle, with low at the bottom and high at the top. Not certain if this info was to be conveyed in the “manual”, since my box just had the switch inside. I finally noticed that the word “off” was stamped on the heat sink near the center and figured it out. The switch works silently with no hum, but off and medium take some fumbling to engage.

It works great

Installation was relatively straightforward, but this item is bulkier than the switch it replaced and it takes a while to reposition the wiring in the two gang box so it all fits. Other than that it allowed me to lower the fan speed below the lowest setting on the fan switch itself. I left the fan switch on the fan housing to medium speed and use the wall switch to set a lower high, medium, and low setting. This allowed me set a very low fan speed while sleeping.

Works and does as it should

Before purchasing this make sure your fan in a 3 speed fan and not a 4 speed fan. Seen a lot of bad reviews on this product saying the fan speeds are way off but that would only be the case if you used a 3 speed switch on a 4 speed fan or if the setting on the fan itself is not set to the highest speed. This switch worked EXACTLY as described when used properly. Would buy again!

Garbage, doesn’t work well at all!

This thing sucks, 3 speed -stopped -barely moving -full speed GARBAGE looks elsewhere for something that works
