Good for paddle fan / lights
The light dimmer does have a low setting on the back of the dimmer to set how low the brightness will be at its lowest setting... To be set before screwing the dimmer into the box.. Nice easy to install and use..

Reliability
I have purchased four of these Fan/Light switches to control 3 speed fans and light dimmer. They work great never had any problems with any of them.

Something is wrong with this dimmer switch/fan controller
Bought two these to control a few LED recessed lights and a fan in a room because I liked the look and wanted something reliable since I never had issues with Leviton products before. Well, I was disappointed. For starters, there was supposed to be an adjustment dial on the bottom to modify the lowest light level but I couldn't find any without trying to take the plastic apart. Also, one of the issues was that the minimum light level was too high for these lights and even with that they will turn of on the lowest setting and something power demanding gets turn on studently on same circuit. But the worst part was that the light will go to the highest setting and back again when switching the fan speeds. This didn't happen always, but it did enough to be consistently happening depending on how fast you move through the fan speeds. I thought it could be the lights themselves but when hooked up with a $17 TP-Link Kasa Smart Dimmer Switch HS220 these same lights go to a lowest brightness setting and won't turn off when turning on the same power demanding device used before. And when connecting the original controller the fan came with alongside the Kasa switch the lights won't even notice when you change fan speeds. I tested the two Leviton switches I bought and both behaved the same. Returning.

This switch worked great and was exactly what I needed
This switch works better than I expected! I find this so convenient and easy to use. I had the electrician install this with my fan light. I like how it clearly marks which one is a fan and which one is a light so if you have guests, they don't get confused. The only thing is that the fan only has four settings: off, slow speed, medium speed, and fast speed. The light dimmer is unrestricted -so you can choose any brightness you choose want.

Disappointed, sticking with the Lutron Skylark model...
I tried to replace a Lutron Skylark with this thinking this would work better with LEDs. Not even close. At first the LEDs might have been a tiny bit brighter but that perception maybe lasted a few weeks. After a few months the LEDs got real dim and continued to degrade. I finally put incandescent bulbs back in to test and they were also very dim at full on and not dimmable. Yes I tried that little adjustment pot. No change. Maybe it fried itself? Glad I did not throw away the older Skylark because I put it back in and it operated both the incandescent bulbs and the same LEDs I was using. Proved the bulbs were never the issue. The fan side worked fine the entire time but I found its more flush design harder to use. The Skylark was more crisp snapping into each fan setting and both switches were easier to find by feel (say when reaching into a dark room). Wish I could get a refund. I'll save it. Maybe this will work better with a brand new fan someday.

Great Quality
I was changing my house over to all LED switches. This switch was the last room that I needed to change. I had a hard time finding an LED dimmer/fan combo so I ended up going with an off brand switch. It was too big and didn't fit in the box I had in the wall. I thought that was odd. The Leviton 66DF-10W fit perfectly into the box and had correctly colored wires and installed with ease unlike the off brand one that didn't have the wires colored correctly.

Bad directions, made in china but seem to work OK
Very disappointed to find these made in China, but then soon everything will be. The directions are weak but the diagrams are good enough. Wish they had colors explained on the back because years from now these will be hard to t/s. But these operate well enough.

Does the job. Not that great for LED (not adjustable to limit flicker)
Needed an LED switch for our Fan. Sometimes while adjusting the fan speed the light brightness will change sporadically. Previous led dimmers I've installed have the ability to adjust the limit of the dim - not this one. So get the odd flickering...

No More Flickering LEDs
What more can I ask for? Lights used to flicker when on the max setting with my old Leviton fan dimmer. Problem solved!
