Good for pet rats

I bought the large space pod for two juvenile pet rats and they LOVE it! They're asleep inside of it most of the day and whenever I take it out to clean it they go crazy. Unfortunately this product is somewhat difficult to adjust on a wire cage. You will need to bend it in a certain way for it the roof on it to fit. I have also tried to make it stand upright (large piece set on the floor) and the bottom cup simply falls out. Otherwise the rats approve. I may need to buy another one for them once they're both full grown.

Rats Love It!

Our 2 dumbo rats fell in love with this product the moment it entered their cage! It's easy to clean and can be set up in either a hanging or ground position. Our boys often wrestle in it as well as snuggle up.... holds up to both!

I've bought several of these over the years. Every one of my pet rats have LOVED it. It's the only thing they sleep in.

Love it

My boys love it!!! Both of my senior male rats fit together in it and will snuggle. I love how easy it is to clean and that it is a cooler place for them to sleep when they are feeling warm. I have 3 of them and don’t know what if do without them. I usually just by from a pet store but the Amazon one is the exact same. Highly recommend :)

Amazing

I have 7 excessive chewers that destroy everything that’s cloth, and these have been the best so far it’s only a been a day and 0 issues with them. 2 full grown rats can fit into one.

Spacepod's awesome!

The media could not be loaded. My pet rats love their spaceport. It's never empty. U can look and see their cute sleeping positions. I love it. A must buy!

Doesn’t stay together

Every time I clean their cage, I always struggle to put this pod back together. It got to the point where after setting it up, it would always come apart within minutes. Rats couldn’t enjoy it for long, so I tossed it. The igloo house is much better, but all in all is still made from cheap plastic, but stays together compared to the garbage pod.

Versatile and Comfy!

This is a great addition to any cage. The small is small... But it'll fit 1 or 2 small rats. Versatile as it hangs easily... Or can stand on its own. Very pleased with this one! The rats seem to like it. Update: small one just fits 2...and they seem to like it. Pics above.

A little small, but awesome!

It’s much smaller than I expected, it fits right in the palm of my hand! Two of my rats at MOST can fit in here at a time, but even then it’s a tight fit. The girls like it a lot, even with it’s small size. It’s a great little thing for the low price, and I don’t regret the purchase even though it was smaller than I expected. It’s easy to take apart, which makes cleaning it so much easier, but it stays together while it hangs from the top of the cage, I’m never worried about my girls safety while this is with them.

OMG if you have rats, get this!!!!

I bought this for a Christmas present for my 3 rats, I heard about these so-called *space pods* and how rats seemed to really like them, my rats love hammocks but they always somehow chew them to shreds and make them very smelly so they can't be reused, and that can get costly. So I thought that the space pod would be a good investment for the rats to have a warm hut for winter time (2 of them are hairless) As soon as I hung the pod in the cage, the rats fell in love. They are CONSTANTLY in the pod nonstop, all huddled together, speaking of that they all do fit in there, they are 3 decent sized girls so I am happy that they all can fit in there! Half the time I can't even get them to get out of the pod they love it so much, I put a little blanket in there for them for extra cushioning, since they are hairless. if your rats are a fan of hammocks I think they will like the space pod, it may be a bit expensive but it is reusable, just wash it out! This was a fantastic present for my rats, Great buy!

Rats seem to love it

We had a small rat cage that this fit nicely in. Rats seem to love it. We have two female rats that aren't very old,just a few months, and they fit *ok* in it. My daughter wants to buy a larger one to give them a little more room because one of the rats screams when they other one touches it a certain way, sometimes. We had it on a cage, now we have it in an aquarium (waiting for a new cage) and it's convenient for both on the floor or hanging up.
