Good deal and very taut.

I ordered 2 “used like new” and they appear to be everything I need and at a good price. A word of warning. Newly opened they are very taut. I was sitting on the middle section and my husband lifted the foot section just slightly. Whammo! The foot section flipped out of his hand and whacked me on the side of my head. Operator error and a shiner for three weeks. When we get the tent up and put them in we’re going to be aware and not to take the tautness for granted.

Chase lounge

Great product. I didn’t think it unfolded to the flat position hard at all like some said. Made strong and very comfortable to lay on. Glad I bought it.

Wouldn't want to sleep on all the time

This is OK for camping or a hotel with many in a room. Not the most comfortable. But can be done.

Ideal (car) camping cot / lounger at the sturdiness / weight sweet spot

I spent quite a while shopping around for cots before getting this one. For the most part a solid cot seemed to be around this price range and the options became the trade-off between weight and quality / sturdiness. Then there is this cot, and in addition to being both a manageable weight AND plenty sturdy for anyone up to (or perhaps a bit over) 200 pounds it ALSO functions as a chaise lounge with about 4 available positions to angle the back rest. When I picked these cots and ordered some for my family I was thinking we could take these to the camp ground and use them to lounge / enjoy the day if we so choose and then they could get double duty locked into the horizontal position to sleep on. Another nice bonus when I pulled them out of the box my wife immediately said she wanted to use them out back at home too because, unlike most chaise lounges, they do not have the "straps that leave marks on your butt." And when we're camping, the elevation keeps us off the cold ground (and associated condensation!) in addition to lump-free comfort. We also all agree the width is ideal, at least if you're going to be in a sleeping bag anyway. It's obviously not in the same ballpark as airbeds (which have pros and cons both of their own), but if you could doze off on a typical couch without hanging off the long edge then the width of this cot should suit you fine. The problem with going wider is it becomes exponentially more difficult to transport and quickly dominates your tent (if it fits at all). This gets to be an issue of personal preference very quickly but after seeing some other reviews I was worried it would be unusually narrow but this is a pretty standard cot or chaise lounge width and I am quite happy with the size around 175 (5'10). Speaking of transport, I was also impressed with how small these fold up. The "foot" and "head" sections both fold parallel to (and against) the center section and then the section that might want to flip outward when carried has 2 velcro straps that secure it. This means you can easily carry the folded cot with 1 hand without fear of it transforming unexpectedly onto your foot or innocent bystanders. That said, when you want to set it up you just undo the velcro and the whole thing swings open in seconds. There are no sliding parts to bind up and "fight back" the way some camping chairs do. If you are a big & tall customer, or a backpacker, this cot is not going to be a good camping choice for you. It is a very manageable weight if you want to carry a couple between your car and your site but you will not want to try to walk around with this all day along with a tent and the rest of your kit. The only con to this item, and I don't even care that much about it, is the fabric sometimes makes a noise when you re-situate yourself on it. It's not a big deal, and I suspect it might even go away over time, but if you're the sort to be irritated by a noisy seat you might care more than I do. Hopefully this is all you need to know. Hard to raise for sitting up !

Not too heavy- easy to carry

Nothing to dislike , the cot is perfect. I slept on it for 5 days at a Camporee and have nothing to complain about. I tried to buy the same somehow got a heavy Coleman cot instead

Kinda noisy

Bought this chair to lounge at the beach or park, fabric is very tight which can be noisy when adjusting positions. It’s almost irritating, like someone scratching a chalkboard. It hasn’t really bothered me that much, don’t really plan on sleeping on it.

Squeaky beyond reason

The quality feels sturdy but the level of squeakiness because of the cot material up against the metal is not super helpful to sleeping or other people falling asleep.

Great buy

Sturdy and comfortable, very good quality, it will resist the test of time am sure. Colour is also nice and easy to fold, and light.

aVERAGE PRDUCT BUT NOT WORTH FOR MONEY..

Do not buy

Very bad product. Height should be like cots height. It is like sitting on ground. I would not recommend to anybody who are looking for use it like a cot.
