camping, sleeopvers, and lunch break naps
My Coleman cot was used on a near-daily basis for a year, and it still hasn't crapped out on me. Some may approach it with skepticism, but don't scoff at this - it's actually very comfortable, in my opinion. I have suffered from back and neck pain on air mattresses and get so frustrated waiting for one to inflate, then have awakened with my butt on the floor come morning when it inevitably loses some air. Compressed foam pads never provide enough cushion or comfort from a hard or uneven floor, and I toss and turn on them. Hammocks aren't ideal for flat-laying. Short of a thick, bulky, heavy memory foam mattress, this cot is the best option for a temporary sleeping setup I have come across. This offers supportive comfort and the pad provides some insulation from cold, though I add a reflective pad to up the r- value beneath me in winter. It is fairly light weight and takes up little space in a trunk*, so you can bring multiple if group camping. And it sets up with ease. *The frame doesn't disassemble to fold down to a compact size, so it's not for backpacking. There are no tricks to unfolding or setting it up - just slide out the cushion, flip it and extend the legs - a single individual can do it in under 60 seconds. I had mine set up in the back of a Honda Element, with the rear seats removed. It could lie fully open with the front passenger seat in a slightly forward position (I could still sit in the passenger seat, but I have short legs). This was my stealth camper setup for a full year, before I built a more permanent platform to hold a full-sized folding mattress. I napped on it or slept a full night almost every day for a year and it sure was cozy. Now, the cot is used just for tent camping, but it's still a gem. The only sign of wear it's incurred is a few scuffs on the metal frame and slight squeak when getting into or out of it, from the springs stretching. I will add this disclaimer: If you are a larger individual, the springs may wear out a bit sooner, or the cot may feel too small for your comfort. They make longer and wider cots. This one has held up beautifully for me with regular use, and I have now owned it for about two years.

Great cot!
I'm short and wanted a smaller cot and this was it. It has the Coleman quality and sturdiness and I really love it. I also use it when my young grandson comes to visit and he feels like it is his special bed that can be put in any room.

So comfortable
I took this camping and everyone I was camping with was so jealous they all tried it out. Some of them went on Amazon and bought it right away. It folds in half and does take up some space when packing but it was so comfortable

The Best In The Business
This cot is the most comfortable cot I've ever owned. I will always buy a Coleman.

Great cot!
Bought for overnight guests, mostly kids. Surprisingly long! My teenaged niece slept on it for a week without any problems at all!

Really easy & quick to use!
I'm not super-strong and noticed so many reviewers complaining about the difficulty of setting up most cots. And taking them down again. This one is a breeze, a child can easily do it. No straining to stretch fabric or get legs into place. IMO it's plenty stable against tipping too. Even comes with a nice upholstered foam mat, which I find very comfortable as well. It's going to be great for car camping and an extra bed in the house for company.

Very comfortable!!
I was using air mattresses prior to this, but they keep needing to be filled and they look kind of sloppy. They also aren't the most comfy beds. I am thrilled with this purchase. It's super connotation and it can be folded up and is unobtrusive if not in use. I happened to have a mattress topper which only made it better, but it was good without it. I can say it's 100 percent worth it. No regrets.

Perfect
In 2020, because of Covid-19, for the summer I was living in a trailer in my driveway to keep my family safe while I continued to work. At the end of September I needed to move back into the house for winter, but needed to stay in the basement away from the rest of the family. Social distancing. I started looking at cots to buy to sleep on in the basement. I spent a long time reading through hundreds of reviews of different types of cots, and trying to sift through the pros and cons for each. A lot of other cheaper cots that folded down to store easily, seemed like they broke or ripped not long after being purchased. I wanted something that was going to be good quality and last a long time. I came across this Coleman cot and liked the reviews, and it looked sturdy. I decided to purchase it based on this. It was delivered to my door a few days later in a good quality box. I have been sleeping on this cot every night for the last year and four months (since Sept. 2020). It is a very comfortable cot, and it has been worth every penny spent. I am only 5'6" tall, so there is lots of room for me to get a good night's sleep. The mattress that comes with it is also very comfortable, and I am glad it was included. The other reviews that say it is not good are incorrect. The only issue I find with the mattress is that it is a bit of a pain to fold the cot up to store it with the mattress inside. But not the end of the world. I am only using this cot in the house right now, but when this pandemic is over, I will definitely take it camping with me. I put a twin sheet set on the cot to keep the mattress clean, and I find it helps keep the mattress in place a bit better. I pinch the fitted sheet into the legs of the cot when putting cot up. Overall, this is a great quality cot and you will not lose any sleep buying it.

Good quality cot with a slight flaw
I have been using this as a small resting area at my workplace to get quick power naps. So it has seen very light use indoors. The frame is very sturdy and comfortable. It is overall great. But, one thing that happened to mine is that the seam of the top foam mattress split open with only 10 days of use, and it was not abused, and I only weigh 130lbs. It is a bit disappointing since Coleman is a big brand. I decided live with it as it was not worth the hassle of returning, although Amazon makes it easy to return. I spoke to the support agent and they gave me a partial refund to compensate for the opened seams of the foam mattress. I am pretty happy with the customer service I got so this deserves a 4 star.

5 stars for now
Just received it today. i will give it a sleep test tonight and update once i am satisfied with it. My initial thoughts, it is slightly heavier and bigger than what i expected. the mattress keeps slipping off the bed. main test will be spending comfortable night. i will update this review again.

Watch the price
The media could not be loaded. paid 140 see it goes down to 80 :( Overall good so far. We need this cot for a temporary guest bed . Awesome it comes with the pad, it was shipped promptly . Of course It is not a pillow top experience , it is kinda firm but this is to be expected as it is a cot. Seems More Comfortable then the other cots as there are springs and the added pad. The materials seem to be of good quality as it is the Colman brand . So I expect this product to last . This isn't really a space saver when folded like the other style, so that is something to keep in mind for when storing. Would recommend. 2 week update . Held up very good for our guest of 2 weeks , very comfortable sleeps.

Super Soft Matress A Killer
While the spring tensioned camp cot was a dream providing support especially for hips and shoulders, the included mattress was a horrible experience. The mattress was tossed onto the floor, as all it did was aggrivate an otherwise pleasant experience and as such, was useless and expensive. As far as the cot goes, a TEN, but the mattress itself, would do better as something to toss down as a ground comforter. This company produces excellent products and here, they should stiffen up the foam quite a bit and introduce a folding seam for the mattress to fit into the cot for carry or storage. Otherwise must say the mattress is well built, but for extreme softness which wrecks the beautifully well designed, spring cot, which could be used for triage in emergency situations. But the mattress, is not something one would want to sleep on for any period of time, simply causing stiffness and a sore back.
