Quick setup, very light, comfortable!

I hadn't purchased a cot before as I always thought they were too bulky and heavy. I added this to my weekend trip backpack and with all of the comforts for spring/summer camping, my entire setup weighed 29.7lbs. including 2.5L.of water and food (dehydrated) for thee weekend. This is my setup in the backyard to test the system and I am absolutely impressed! I would recommend this to anyone who wants a little more comfort without breaking your back.

For those that have long layovers

I travel a lot, I sometimes have long layovers (over night). Instead of getting a hotel or sleeping on the floor o break out this bad boy. Light and small enough to be in a carry on suitcase, the first time you use it, it pays for itself.

Perfect for kayak camping!

This tent is the perfect size for kayak camping! Room for a cot, and my bags with room For changing, etc. light and compact when packed, easy up and down, and with the rain screen off it’s amazing for full moon sleeping!

Light weight

I am an emergency deployment chaplain and a volunteer disaster relief worker. VERY light weight is a must. It could have been taller as then I would have a place to put my luggage under the cot. It's a FIVE star if it had been taller!!!!! For the value it is worth it.... It's just the height issue...

Quick and Simple

I bought this for a motorcycle camping trip. It packs well and is easy to debag and rebag. Likes It is simple to set up. My buddy had a higher dollar, lighter cot made by a popular upscale outdoor company. It took him ten minutes of struggle and cursing to assemble his cot. I had mine assembled inside my tent in less than three minutes. Easy of assembly is the highlight here. It sleeps nice, but the fabric does give after a few minutes. This allows you to feel the bars in your back. It wasn't completely uncomfortable, but noticeable. I slept just on the cot one night, then used my Thermarest air mattress on it. That is the best combination - no bars. Disassembly is easy. I had the entire thing apart and in the bag in less than five minutes. Meanwhile, my buddy was disassembling his cot by pulling everything apart. It is quite difficult, to the point that his hand slipped, and he hit himself in the mouth bloodying his lip. After that, he began to see that the trade-off in weight was probably worth it. Dislikes Presently, after a week of using it, I see nothing to dislike. As with all things, durability is important. The system stretches the nylon fabric very tight. Time will tell as to how many times the seams and the fabric itself can take the repeated taunt stretching before something gives. At this time, I can recommend this cot. The ease of set up and tear down is impressive. That alone is worth five stars.

almost perfect...ALMOST

love the comfort of these cots, supportive without being stiff. light weight and breathable materials for warmer weather . easy set up and tear down. they are packable , but also great for car camping because they pack so small. I have found i prefer the low height vs a cot that is std bed height. It is still enough to keep you from ever touching the ground. keeping you off the cold hard ground, but low enough to not be an issue in most tents and away from drafty windows. plus did I mention how small they pack? my self inflating pad and sleeping bag are each bigger than this thing is! great colors, nice strong plastics and good finish on the metal pieces. top notch material. they have held up to hot, wet, freezing, sand, dusty conditions. kids climbing on them, kids putting them together and taking them down, adults sleeping on them and using them to get dressed or packed. and taken all the abuse so whats the negative? they squeak/creak like an old rusty hinge on a door from your childhood nightmares. not just occasionally but constantly. and loudly. like wake you from your sleep loud. once you are on them every move you make, every breath you take, this bed squeaks at you. I'm 6'2" 215# so I am not small, but every one of our beds do it with my wife, and either of our young kids too. I've tried with and without a pad on top. ive tried soft ground(but level and secure) and hard ground, a blanket under the feet on a wood floor cabins. graphite powder at the hinge joint and contact points. nothing makes this go away so far. to be fair, that is the only negative I have about these cots. they are well made and a great addition to your camping gear. but you have got to be able to get past that unholy squeaking

Small to stow, easy to assemble, Comfortable

I picked this cot for it’s stow size. The instructions were fair at best, but a good design so I easily figured what to do. This cot with a thermarest pad was 10x better than sleeping on the pad alone

Absolutely amazing

Best piece of camping kit I've ever bought hands down. Really comfortable to sleep on. I tried it with and without an inflatable mattress and found it most comfortable without. I weigh 15 stone so not the lightest, but it takes my weight no problem. Easy to put up with a bit of practice, really compact and light. This is coming with me on every trip from now on.

Its not called KING for nothing

This light weight cot is very well designed and the materials are of very good quality. There is another brand at twice the price, don’t bother this is a better design with the legs. On a plus the elastic straps are a great function along with the pillow. This is so easy to erect and just as easy to pack away. I use my inflatable thermarest full length and pillow with the cot, using the elastic straps to keep it in place. I’m telling you amazing comfort. I promise you would not be disappointed using my method.

Good value

If you don't line the legs up properly the bed ends up out of shape, instructions are useless, a teen would struggle with this bed, once erected properly its very comfortable & sturdy, fabric is good quality, overall the bed is great, plastic bits would break if incorrectly used, but really it’s common sense to which way they go, good quality storage bag included, pillow pouch is pretty much useless, don't really see a use for it, you can buy lighter cots , but with a much higher price tag, makes this one quite good value

Don't waste your time - bad and inconsistent quality!

Let me say this "I really wanted to like this cot!" and gave it a solid chance, but the product failed. I ordered two of them in the same color and at first, they looked identical but then I noticed that they were a bit different. One was sagging and I could feel the spanning legs on my back. Both, after a bit of use, lost the rectangular shape, and turned into rhombuses. This change was permanent. I'm 180 lbs in weight and I thought that the cot should sustain that. Wanna working cot? Spend some money on ALPS Mountaineering Ready Lite Cot.
