Perfect little kit

Stop looking ! This kit us perfect, every tool was sturdy and did the job it was meant to do, what else could you ask for. Made my project so much easier

Brushes are really stiff and don,t move

Bought this as an oil painting brush to blend colors. This is,t what l was looking for. As wallpaper equipment it's really good. You need stuff brushes to smooth out wallpaper. This definitely does that.

PERFECT drum carder brush! (ignore this review for actual wallpapering)

I wanted these brushes for an unconventional use--handheld packing brushes for a drum carder. I have several drum carders for the fiber workshops my company hosts. Newer machines typically include a packing brush, but most older brands of machines do not. My workaround has been using hand cards (which eventually get destroyed--and at $60-80 a pair, a big bummer) or a carder blending brush (effective but small). I took an art carding class from Esther Rogers and she used an assortment of hardware store brushes to good effect for drum carding, but wasn't able to find one that was quite right for the job, until I spotted this set. It turns out that the wider brush (the "vinyl smoother" I think) is absolutely PERFECT for a standard drum carder, something like an old Ashford carder or the Louet classic. You can cold it at the full width and crank the handle to really pack on the fibers, or use it for spot-packing chunky fiber onto the main drum. I was astounded at how perfectly it worked, and for a fraction of the cost of most purpose-built brushes. Of course, the standard purpose-built mounted brush is best for hands-free use, but as far as handhelds go, this does a phenomenal job. The bristles are firm but flexible and won't damage the carding cloth. The other brush, the paste brush, is great for smaller carders like the Louet roving carder junior, or if you have an old Strauch Petite from before the packing brush came standard. I can't speak to their original purpose, except to say that they feel very well made, and the plastic handles should be easier to clean than the wooden type.

Standard Quality, Needed for Hanging Wallpaper

I ordered the Amazon Basics vinyl wallcovering kit to help us hang it. The kit includes a paste brush and a vinyl smoother brush. You also get a seam roller which works really well. Those pieces are all standard quality. The plumb bob pieces are inexpensive but could work. We didn’t use the plumb bob, my husband used a level instead. ⛵⚓Seas the Day⚓⛵

Good kit if everything worked

It is a decent kit for wall covering. The instruction is printed on the back which gets ripped as you open the package because the perforation is not cut deep enough to save the writing properly. Good set of brushes. Plumb bob kit was a good idea for a perfect vertical line. The only problem was the seam roller which did not roll at all. Oiling it helped some but not enough to make it work smoothly. Not only that, the wooden roller part was oblong and would not have worked properly anyway.

More than basic, a good quality set

I ordered this Amazon Basics Vinyl Wallcovering Kit with Soft Grip Brushes to install wallpaper on my home office's walls, and each of the tools had helped to make the setting of the wallpaper easier. And some of these tool I’ll continue to use in the future, like the soft grip brushes, which can be washed and reuse to dust anything quickly, like books in the shelves. And the sharp snap-off knife, that includes enough blades to last a while.

Great kit but a few items were cheap

I ended up replacing some of the items from this kit as the handles were a little flimsy. Still not a bad little set for the money, as you get items for a lower price than what you would have paid for them individually.

Good set

I have some wall contact paper and thought that this would be a good set to get. I was right, this set offers a wider application then just using the small plastic little piece that I had before. It gives more flawless application and allows me to cover more area at once without creating many bubbles. Overall I find this set to be very useful since I like to change out my contact wall papers often. I hope that my review has helped make your decision a little easier.

Good enough for my small job.

Bought this as I only needed some items to hang 5 pieces of 2000g lining paper and didn't want to spend a fortune on bits I will never likely use again. The set itself was absolutely fine. Pasting brush was adequate. My only gripe was the "smoothing" brush is very stiff so don't press down too firmly. If I was decorating a whole room I would probably pay that little but extra for a better smoothing tool. However, my paper is up and looks good.

Per colle dense

Utilizzato per applicare una carta da parati vinilica e quindi con colla densa. Tutto fa ottimamente il proprio lavoro, dal pennello per applicare la colla al rullino di legno passando per spazzola lunga e taglierina. Poca spesa tanta resa insomma! Consiglio
