Not bad depending on what you need it for

I live in a condo that is not carpeted. We have an area rug however that my lovely cat Sylvester decided to compliment by defecating on. I cleaned up the mess as best I could with towels but there was still left over love from my cat stuck in the carpet. This is when I purchased this, and it came in the next day. Don’t get it confused with a steam cleaner because there’s no steam, but it will get the job done after a little bit of toil and frustration. It took about 20 minutes to get the job done but at least I’m confident that it’s clean. The suction isn’t that great but it works and will clean any small job you may need done. Going to use it in my truck later on and based on how it did on my carpet I’m confident it’s the right tool for the job.

If Pump Doesn’t Prime

Several reviews mentioned the pump did not take up solution - and that was my issue as well. Followed all the troubleshooting tips including running the unit for 2 mins while holding the spray trigger “on”, with the hose end lower than the unit. Still didn’t work. A call to Kenmore was not helpful, suggesting “Probably faulty pump” Last ditch effort I removed the clean water tank exposing the intake to the pump. Filled a turkey baster and turned on the vacuum while gently squeezing water in. After 2 full basters the pump was sucking water and it’s worked perfectly since. 4 stars due to this issue but otherwise I agree with the rave reviews! Does an amazing job!

Long hose.

When I first used this cleaner I used it on a stained mattress. It had pee and milk spilt on it n it had set there for awhile. I made a mixture of peroxide, dawn dish soap n baking soda sprayed it onto all the spots n let it set overnight. The next day I sprayed it again with more mixture scrubbed it a little n used the cleaner. At 1st I thought the suction sucked but after I cleaned entire mattress it was dry by next day!! So I have yet to use it on my car seats!!! I personally like it so far! It's very light, easy to use/clean, n love it has a long cleaning hose that helps out alot!! Hope this helps

Best so far

So.... I have used Bissell products forever. However, the last two products I purchased failed miserably. One was a carpet shampooer and the other was an upholstery shampooer/spot cleaner. The carpet shampooer failed after three uses. The upholstery cleaner failed after four uses so I decided to take a different avenue. I perused Amazon and found a Kenmore upholstery cleaner. I read the reviews and thought it was worth a try. Boy am I glad I bought it. Here are the benefits of purchasing this machine; 1. The reservoirs are large. They're twice the volume of the Bissell. 2. This is a powerful machine. The suction is amazing and the material dries quickly. My sofa sectional was completely dry overnight. 3. It comes with a replacement for the trigger mechanism, a narrow upholstery attachment as well as an extra wide attachment which makes doing large areas quick and easy. Another huge plus is that it comes with a hose that's 6 ft long! That was great because I didn't have to constantly haul around this machine every time I needed to move to a new section. 4. It is the least complicated machine I've ever come across. Both reservoirs remove very easily from the unit and are easy to fill, empty and clean. The Bissell machine I was using had tall narrow reservoirs and I could never get the dirty water container completely clean. That could drive an OCD person crazy! (I don't know anyone like that ????????????) This machine comes with its own shampoo specifically designed for pets however I have my own recipe that is amazing.

This is a winner

I have through the years had all the small hand-held carpet cleaners. I use them about once a week due to having 6 dogs. I can tell you they all have drawbacks. But this one has really good suction. A really good sprayer and is super easy to remove and replace the canisters. Simply lift off and push back on after rinsing or filling. Most others are cumbersome to remove and get open for dumping and rinsing.

So far, so good

I bought this to replace another machine that developed a hole where the flexible hose meets the more rigid handle-----a manufacturing defect that appears to exist in all these devices (I'm trying to be more careful about how I hold this one while using it to prevent the same issue). I'm happy with the way this cleans, but it is just too big and bulky----which maybe it has to be that big to have the suction power it has, I don't know. All I know is the clean/dirty water tanks do NOT need to be so huge. This isn't to clean an entire room with, it's just for stains, so why make the tanks so big??? Also, my last one of these type products had a self cleaning hose which came in really handy. Having to drag this to the sink to suck clean water through it everytime is a hassle. I have a cat who throws up daily, so I really wanted to love this. But honestly? I find myself just using stain remover and paper towels more often than not because this is just to big to haul around for little jobs. It also has a REALLY long hose which sounds great, but truly isn't. It just makes it harder to navigate and clean with it and it has to wrap around the machine twice to store it. The nozzle holder on the machine does not come attached and no matter how hard I try, I cannot get the screw tight enough so it's loose and wobbles. Also it comes with 2 brush heads, one larger and one small which is a waste. I don't need a huge brush head for stains, and there is no where on the machine to store the extra one anyway. I only chose this one because it had a 20% off coupon. I actually wish I just would have purchased another of the type I had previously. Sure, it lasted less than a year before developing the hole in the hose, but it was much more user friendly.

Buen producto

Es súper fácil de usar, tiene buena potencia, aunque en líquido no quita las manchas, pero se puede utilizar otro producto, lo importante es que la máquina funciona muy bien ¡me encanto!
