Best purchase ever

My cat has bad anxiety and will pee on my carpet and favorite spots. One pass and I can’t smell anything. I am so impressed and was expecting to spend days scrubbing. Minutes and things are clean. I’ve ordered more spray already and am so happy with this purchase especially for the price.

Happy but sad

I bought this with the purpose of cleaning out the carpets in my car. My car is 20 plus years old and her carpets have never been cleaned ever in her life. They are like super stained, even moldy with black mold and everything. And I was hoping that this little machine would save my car's carpets. And I was pleasantly surprised. Honestly, I didn't think it would work as well as it did. It completely sucked up all of like the black mold, the ingrained stains everything. The only thing that I would say is that even the smallest nozzle couldn't get in the crevices of my car. Which you know that's probably not what it's made for but still I wish it did come with a bit more nozzles and that the hose was a bit longer. Because for the amount of money that you're paying I just think that you should get a little bit more out of it. But I would recommend this to anybody for any use. I doesn't have to be just pet stains. It's also works for your car.

Ok, gross story ahead. But if you’re here, you’re probably a pet owner, so you understand. My dog threw up while on our couch, and it went all over that and our wool rug. It was the worst smell ever, and I realized that she had eaten bunny poop AND our other dog’s poop. I cleaned it for 45 minutes with carpet cleaner spray/sponge/water/repeat. It still smelled. I tried baking soda and vacuumed it up. Still smelled. I finally bought this machine that I’d had my eye on for months. Within ONE minute, the carpet was thoroughly clean and the smell was gone!! This thing is magic and my best purchase in a long time.

I mean, it helps a little

I honestly think it was my fault for setting such high expectations for this product. There is a stain on my desk chair and I ordered this to try and get it out. When it first arrives, it wrong item. I am a little upset, but honestly, it kind of looked the same as the one I ordered so I wasn't too upset. I didn't want to return it if it did the same thing as the one I ordered so I try it out. I set it up, cool, very user-friendly. The issue immediately is the poor suction power. It hardly sucked up any of the formula and stain that was on my chair. Next was the fact that I was missing one of the heads for the machine. Not to mention it was one of the important ones that work for any surface. The stain never came out of my chair. Additionally, the formula tool 12 hours to dry meaning, I couldn't sit on my chair for 12 hours because it was wet/damp. Overall I did not enjoy this product and I am sad that I can't return it. It did an okay job of lifting some of the color from the stain but overall it did not remove it. Maybe the one I had originally ordered would have worked? Im not sure what to do now with this defective item...

Removes pet smells from carpet

Update: Bissell customer support is spot on amazing! My pup wasn't a fan of this vacuum, so she chewed the plug off the cord when I wasn't looking. She doesn't chew on any other cord around my house so this was a shock. Omg I was in absolute tears! But they came to the rescue and are replacing my machine with something newer as it's under warranty. Malicious canine chewing falls under the warranty! Who knew! Original: This is amazing. Some may expect a lot from this vac, but I only want it to remove pet stains and remove the odor that's been wafting from my carpet. You see, my puppy who is now 9 months old had an interesting time potty training. So she basically went everywhere she pleased for a while until she grew up a little and knew she had two locations to go: the potty pad or outside. Not the rugs or carpet. Needless to say, it became time to find one of these kinds of vacuum cleaners, and I'm glad I did. I do a little spot at a time, but over the course of the month I have had it I have cleaned my living room carpet fully. It smells so much nicer now. I plan to spend the next few weeks cleaning the carpet of the dining room to eliminate the pee smell / pee stains. I say weeks and such because it's a large project for a small vacuum, and how slow you have to move with it. Eventually you get to the point where you're sick of vacuuming so you take a few days off to let the carpet dry. I could have rented something, or even called a pro, but I find this little vac to be just right for me. Does it take patience? Yes, yes it does. If you plan to do a large carpet, it may take a few days to do a full sweep. There is dry time involved, and cleaning the vacuum as well, but for the price - it can't be beat.

Cleans

This carpet cleaner did wonders for the back seat of my car. It was so dirty that it was starting to smell. After using this cleaner, it did wonders to the back seat of my car. I used the detergent that it brings but you can also use your own if you'd like. Anyway, the back seat of my car literally looks brand new now. I definitely recommend this powerful device.

Animals are messy, Bissel cleans up!

The Bissel Per Plus is awesome! I first love that I got this fast with same day shipping. My car barfed all over the carpet the night before and so I had a really big mess to test this cleaner on. Wow was i impressed! So impressed that I started on my small chair and ottoman . You do have to use some elbow grease to get the stains out but it looks great afterwards. I wish I would have purchased this years ago. Got so much dirt and grime from my 7 year old chair, it now looks brand new! Thanks Bissel!

Really useful, but requires a lot of energy

I bought this to help clean car carper, and some furniture in my house. First thing is, cleaning anything with this takes a lot of energy. The suction power is good but you need to make 3-4 passes on each spot to ensure the liquid is sucked up. While the device is portable it is rather heavy, so cleaning the stairs wasn't easy and took a decent amount of time. So in conclusion, the device works as advertised but the amount of energy and time is actually decent.
