Great little carpet cleaner

This is a great little carpet cleaner! I bought it with the pet attachments because I have 2 dogs that occasionally have accidents in the house. It works well at suctioning up liquid. I usually use my favorite carpet cleaner spray, and just use this to scrub and suction up. I have used the liquid it came with though and it seems to work well also. This is BY FAR the easiest mini carpet cleaner to clean that I have ever had, and I’ve had a few. It has an easy to open dirty water container and a tube cleaning tool that rinses out the inside of the tube that the cleaning heads attach to. The pet attachments have rubber bristles which keeps them from getting tangled with carpet fibers and hair, so it rinses off easily. I’ve had carpet cleaners in the past that smell horrible even after “cleaning” them out, because it was super hard to keep the parts clean. Not with this guy. Very happy with my purchase.

Solid performance. Nice to have for those small messes.

My only complaints are that I wish the solution and waste reservoirs were larger. I also wish the suction was stronger. I find I have to spray the area and then run the vacuum over the spot multiple times to get most of the wetness out. That said it works great at a reasonable cost for small areas. I use it mostly on a 7 person sectional and it takes two fill ups. Used it on a decade old soda stain on carpeted stairs and it got rid of that stain like a champ.

Everyone should own one

I love this product so much. As the owner of a stubborn little chihuahua, messes are a frequent occurrence. This gets up the stains and odor so well and is really easy to use. It came with an attachment for everything under the sun. I also used it on my couch and it pulled up years worth of dirt and dust. Its kind of a pain to clean out afterwards, but it's completely worth it.

Does the job! Must have if you have pets

I almost returned this but it has been useful - esp after trying out each attachment. Turns out the biggest one doesn’t do much at all, the little one with bristles does an amazing job!!!! Works literal magic on carpets that have been spilled on/pooped on/vomited on. I like to use baking soda and vinegar on the spot after wiping up the mess with paper towels, followed up by this and it’s fantastic the result!

The forbidden lemonade

Bought this product for a recliner that was stained. Used it but didn’t take out all the stains. Now I used it for the carpet after adopting a dog from the shelter to which he peed twice and it sucked up the pee like no other. I could see the yellow go into the vacuum and may I say it’s disgusting. But it worked out so far. Deff would recommend for pet cleanup.

Stain Be Gone

This is my cat’s favorite chair. She sleeps in it every day and every night and has been for 7 years. As you can see, her oils seep into the fabric. It now looks like new thanks to the Hoover Clean Slate. I just followed the instructions and whallah. It is smaller than it looks online.

Comparison to little green machine review.

For many years I have owned a basic model Little Green machine, and for the most part was very happy with it. In fact several years ago when my first LGM stopped working I replaced it with my current LGM. However after a couple of years for some unknown reason it stopped spraying and started leaking. The one thing I have always disliked about the LGM is how difficult it was to clean the machine itself not the actual stain which it handled well. The tool head removes but dirt would get trapped under the front plastic shield and running it under the faucet wouldn’t budge it. To clean the hose I would usually run some clean water into my sink and then suck it up as if it were a stain to run clean water through the hose and then I would leave the machine running for a minute in the air to make sure all the water from the hose came out into the dirty water tank. The dirty water tank was also difficult to clean as you only had a small rubber gasket at the bottom to remove which made cleaning access almost impossible. So I am happy to report that these issues have been solved with my new Hoover Cleanslate. It just arrived and I tried it out on an old orange juice stain that had been set in for several months and turned the carpet black! See photo. Given that it was between the bed and a baseboard I was happy to test out the crevice tool (something my LGM didn’t have). I filled the clean tank to the small stain fill line, the crevice tool sprayed a single stream exactly where I directed it. I scrubbed for a couple of minutes and then turned the same head upside down and sucked all the dirt up. Miracle!!! All gone!!! See second photo of carpet which is still damp. Yes that good I couldn’t wait to review! I tested out the other heads, standard (which is slightly bigger than LGM) and the wide head. The spay while using these seems the same and is the width of the standard head. I absolutely loved how easy it was to clean the dirty tank with its removable lid and clean the house with the included hose rinse tool that stores neatly in the lid. I didn’t try out the pet head yet. Seems a little chunky and I am not sure it is worth spending the extra money for this brush as I think you could manage well without it, but I had wanted the standard size head as that was what I was used to with my LGM. Again now that I have it I will be keeping it, but I honestly think the basic Cleanslate model without the standard and pet head brush attachments would be enough. The only downside for me with the Cleanslate over the LGM is the access to the power button which is tucked away under the handle which is not a big deal, and the cord storage. This is very close to the hose which makes it a bit difficult to wind it up without getting caught on the hose storage. My only other wish would have been to have the rubber brush for the standard head as only a bristle brush is included unlike the wide head which comes with both options. However these small complaints are just that, small and I would hands down recommend the Cleanslate over the LGM.

So happy I chose this one!

So far it is a 5 star! When I shop for products I look at the 4 star reviews because those people like the product and give the best reviews. I didn't give it a perfect rating because I have only used it 3 times. I was tired of using my old big heavy carpet cleaner for my cat's little accidents. I am so glad I chose this one. It is smaller and easier to carry than my daughter's pet cleaning machine. I bought the pet tools too because I heard that the main tool had weaker suction. I used the big tool on my stairs and loved it! I will need the smaller tools to get in behind some furniture. I like the long cord and the clean up is so simple. Definitely worth the price!

Excelente compra

No estilo mucho a escribir comentarios con respecto a los productos que compró, sin embargo al tratar de elegir la mejor opción me ayudo mucho el leer los comentarios de otras personas. Compre esta aspiradora porque mis perros empezaron a tener "accidentes" en mi sillón y colchón de cama, anteriormente había recurrido a un servicio para la limpieza de colchón, pero aparte de caro no lo secaban al 100%, esta herramienta soluciono mi problema desde la primera vez, su potencia es muy buena, limpia y desmancha sin mucho esfuerzo. Lo ocupe también para lavar las vestiduras de mi carro y quede fascinada, sin dudarlo recomiendo este producto!

Llego mal

No lo pude utilizar porque el producto llego sucio, al abrir la caja el limpiador que traía estaba abierto y se regó en la caja, lo regrese el al día siguiente de recibirlo

Buen producto y económico

Muy buen producto, en ocasiones hay que dar más pasadas en las manchas que son difíciles de quitar y hay que comprar buenos productos para mantener su eficacia, muy económico por lo que recomiendo si no quieres comprar algo industrial
