Easy and fast meal preparation
This is my new favorite item in my kitchen! Ice used it everyday! I even used it to re-fry soggy fries from fast food places.

You get what you pay for
I should have known a product this inexpensive compared to others would not be worth it. The non-stick coating has come off the basket and the inside so I bought a silicone mat to put over it. It still worries me that it is putting out toxins I find the dial instead of digital temp control not easy to use. I set it somewhere close to 400 and try to never change it and it works for most recipes. I use mine primarily for meats because I am on a keto/carnivore diet. If I use it for too long it will smoke up the house. For example when cooking two or three batches of chicken wings which have a lot of fat, expect a lot of smoke. I have learned to drain the fat between batches and I still have to have the fan going on my cooktop and open doors and windows. If you do not think you will use it much and do not mind the non-stick coating coming off, it is not bad for the money. However, I am putting mine in a garage sale and moving up to a better model.

Easy to use....basket screws loosen and basket falls
Nice unit other than no real way to tighten the basket screws...they get loose and the bottom falls to the floor (usually hot, too). Otherwise decent unit that does what it says. Basket gets flaky after use (about 2 years now). On wish is that I can forward timer to end cook early if necessary. Would probably give 3.5 start if I could...I 'll round up for price.

Nothing lasts anymore
There was a time when you could spend 80 dollars on a kitchen device, and eventually pass it on to your children. I have a blender that my parents bought when I was a kid. I am 52 years old, and am still using that blender. However, the air fryer I bought about 18 months ago has stopped working. The machine cannot recognize that the basket has been inserted, and therefore it won't come on. Which is better than what it was doing last week, when we took the basket out and the machine didn't know it was gone, and just kept right on blowing hot air. Now understand, that for the last 10 months or so we have been running it without that pretty cover on the basket, because simply taking the basket out and putting it in a few hundred times caused the cover to pop off. And you will notice that the knob that you use to set the time is gone too. That broke a few months back. It just popped off in our hands while trying to turn it one day. But at least this was a Dash Air Fryer, and not a Dash Electric Skillet. I bought one of those at the same time I bought this air fryer, and it didn't last six months before it almost caught on fire. Seems the Dash brand name has a problem with longevity, at least with complicated appliances. We also bought a rice cooker from Amazon made by Dash around the same time, and it is still a little champ that gets used multiple times a day. So, this fryer was the little engine that could - until it couldn't. While it worked, it was great. But now that it doesn't work, it gets to pollute a landfill somewhere with its presence. So then, when considering whether of not to purchase this product, take the price of the product and divide it by 18. The resulting number will be the cost per month of usage you will get out of this product. If that cost per month satisfies you, then by all means - press that buy now button. But for the record, the cost per month on that blender my parents bought when I was kid has got to be less than a penny by now.

No electronic buttons
I purposely picked this air fryer this time for the simplicity of just two turn knobs: Heat & Time. I've had the ones w push button time/ heat settings- they don't last very long n the electronics burn out over time leaving you to cook on other guessed settings. I strongly suggest against purchasing a small basket air fryer. This one has plenty of room for cooking space n flipping. Color was an added bonus to plain black.

Ridiculously In Love
I’m hard-core in love with this machine! I’ve had it since December 2019, so five and a half months at the time of writing this review. It’s still going strong even after lots of pandemic-related usage. I live at high altitude where ovens take way longer to preheat. This machine takes three minutes to preheat (always optional, but it’s not bad at all to wait for), and items cook on average half the time the product descriptions recommend, sometimes plus one minute. I could wait ten minutes for my oven to preheat and cook taquitos for twelve minutes, or I could have them perfectly cooked, from cold machine to finished food, in nine minutes. I have barely scratched the surface of the possibilities with this machine, but I’ve cooked mainly nuggets, taquitos, pierogies, and tater tots in it. I’ve also made croissants (cook in three minutes), reheated Subway sandwiches (two or three minutes with crispy bread instead of soggy, angry-hot microwaved bread), toasted hoagie buns PERFECTLY for French dip sandwiches (three minutes, no preheating), and cooked chicken Parmesan (can’t remember the cooking time, but it was about 2/3 the recipe time), and reheated restaurant onion rings (those needed two minutes with no preheating, and I over-did them a little). I can cook a Totino’s Party Pizza, half at a time, for five minutes per half, from frozen. Slices of leftover pizza from a restaurant also reheat in a couple minutes. It’s the most convenient thing in the world to be able to simply twist a dial and have crispy-hot food in a flash. I tried bacon once and did not love the results. I NEVER have to add oil for cooking. The fat that’s already in the food comes out and lubricates enough. Directions do say to never use aerosol nonstick spray, so you should invest in an oil squirter if you think you’ll need it. You can also wipe oil around the interior with a paper towel. But really...you don’t much need it. The appliance IS large (6 qt) and sits kind of like a spaceship on the counter, but the Tiffany-mint color is attractive and I think it’s just the handsomest machine ever. One fair warning is that you MUST wipe out the basket after each use because the spatter WILL bake on, and it’s very hard to remove. I have mistreated my handsome machine and am paying for it with some areas that I can’t scrub hard enough to remove for the sake of the nonstick coating. I devoted some time to soaking and rubbing with a washcloth, and it helped, but didn’t work everywhere. Treat your machine well and clean it out while it’s still warm!

Great machine
Decent size, not super loud though most make some noise while running, I like that the basket separates for cleaning. One thing to note if you start the timer and it doesn’t seem to be working open and close the door, safety feature prevents running if open and I find I have to do that occasionally :) actually overdid my first batch of chicken so use the low estimate, this thing is a beast - haha

Crispy delicious food, cute color!
This is my first air fryer and I knew nothing about air fryers. I did some reading and decided to try this one out! I’m SO impressed; not only does it cook things quickly, evenly, and crispy; it’s actually cute sitting on my counter because of the color and style. I’ve only had it a week and have used it for so many things. Having kids means less time to spend on cooking (for me personally) so it’s nice for quick meals or to throw a couple of chicken fingers in if the kiddo doesn’t like what we’re eating. Can’t say enough about it! Having it for a short time, I can’t really comment on longevity, but hey for 80$ on Boxing Day I’d buy another if anything where to happen to it!

Bought as a House Warming Gift
I actually got a “thank you, I love it” so it must be good. This is the more recent version of the one I bought my other kid, who also loved it. Great brand. Highly recommend!!

Healthy Food and easy clean up.
So far I am pretty impressed with this cooker, from the simple single heat dial, the timer dial, dual indication lights for preheat/temp and the easy detachable basket which cleans very easy. I have done double layers of russet fries, the kids LOVE them, and chicken tenders which come out perfect every time. Best cooking product I have ever bought.
