Good for what is needed
This was a perfect buy for our rabbit. It is easy to install and works well for her to climb the ramp that was all plastic and difficult for her. She doesn't chew this so she must like it as well.

Reviewing the bottom liner tray, not the other accessories. (Though I do have a ramp liner which has held up great, lol) This is a nice liner so my rats aren't left just peeing on the plastic and standing around in their puddles all day (which would be unhealthy for everybody in the house, haha). Not super durable, but ... it's fleece and rats can chew through glass & steel, so I don't really expect it to be invincible. I reorder periodically when it's too beat up to even attempt to wash anymore. The price isn't too bad compared to the price for the amount of litter I'd otherwise be using in a deeper cage. The color is cute and it's easy to get on/off of the tray. Would recommend. Just beware that it's a repeat purchase, not a one-and-done, unless you have really well behaved rats .. and who does? lol

Just what I was looking for.
I have a 3 tier Prevue Pet Products cage. The cover was ment for a 2 teir but this comes down far enough for my liking. It is a little too big for the Length x Width of the footprint but again, it does what i need.

My came noticeably banged up and bent, but still works!
Mine came bent in package; was able to properly assemble except for one side, but still generally works. My chinchilla was an avid plastic tray chewer-- this has pretty much stopped that behavior. She sometimes yanks or digs as the metal, but I've put some ledges right above the nonsecured side. That has seeme to be effective in preventing her from removing it. Definitely worth getting if you're right to prevent your pet from eating the plastic tray. I would say effectiveness for keeping bedding and other things inside the cage is minimal, at least with chinchillas. Chinchillas are really good at kickflipping stuff around.

Works as intended.
Cover works like a cover. Issue with it is that it's super hard to get the velcro to connect and when it's not completely connected the rats are able to grab it with their little hands of chaos and chew holes in it. Actually, even with it connected the super motivated one still managed to pull it in and eat it. Rats be rats.

Bottom Pan Cover or nice chew toy for Fancy Rats?
This is a weekly expense for our family, but I am still willing to do it. Our fancy rats smelled terrible. I mean terrible. As with most pets, I - as the mom, have now been left taking care of them. I researched why they smelled so badly and came to the conclusion that maybe I was keeping the cage too clean. I also read that fleece can absorb their smell and make them more comfortable so they are not as likely to scent mark. So, I added fleece to the bottom of the Critter Nation cage by getting the pan liner. The other two shelves are bare and I wipe them down with a half water/half vinegar solution almost every day. Our smell issue is pretty much gone. Product Details. This fleece is a nice comfortable size. Having purchased it 20 times now, I can speak well for it. It has a velcro closure on one end. It is glorious when you install a fresh new one - like new socks. You can put the purple or the blue size up. I alternate the colors, but I always try to do the contrasting color on the ramp to help avoid any accidents. (We have had a rat fall before.) You can wash it in the washing machine, but I would rather not because they are gross in the rat-way when you take them off. It also fits fine with the wonky bottom rails that critter nation sells. It comes in a sturdy plastic bag with a button open closure almost like bedding, so it is really easy to get out and use right away. Why buy so many? This thing gets a hole chewed in it in 1 day. It must be yummy or something. If your rats chew like our little Stink-Puffs, be prepared to buy it often or find something else. My two "fancy" street rats go under the liner and have Fight Club. I can often hear someone squeaking under there. They can always get out if they want to though. We have never had a issue with a rat getting stuck under the liner because they chewed a hole in it. My conclusion is that I really like this product. I wish it lasted longer. Honestly I think it would get chewed up no matter how thick the fleece was. For me, I am willing to throw money at the problem to make it easier, stink less, and save time. These "disposable" liners work for us.

Shocking!
I cannot believe all of the positive reviews for this product, it makes taking the trays out for cleaning (which you should all be doing with small animals periodically) near impossible because it's extends the width so that it catches as it comes out ... sometimes dragging everything else out with it and scratching the cage itself. It's flimsy and doesn't stop their urine from leaking if they are corner-wetters because it's not one-single piece but rather individual pieces slotted next to each other. The 'clips' if you can call them that, bend and deform with use (we gave it one week and they were already a mess). I am just disgusted at the quality of something purpose built for what is a great cage.

Reduces mess
I have been using this since September and I am quite pleased with it. It is not, as I initially thought, a full tray (I didn't t read the description properly). Its a seres metal strips that clip on to your existing tray leaving a gap round the edge. I was initially worried about 'stinky things' getting stuck in the gap, but they do brush away quite easily and its survived a weekly hosing down without going rusty (early days I know). The reason it is 4 stars and not 5 it is a bit flimsy, was a bit of a pain to fit and I am a bit concerned about how on earth I will remove it without it breaking. Bottom line it does work! I have three young girls (rats) who are typical rats and can be a bit messy, the guard has significantly reduced the amount of bedding, food and other such lovely gifts they would normally attempt to throw on the floor. I previously had a Savic Rat Royale and the critter nation (with the guard fitted) is much cleaner

My rats love it!
I got this as a handy ladder for my rats for when they want to climb in and out of their high cage. Its really sturdy and the fabric sleeve is easy to remove and wash, as well as stable enough to stay attached and not slip off. My rats love it, running up and down, bouncing on it, and it remains firm and strong for them. Perfect as a platform or ladder for your pets to get around and have some free time!

I use this so my young male chinchilla so he can run in and out of his cage for his "playtime" outside his cage. The ladder is super rigid and is greatly made. The fleece is so soft when washed. Awesome products. Highly recommended. Arrived quicker than expected. My little "MASH" loves is

Fits top shelf too with a little tuck in
Unfortunately they don't make a cover for the upper shelf, which is what I wanted, so I took a chance and bought one anyway. Easily popped tray in and velcro'd up. Tucked corner in where hole to go to lower level is and hey presto! Done! Have just ordered a 2nd one.
