Way better than original

Our original jacks on a brand new Vintage Cruiser folded like a wet noodle the first time we used them, so I was reluctant to buy anything from RV center or internet because they all look the same and claim to be same weight rating, however finally ordered these, which are half the price of the ones at the local camper place and twice as heavy at the original ones that came with the camper, so we are very happy with the result

Just what I wanted and them made it better.

We camp in a 24 foot Class C RV. As we arrive to our sight, we attempt to find the most level spot in the camp site using our LevelMatePRO. When we need to make any adjustments we use the Anderson leveling system. Now the best part. Since this RV does not have self leveling jacks, once it’s set for camp it tends to still rock ‘n’ roll side to side when we move about inside the RV. We decided to install these Camco Eaz-Lift 7,500 lbs 24 inch Heavy-Duty Scissor Jacks on the main Frame rails of the chassis. We were able to mount them in an area where they tucked away very nicely with ample clearance distance from the roadway. We added ¼ inch heave duty rubber to the landing pads to help give the jack pads better grip. Since the frame rails are not on the outer edge of the RV like on trailers, we made an extended crank handle in case we forgot to bring our drill crank. When we’re happy with the RV level, we crank down the stabilizer jacks and the RV is rock steady with no movement at all. We truly are happy campers now.

Great product.

These jacks seem to be well made. Installation is pretty easy for anyone with basic mechanical ability. They function well and easily. Some of the pictures are deceiving as they show a manual for opporating the jacks, but it is not included. The drill adapter, which is included, works well but only works in a drill. The adapter is built like a drill bit with three flat sides. It is not difficult to put together a manual option, or to use an impact wrench, as the arbor bolt on the jacks use a 3/4 inch or 19mm socket.

Expensive for what they are

These are really meant to be stabilizer jacks. They are not very good for lifting any loads. Thread pitch on acme screw is coarse. It moves fast, but lifts difficult. I was unimpressed for the money.

Exactly what I wanted easy install.

Bolt holes lined up perfectly with old ones, did have to drill old holes bigger, new bolts were bigger, they seem sturdy and well built, heavy enough to stabilize the fifth wheel with ease, just what I wanted would recommend.

Well worth the money.

Well made and sturdy. Various holes in the brackets for different mounting options. I recommended using an impact driver and self tapping screws so you don’t have to drill pilot holes in the RV frame.

Some easy modifications necessary (in my case)

Installed the jacks (5000 lb rating) to the front positions of the trailer the day they arrived. The mounting brackets did not exactly match the existing jacks (2500 lb rating) that were being replaced, so some drilling was necessary. I found it was easiest to modify the brackets on the jacks rather than the underside of the travel trailer. I measured my original jacks but made a mistake and should have ordered the 24" jacks, but luckily found the 20" jacks are adequate for my usage. These jacks are visibly much more robust than the jacks that were supplied with my travel trailer and feel much more secure when walking through the trailer after hookup at campsites. I've also found that they are strong enough to physically lift the trailer for short periods where necessary to assist in the disconnection of the TT tongue from the TW ball. When my rear jacks need replacement I will definitely order a second pair.

I'm very happy with this jack and it showed up very quickly also

This jack is a great price and was easy to install with the hardware that was provided but I also welded it on to the trailer frame for extra security.

Great jacks

They worked so well I bought another pair to replace the ones on the other end of the trailer. The self threading bolts did not work well on the trailer frame I have so I drilled holes and bolted it right through the frame.

The bolting holes never matched but not an issue being was easy to drill two of the four.

Very sturdy and well made. Great product for my 32 ft travel trailer.
