Strong!

We ordered a set of these to help stabilize a portable stage. When you look at them, they don't seem like they would hold a lot of weight, but I was wrong! I love them! They are so solid that I had to lower a few of them down because I accidentally lifted the stage off the ground! They weren't quite tall enough for what I needed, but I knew that before I ordered them, so I just set them on bricks or concrete blocks and they are just fine. I was actually under the stage tightening some things, and I kept bumping into them, and they didn't budge! Such a great price for such a sturdy investment!

Keeps my enclosed trailer from tipping over

I bought these to support the rear end of my enclosed trailer. When loading heavy items into an empty trailer, it would tip backwards and slam back down. These work great. Rated weight is more than enough for my needs. I will say the design is extremely cheap though. The nut/bolt removes entirely from the stand. It can be really tricky getting it setup so there is no permanent connection between the base and the adjustable portion. During storage and transport, these will separate and result in a search for the parts.

Well built, heavy duty jacks

Perfect replacement for the scissors jacks that were ripped off my camper. Compact and easy to store away yet very strong and stable. Would recommend to anyone wanting an alternative to the factory installed jacks.

A miracle

Along with X Chocks, these eliminate about 90% of any trailer sway even with 4 kids and 2 adults in a 32’ travel trailer. Such a no brainer! Ditch the expensive automatic levelers, these things are better.

Mostly good product

Bought a set of the aluminum jack stands for use with my cargo trailer. Good price, came fast (prime rocks), only one small problem. The stands come with a nut that fits the threaded shaft to lower and raise the shaft. One of the nuts was the wrong size. It did fit the threads on the shaft, but the nut was too big to drop into the socket of the stand. The other three nuts were the correct size and they dropped into the socket and the 3 stands work just fine for my application. I called Camco to see if they could send me another nut of the proper size, and was told they don't have extra. I was told I could get one at any hardware store, but that size is not a normal stock item for most hardware stores. Then he suggested that I could order another whole set of stands and get one of the nuts from that set and then send the whole set back. That just doesn't seem right to me, so that solution is out. After that he was out of ideas, so the problem is back in my court. I guess I'll see if I can find a nut of the proper size and thread pattern locally or just make do. This is why I gave the item a 4 star rating, rather than 5. I will probably try and stay away from items branded Camco, from now on. rf

Good and reliable for price

The media could not be loaded. I bought a bunch of these to stabilize my house. They worked great. I kept in mind that they only carry 6,000 lbs so I spread them out about 2-3 feet away from each other. They worked great despite dragging them through the dirt.

Cheaper price then your large box store.

We bought our rv, which doesn't come with front stabilizers. So inside the trailer it felt like you have vertigo. The stabilizers Jack's fix this problem. Very easy to use and lightweight.
