Review from a disabled dude.
Ok I have had this commode for about a month now and I am ready to review. First let me explain why I got this to put it in perspective. I am not looking for sorrow or thoughts & prayers etc. I am currently 49 years old and I used to be very athletic and played allllllll kindsa sports as long as it was running. In 2003 I came down with Relapse Remitting Multiple Sclerosis. It was misdiagnosed so things just got worse and worse. In 2017 it developed into Primary Progressive MS and things spiraled downhill very quick. I can barely walk now, my balance is non existent etc. My usual bathroom is about 15 feet away and after falling various times I can no longer make it to there. I ended up holding "stuff" in and that was a definite "no no" because I was slowly poisoning myself and getting very close to renal sepsis and potentially dying. #2 does eventually end up coming out but it is in your undergarments. I ended up going like that for about a month then I figured there has to be something better. Enter this commode. Before MS I was 5'9" and about 150 lbs. I can barely stand now but I have lost quite a bit of weight. I am about 120 lbs now. I AM VERY THIN!!!! Keep that in mind. As far as sturdiness and construction this is great. The seat is hard and don't expect to get comfortable on it while using. For myself with difficulty with standing it does sit kind of low. Remember I am not tall. I had to put this in my room and if I could still move around like normal etc I would DEFINITELY put this on a makeshift platform to rise it up about 6". The seat and the seat opening is VERY small. Remember I am thin and even still when I do sit on it I cover the entire opening of the seat. Now this is for the guys! If you are "above average" down below there are problems. You are pressed up against the front which makes urinating "interesting" and if you are not careful while sitting you can FULL ON sit down on the testes (I did it twice) and there is no give with the seat but 100% pain! Or if there is water in the bottom of the bowl to aid in the next flush and you do not want yourself pressed up against the front and you re-situate yourself you will be in the water. As long as the lid is closed it will seal in odor but I have noticed that as soon as the top cover/ lid is opened up to use some of the odor will come out. The push pump for the "flush"/ rinse is very difficult to push. Remember I have PPMS and lost strength etc so it might be just me. I noticed that after the "flush" if you put a few inches of water after the use it drastically makes the next flush and cleaning easier. I suggest that after using for about a week gasses do build up and if not done right gasses and liquids will pop up. I usually "flush" while I am sitting on it and the "flush" and SLOWLY opening the flush piston to burp the gasses. I apologize if someone was looking for a review for camping or whatever I am speaking from a disabled person and not able to make it to my bathroom. I tried to answer any questions that were not answered for me as I was looking for a commode. ****** Jan 20, 2023 ~~~~~~ update ~~~~~~ I still have no complaints about this but some tips I now have. I have used this almost every day since October of 2022. I no longer put tissue inside of the tank. I now take the used tissue and put inside of the plastic bags almost all of us have from the grocery store? Yes those bags under your sink finally has use. ???? BUT! BUT! Be sure to tie that bag in a tight knot after each use. The paper in the tank makes for a difficult and messy emptying. The included fresh tabs were dust and did nothing when used. I found that after filling the tank up a few tablespoons of bleach (slight pour) works WONDERS! It breaks the solids down and it is like smelling an indoor pool when flushed. ???? I do clean it with toilet bowl cleaner and a sponge. It is ports and will/ does trap odors. The cleaner fixes that real quick because the water only trickles down one side. It does not get the entire bowl. A few sprays of toilet bowl cleaner and a few rubs on the side rectifies that problem. If you have bleach in the water (like me) make sure the cleaner DOES NOT have ammonia in it. Unless you wanna create a poisonous gas. Just be sure of that and you will be fine. The cleaner also lubricates the flusher without damaging the seal for the odor. The side latches are JUNK though.

Live in a garage w/o plumbing this is essential!
I live in a garage without plumbing so a toilet like this that works properly and doesn’t leak is essential. I was a little iffy after having bought four other toilets from other companies that all leaked and then I saw this one and I did read one comment with a complaint of leaking so I was excruciatingly worried going into this. However this is the best toilet by far! We use it daily and it does NOT leak at all! Also comparing to toilets of the past this one is amazing because so far having owned it a couple of months when you flush it does NOT spray water back at you which is amazing. (For people that do have that problem just keep the toilet seat down and don’t get a toilet cover and clean frequently) The other huge plus is that a toilet seat cover can also be fitted for comfort on this model as seen in pictures, a standard sized one, and it’s easy to remove and wash. Got one on vipon for a couple dollars using the amazon code from vipon. It really helps with the feel that this is a real toilet with plumbing. As for dumping I love this toilet, for how it doesn’t have a fold out spout which in my experience usually becomes a leaking problem in the future. This one is just a screw off cap for easy disposal of wastes. We do not go number two in this, but walk the distance to a house with plumbing for that. We do however go number one (pee) in this everyday for over two months and a family of three with guests every now and then and it works great! The seal that you push open to flush is just wonderful and that it doesn’t even leak through. With my old toilet the urine would drain down into the basin before I even opened the lever to flush it down and this one does not. It stays put only until you flush. That is very nice. The flusher on this toilet is really nice but if I had to think of one thing negative, it would be that this flusher doesn’t always adequately flush it on one flush. (Which is one pump pushing down) It’s a small Vice, but totally workable but basically you just have to flush or pump the flusher a couple of times especially if you did a small pee when there is more toilet paper than pee. **Advice to those that have never owned one of these: Make sure you thoroughly flush toilet paper down the hatch into the basin. Talk to your kids and make sure of this because speaking with experience it’s really bad for the toilet paper to get caught in the gasket and that’s when sometimes leaking or draining problems ensue. ** Just make sure all toilet paper is throughly flushed well.**. **Another tip is if using daily always dump on the third day. You don’t want it to get too full. In my experience that is another reason for leaking problems when letting the tank get too full. ** I will be giving an update if I have any issues. Highly recommend this toilet! Hope this helps someone, as I wish someone would of told me this.

Sturdy and easy to use
Bought this for the cottage as we do not have running water in the winter. So far so good. 3rd weekend using it. I dont put any toilet paper in it and empty it directly in our holding tank. Deodorizing pucks recommended as it help break down waste and does help with smell. I used it without the deodorizer and there was a bit of odor. Good buy as it extends our use comfortably at the cottage.

Me parece que es un sanitario bien hecho con buenos acabados. Se aprecia durable y es práctico en general. Como aparece en la imagen, cuenta con una tapa, asiento y dos piezas: la superior para el agua de servicio y la inferior para los desechos. El tanque superior desagua mediante un botón de presión por lo que se expele el agua en la taza del inodoro. El paquete cuenta con tres bolsitas de químicos para tratar el agua sucia. Creo que la capacidad del tanque es suficiente para uso casual por una personal. Las desventajas que tiene el producto son dos principalmente, el fondo de la tasa no es muy profundo y cualquier varón lo notará. El desagüe se halla muy en el centro y es algo que se debe tener en cuenta si no se desea limpiar frecuentemente la taza. Antes de hacer uso del mismo hay que jalar una palanca que abre la trampilla del recipiente inferior, que da acceso directo a los residuos y su olor. Soy de estatura media baja y complexión media, para mí es cómodo usarlo, pero una persona más alta o de mayor amplitud puede tener problemas para sentirse cómodo en el pequeño asiento. La tapa para vaciar el contenedor de desechos es de rosca y amplia, lo que permite vaciarla rápidamente. No es una labor placentera, pero hay que tenerlo en cuenta si se va a usar este tipo de aditamentos.

Vale la pena
El uso que yo le doy, es para una casa de campo de dos niveles donde no tienen baño en la planta alta donde se localizan las recamaras y con la finalidad de no estar bajado al primer nivel en las noches lo colocamos en la recamara que no se utiliza resultando cómodo y práctico. El detalle que puede ser un poco incomodo es el lavarlo, ya que al remojarlo con agua y algún cepillo es un poco difícil el retirar el agua restante por tener varios recovecos (cavidades) que retienen el agua.

Nada como tu propio sanitario
Esto cambia totalmente tu experiencia de camping, debería tener algún tipo de adaptador para su fácil limpieza y no ver los líquidos que salen
