Nice holder for coffee cup
My mom likes to go to activities at the senior center and uses a "drive" walker when there. When they serve breakfast / lunch, she puts the food plate on the walker seat but she needed somewhere to put her coffee or tea. I looked at several cup holders and was not sure they would work. When I saw this one that is "drive" brand, I decided to give it a try. I easily installed it on the walker below the handle bars. Although it is slanted (due to walker bars being slanted), it is still upright enough to safely hold a coffee cup or plastic cup of tea.

If you have limited hand mobility and or arthritis, you're going to need assistance!
OMG! I had a heck of a time installing this! It took 2 people and 30 minutes. This item is intended for walkers and wheelchairs. With that said, I would think the majority of customers buying this product would be disabled in some way or elderly, right? The able bodied person(s) had no consideration for this fact when they created this design. I have a DRIVE brand walker and wheelchair, so I figured I wouldn't have any problems and that it would be fast and easy. NOPE! If you have limited hand mobility and or arthritis, you're going to need assistance from a patient loved one, lol. The screw that comes with it is short for a reason, but it will require you to have to bend (push together) the U shaped plastic bracket in hopes that the knob will catch (2 person job). I succeeded in the end, but upon going out and purchasing a medium sized Dunkin Donuts coffee, I discovered that I had to shove a ton of napkins between the cup and holder just to keep it from moving and spilling. I'm going to have to Macgyver something for future uses so that when I use the cup shown in the picture, it won't move around and or fall out. For the price, I'll deal with it, but I might have to buy another one for my wheelchair, cause there's no way I'm taking that off and going through that hassle every single time! So 22 dollars instead? I don't know. we'll see how this one holds up. Till then, I can't wait for products that are marketed towards disabled people to be actually made with consideration for said people.

Appears to be well made but bolt does not fit a DRIVE Cruiser iii Wheelchair
For some reason the bolt supplied with the DRIVE cup holder is a tad too short for the screw on knob to work. I will have to get a longer bolt and probably a wing nut to get it to work on the DRIVE Cruiser iii Wheelchair we just bought for my mother who is 81yrs old. I want to be able to take it on and off the chair arm tube easily and with the thin insert, and depth of the nut in the screw on knob, the supplied bolt is about 1/4" too short. They supply a thick and thin rubberized insert with dimples to hold in place and even the thin one will not allow the nut in the knob too grab the threads of the bolt. Other than that it seem to be well made.

Installing flexible spacer(s) into clamp
I attached this product to a Drive rollator. There are two flexible spacers that come with the holder that can be used to securely clamp the holder to the pipe frame. At first I tried installing one spacer and clamp together, but I was unable to fasten the nut to the bolt since the clamp would not close enough to thread the nut onto the bolt. I then attached the clamp to the frame without the spacer and threaded the nut onto the bolt without tightening down on the clamp. With the clamp loosely attached to the pipe frame I positioned a spacer between the clamp and the pipe frame. It was a snug fit sliding the spacer into place but, once in position I was able to tighten the clamp onto the pipe frame. So far it works.

SOO tough to install, but finally works
Works well on the front (under armrest) of mom's wheelchair so she can carry a bottle of water around. It took me many tries and a lot of patience plus an extra set of pliers to get this thing installed. It looks easy, but to wrap around the post, the holes don't line up and need extra force to pull them together and get the bolt threaded.

Just what's need when you're out and about - Coffee, and a safe place to keep it :-)
Great addition for my rollator, sturdy and light weight. Is easy to attach and can be angled if required. One thing I would note is that it seems to be made for rounded bars whereas the bars on my rollator are almost flat. This did not cause problems though as it was still attached easily and securely, there are 2 small rubber pieces included, which I assume are for additional grip if needed. Very happy with this, have used when out and about already. Fast delivery too, Thank You.

Didn't fit my Chair
Didn't fit my Freedom Chair A08l. The screw is way to small. Waste of money.

Fits my wheel chair with a bit of manoeuvring. Not the cup holder at fault.

otherwise its sturdy, has adjustable width grip
I purchased this to hold a 500ml bottle of drink, my fault it only holds a can or baby type cup, so have had to change my drinking vessel, otherwise its sturdy, has adjustable width grip.

Not universal!!!!
Was very disappointed with this product, didnt critisise it badly, but it didnt fit. Obiously my comments went straight to the seller. I have been too ill to return it, and cant find the packaging anyway. The seller sent me a curt email just saying 'why didnt you return it if it didint fit?' whenever I have had the slightest problem with an Amazon retailer they have bent over backwards to be polite, kind and anxious to put things right. which has lead me to feel valued and continue to order from them. This produce is not Universal (and I now see other clients have said the same thing.)It was way too small to attach to either my wheelchair or walker. This company have no compassion for disabled people, nor manners!
