Affordable, Not Very Durable

I haven't used these a whole lot and they stay in a pretty safe space, but they now get stuck closed, which I also had happen with a pair of their snips. It seems if these aren't very strong against falls or weight being on them at all. The black part on the handles rub together and cause it to stick. They still work, but definitely not as easy as new. They also don't seem to take advantage of all 5 blades either, for the price though, good tool to start out with.

Made downspouts a breeze

These crimpers did exactly what they were supposed to do, and did it very well. Made working on downspouts a simple process, and they feel very sturdy.

Sturdy but wasn't impressed

I bought these for crimping gutters to get them to fit together. They seem very sturdy but I wasn't impressed with how the crimp works. I don't crimp metal so have nothing to compare it to but I expected these to work a little better. I will likely return and buy something different.

Great HVAC crimper.

Needed to crimp some HVAC vents and these were perfect for that. It allowed me to adjust my HVAC vents to another direction for my basement renovation. Very happy with it.

Disappointed

Got busy and didn't get a chance to use these for several months and when I did found that they do not crimp the metal as they should. Not sure if I could return them still but would if I could. Having the Wiss name on it my expectations were higher, i'm now thinking knock off??

Wish I'd had this gender-changer crimper a long time ago!

This handy set of crimping pliers works well on the dryer vent metal tubing I'm trying to mate with in-place pipe. Two female ends, creating by cutting to size, don't join very well. This crimper solves the problem by turning one of the female ends into a right-size-diameter male end. Should've had this many years ago!

Solid crimper that does the job done right.

I bought them for my hvac project need to cut my 6” round duct every 30” to make them fit between joist. Lot of crimping was done in a fairly fast time. Great tool solid construction! Will recommend them to all hvac guy out there!

Gutter guys take note! Does not make deep enough crimps for downspouts.

I like the shortness of the blades, but alas, they do not push deep enough to properly crimp the downspouts so they will slide together properly. Maybe there is a way to adjust it that I'm missing, but not useful for my purposes so far. Tool is as expected otherwise, quality seems fine.
