Great for cards
Love that is a block…no need to tape down. Takes watercolor paint wonderfully. And not all watercolor paper companies carry this item.

Not 100% cotton
The paper is okay considering it is not 100% cotton, but has kinda a weird feel to it. There are better papers to use for water color.

Exceptional
This paper is amazingly beautiful, so much so that I googled just who this company is. This is what I found out: they have been making paper since 1557 and over the centuries, the greatest artists and designers have used the Canson® papers: Delacroix, Van Gogh, Degas, Matisse, Picasso, Dali, Warhol, Jean-Michel Alberola, Toguo, Philippe Starck, Yan Pei-Ming ... Amazing! The quality of the paper is exceptional. This is the first time I've used a block. I love the way the pressure holds the paper so there's no distressing or warping. This is now my paper of choice. I love it.

Decent
The paper is amazing quality but it’s hard to separate the paper. From what I saw on mine there was no space for a pallet knife to slide in and take it off the rest. If you can get it off it’s awesome for the price.

Good quality and value
I am a beginner at watercolor painting. I read the reviews on several watercolor paper products before choosing this one. I am very happy with the thickness and quality. It was a very reasonable price as well. I like buying the paper in a block. It keeps the paper very flat and in good shape.

Nice Paper -- Issues with packaging
This would have been a 5 star review -- but... The paper is really nice -- nice weight, nice texture and just what you want in a watercolor paper Here is the but -- they glued all four sides of the paper together so you literally have to get a blade or something to get between the sheets of paper and cut them apart -- and then after you do that so you can use just one sheet all the edges of the paper are sticky/gummy with the glue. I wouldn't recommend because of the glue issue.

Practice Pad
I was disappointed in this Canson Watercolor pad. It may be good for beginners, planning stages or quick studies - but it does not have enough absorbency for serious watercolor painting. I spent several frustrating hours trying to get the effect I wanted because the paint was slipping off the paper and the water made the paper buckle. I have used Canson before and did not have these issues. I don't know if they changed the formula or I changed my painting style. But, if you want the best results, better to buy better supplies- I'm sticking to Arches 156 or 300 lb from now on,

Tiny paintings!
I’ve never painted on this size paper before and I love it. Good quality paper. I love the block form. I’ve put out 4 paintings that I love. Easy to frame this size. On a side note, I’ve also used one of the sheets for a test paper for a larger painting.

Un peu trop collé
Le papier est fidèle à un vrai canson aquarelle, seulement comme tout bon papier épais, il est difficile de détacher les pages sans abimer celle du dessous, à faire avec précautions

The block is the best any very easy to use
This is the best for me doesn't ball up when you spread out the colours with water I use it all the time. If you want to shop around you will find some cheaper.I like to order from Amazon fast and easy

My favourite.
Canson is not known for being the best but for non professionals it’s my favourite paper. I use watercolour and mixed media and it’s sturdy and good. Also the paper has two different levels of grit depending on which side you use which is super handy
