Definitely good but paper is fragile and will tear if taped or is wet more than once
This paper works great for watercolor. It doesnt have a lot of texture to it like arches or baohong paper does but it's still very absorbent and works just as well. The only issue I have with it is the paper tears a lot easier than other brands. I cant use painter tape on it because of the tearing. I have washi tape that works better but it's always lifting. Another positive is every pad comes in a block and it has 15 sheets instead of the normal 12. It's much more affordable than most watercolor paper and being 100% cotton makes it work really great when using watercolors. They also come in a variety of sizes that do get more expensive as they get larger but are still considerably cheaper than other leading brands like arches. I have already gone through half a dozen of these pads and still have another three or four to go through. I will continue to purchase this paper. It's up there with canson heritage in terms of quality and value. Just be aware that you CAN NOT tape this paper without it tearing on you. It won't matter what kind of tape you use, it will tear. It also can't handle layers of paint and water so if you are planning a painting that requires you to wet the paper more than once in any areas, use a different paper. It doesn't matter if it's cold pressed, hot pressed, or even the super thick kind, the paper will tear. It's very fragile in that sense.

Do not use frisket or tape
The paper is nice for doing wet on wet paintings. The paint practically runs across the paper. This paper is not good if you like to use Frisket or other masking fluid to block off areas. It is also not good if you like to use Nitto tape for a clean white border. The paper tears easily when removing both the Frisket and the Tape. I will go back to Fabriano paper. I won't purchase more of this.

Not the best block but very good paper
Ok. So here’s my disclaimer; this paper is very high quality and great to watercolor paint on. But, when you remove the top sheet you are left with this gummy mess on the edge of the paper and the block that you have to pick and roll off. It’s annoying and for the price I expect a better quality material holding the block together. Fluid Easy Block is better. Fluid still leaves a strip of the adhesive on the block but you can easily cut it with a box knife or a razor. Unfortunately the paper tears easily if you are not careful removing the sheet off of the Fluid Block. The best block I have found that is a similar price point to both the Legion Stonehenge and Fluid is Blick Premier Watercolor Block. The paper is great quality a new when you remove your finished piece from the block it comes off so easily without leaving an edge on the block or your paper. Go Dick Blick!

My NEW Professional Watercolor Paper
The media could not be loaded. Easy to find opening to separate from the block. It's located to the left of block behind binding. Awesome quality and worth the little upgrade of money for great quality! If you're like me, on a budget and can't see forking out almost $100 for the hyped up Arches professional paper, THIS is what you need! Did everything it was supposed to and I was impressed fully. Totally recommend to those watercolor beginner's like myself!

Purchased at the recommendation of a YouTube personality.
Great paper but the price has me being more judicious with the use. I practice on cheaper paper and if I hate the first use, I flip it over and use the clean side for practice.

Quality, Sturdy, Perfect Tooth & Sizing
This is my new 'go to' cold press watercolor paper. I love everything about it: the tooth, the amount of sizing, and especially the sturdiness that holds up to wet-on-wet application.

Love this paper! It holds up to multiple layers of paint and does not pill! I have also removed paint with no issues. I feel this paper makes it easier to get the results I want. I am ordering more and in several sizes. I am so glad Jenna Rainey recommended this paper on her tutorial and I gave it a try!

Legion Stonehenge Aqua Watercolour Block, 7x10, White 15 Piece.
I have heard alot about this brand and was looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately I found this paper gritty and non- performing. Of course I was dissapointed but figureed I received a bad lot. Will retry in a while.

This is incorrectly described
The product is sold as 600gsm watercolor paper but it is in fact 300gsm only! Poor form Amazon it is very obvious now that I have received this and checked the product is as per the photo, not your description. Suggest you fix this and refund my money !
