Doesn't bleed through
I was a bit nervous buying this, since the reviews were really mixed on whether markers bled through or not. Now that I've used it, I am really glad I took the risk and bought it, because this paper is the best I've tried for alcohol based markers. What people are actually complaining about when they say markers bleed through is that the paper is see-through; it's really thin. This is actually something you want, because it means less ink is absorbed into the paper and your markers (which are usually quite expensive) will last longer. There is a noticeable difference when coloring on this paper versus the 199 gsm card stock I was using before. More ink rests on top of the paper (because it's so thin) and so it is easier to push this ink around and blend it. All of my markers have preformed better, including Copics, Ohuhus, and other cheap off brand markers. If you want a paper that you can color on both sides of without the marker showing through, this is not it, but this is one of the best papers for alcohol markers otherwise.

Nice marker paper that holds up well for blending but reveals some texture
This is a decent paper for alcohol marker but it's not my favorite. First, the pros - this paper is thick, strong and doesn't bleed. Most importantly, alcohol markers blend well on top and don't feather at all, which makes it easy to get the exact shape you want. A massive con though - this paper can show HORRIBLE texture if you layer too much marker into it. I have no idea why, but it definitely makes the drawing look a bit... ugly. Also, unfortunately, colors seem pretty dull (once dry) on this paper. I don't know if it's because the paper is an off-white to begin with or if it soaks up a lot of ink, but keep that in mind if you prefer super bright, saturated colors.

This paper is good but it is not perfect
This paper is good but it is not perfect. The most important detail to take note is that it is bleed resistant, not bleed proof. The reason it’s bleed resistant is so that the paper can absorb the ink and not have the ink pool on the surface which causes the ink to spread. So be careful when you go over an area to do some blending. I’m okay that the paper is not bleed proof because even on thin marker paper like Canson Pro Layout Marker paper bleeds when you go over an area a lot. Other than the bleeding ink on paper, this marker paper is nice. I recommend asking Strathmore for some sample paper to try it out. I was able to get some sample paper and I liked it. To me, the paper is nice. It’s smooth and thick. Although it’s says 50 lbs, it’s pretty thick like cardstock. I’m glad I got to try it out because markers blends nice on this paper. If you want thicker paper, try out Bristol Smooth paper. It’s very thick and it also handles markers well.

Works great with markers
I got these for my granddaughter who likes doodle art and had nice markers. She is 14 and loves the new paper, she says the markers work so much better on this paper. She has done some beautiful doodle art using this paper. It shows the right supplies makes the difference in finished project.

Not bad
The paper is really thick and will not bleed through at all onto other paper or whatever surface you’re using. But this paper is so thick it’s almost like cardstock. It’s almost impossible to blend on this paper, it takes a long time. If you have to marker render for homework do not buy this under any circumstances unless you want to cry over the fact that your drawings look like crap.

Excellent with Pencil, Ink, & Pro-Markers
Worked great with pencil, ink and professional grade alcohol based markers. Bled through enough that you can see it on the reverse side, but not enough to transfer onto the subsequent sheet or to my drafting desk. The paper is good enough that the markers did not spread beyond the lines like they do on regular sketch paper. I erased the pencil lines after inking without any noticeable change to the consistency or smoothness of the paper. If you are into drawing comic or manga/anime style art work, I would recommend this paper. I did not use any other media other than the three mentioned above.

Good
Is good for alcohol markers since they bleed in regular paper a lot. In this it will still bleed but will almost not affect the next page. I put a little page under just in case.
