You can erase colored pencil with any type eraser!
I am a colored pencil artist who has been frustrated because one mistake and you have to start over with most paper. But Canson's White drawing paper is fantastic! It is so strong and allows me to be more free with my drawings. Blends beautifully, gives a soft, not too smooth look for colored pencil and graphite. Love, Love love this paper! Oh yes, it is very affordable and better quality than the paper that says it is made for colored pencil, exclusively. Try it!

High quality.
I reserve this paper for pencil and color pencil. Excellent surface with a fine, homogeneous tooth. I'm sure it would take fineliner pens very well, but I've yet to try them.

Good quality - Arrived damaged
- Shipped in a bag not a box and sustained damage in shipping in the form of a major bend in the metal rings and 5 small dents present in every sheet of paper - Pencil Doesn't erase as well as expected considering it claims to be "erasable" on the front + Overall paper quality looks and feels nice +The off white color is subtle and only really apparent next to something lighter. You can see the difference when using white materials on a blank sheet unlike most papers. Given the shipping damage I don't plan to use this for any final drawings anymore. Overall it seems great with dry media so far but If you try to erase darker graphite marks it leaves a good bit behind. It seemed to hold up pretty well with lighter applications of wet media but it will warp if you oversaturate it.

Decent for the price
Overall not a bad sketch book. The reason for 4/5 is for two minor things - one of which isn’t entirely the pads fault. 1. Really wish it had a hard cover to keep the pages a bit more protected - the back is solid, but the actual cover is thin crap which doesn’t hold up well if you’re like me and carry it with you everywhere. 2. I’m mostly using it for graphite artwork - the pages don’t seem to hold the graphite exceptionally well. Despite my best and most meticulous efforts the pages smudge like crazy. This might work well if you use a lot of blending in your style, for me, it just means I have to spend extra time erasing marks I don’t want. This makes it hard to actually achieve ‘finished’ commercial quality work. Overall it’s a good book if all you’re looking for is a pad to practice on. The pages are well bound and the paper is good quality. It stands up to erasing and semi intensive work pretty well. For the price I’m not unhappy. Would I buy it again? Honestly, when the time comes I’m going to shop around to see if I can’t find something that tickles all of my fancies, but sans that, it’s a good fall back option.

Great Sketchbook But Should Not be Labeled "Cream"
This sketchbook is perfect for the way I like to draw... 1-3 hour pencil drawings that go through a lot of erasing! I want the paper to be nice enough to work with it but not so nice that I don't dare touch it (ahem, Stonehenge). I love that this is made in the USA and DOES NOT have any plastic on it. The color of the paper is a little light to be considered "cream." I bought this one because a previous review had said the same... that it was more of an "off white" or "natural," which is what I prefer. Also, I am pretty hard on this book. It rides around in a backpack that I treat badly and both the front and back covers are completeley in place. The little paper leaflet on the front with the stern dwarf guy has only just wiggled off, but it seems that it was made to be removed.

Very Nice Good Quality Sketch Pad
This 5.5"X8.5" Spiral Drawing Pad with 60 sheets of a nicely smooth textured 90 lb off white colored paper is quite nice and I am looking forward to filling it up with a sketching project I have in mind. Well worth the price.

Worth the extra over cheaper sketch book
The tooth makes fine graphite details a little difficult but what a difference from cheaper sketch books. The graphite blends well and takes to repeated erasing. Achieving a 8B level dark was challenging as the tooth would not hold it but overall I really liked the overall look. Included is an in-progress portrait I'm working on for an idea of how the paper holds the graphite. I would recommend for anyone looking for a paper able to hold up to moderate erasing and smooth blends.

Great quality
I bought this Drawing Paper Pad a few months ago and it performed very well for my type of work; I draw and illustrate wildlife. I use graphite and lightfast oil pencils which gave me pleasing results. Unfortunately I went to purchase another of the same but Amazon states that it is currently unavailable.
