paper is great, shipping is not
This paper is terrific and impossible to get locally. But 2 orders from Amazon have arrived with badly bent corners and another customer who ordered on my advice had even worse damage. It would be easy to fix with corrugated corners or cover, but too much work for Amazon unfortunately. They need a way to ship paper that is cheap but works.

Product Nice, but arrived damaged
I bought this pad of paper for an art class. It is very smooth, not bright white but off white. I would say it is quality paper. However, Amazon shipped it in a thin envelope (not padded) or protected in any way. It arrived with a dent in the cover and in every sheet of paper. Very disappointing that Amazon would not package it properly so it would arrive intact. For that reason, I wouldn't order again.

My new favorite paper
I knew when I would like the paper, use Strathmore paper before, but the comic paper. I like the quality of this paper brand. I just ordered the smaller size of this paper for smaller drawings.

Good sketch pad
It's much bigger than I originally thought. Great for drawing. Not too many pieces included, but good enough.

Great drawing paper
I'm really pleased with this paper. It's on the smooth side, but still has plenty of tooth for charcoal pencil, and roller ball pen glides effortlessly on it. I haven't tried any other drawing media yet, but am pleased with it so far. It also came packed in a box with cushioning, so it wasn't damaged at all, which I worried about from some of the other reviews. So, shipping may be hit or miss, but in my case at least, they did a good job.

Just to show what the color is in comparison to computer paper: On the right of the La Croix can is a regular sheet of white printer paper. The left (and under the computer paper) is this drawing paper.

Great paper for graphite pencils not perfect for charcoal
Well honestly this is pretty smooth paper and really great for doing graphite work, I am a professional artist and love to try different types of paper. I know that toothy paper holds on to charcoal better , but mentioned just if someone tries to buy the paper with similar expectation. Overall grate paper for finished graphite work and a little bit of charcoal, but definitely not for heavy charcoal art. I am leaving a picture i did on this paper(more on my Insta: anipencilsketch ) to give an idea abut the paper itself is of great quality. Thanks you Hope this helps :)
