Great for kids art

Perfect for PreK art projects. My students go through a lot of paper using all sorts of crayons, markers and paints, this works well with everything.

Good for paper mache

It could have been a little thinner. I preferred using this clean newsprint for paper mache instead of old newspapers. I didn’t get ink all over my hands. It did take extra time to get out air bubbles.

Good if you know what you're going to use it for

This review is for the product listed as "Sax Plain White Newsprint Newspaper - 6 x 9 inches - Pack of 500 Sheets - White". When I check this product again, it finally dipped down to lovable pricing ($3.02!!) but the supplier has changed. Please keep this in mind. Product is now listed as "School Smart Newsprint Drawing Paper, 30 lb, 6 x 9 Inches, 500 Sheets". Still around half a penny per sheet. Great deal, I will buy it again. At less than half a penny per sheet (I bought these for $2.32 + Free Shipping) this paper is hard to beat. Not the best if you're planning on drawing and then subsequently saving these for extended periods of time, or for using wet medium. If you are using this for art at all, this is strictly for practice. Keep in mind this is newsprint. It will probably yellow and fade, like newsprint does. But I wouldn't know for sure, I haven't waited that long to find out yet. Anyway, there's something liberating about drawing on cheap paper that will expire. I don't feel afraid to draw terribly, and I don't freeze after completing a "good" drawing. Just keep on drawing for the sake of mileage, baby! Buy two of these and draw 3 pages a day, and it will cost you $5 the entire year. Insane!

Great product!

Used this for a paper mache project. It was plenty sturdy and this stands against the wall with no other support besides two thumb tacks to hold it in position. Just this paper and white glue!

Ouvert, froissé et variation de dimensions

Ce produit est arrivé dans une enveloppe postale en plastique bien scellée mais sans support rigige ce qui n’a pas été à garder les feuilles parfaitement lisses. L’emballage plastique transparent du produit était ouvert tel que sur la photo. Certaines feuilles sont inégales et celles du dessus comportent des marques creuses tandis que celles du dessous ont été peu froissées par le transport. Je suis tout de même satisfaite du produit car heureusement je n’avais pas besoin que les feuilles soient parfaitement lisse pour l’usage que je voulais en faire.
