Great Paper / Super Price
This is great!!! I had purchased the 70lb ream and I was happy with that. I make my own sketchpads with this paper. I punch a single hole and use a binder ring to hold the papers together. I made a front and back cover for my book and this way works for me. I like this size sketchbook for drawing or taking notes. I have to have a scribble pad but I sometimes draw a picture that I want to keep so I want decent paper. The 70lb was adequate and I was happy with it but then I saw this 90lb ream and I bought it because the paper is thicker and better. I looked at it but haven't really used it yet. I can tell it is going to be great for what I need. I used to buy sketchbooks but they get pricey and this way is really economical and I get what I need. Punching a single hole in each paper is a little tedious but I kind of like doing that. Each to his own but this way works for me. I am very happy with the quality for what I use it for. I like to be able to waste paper and not worry about the price. I didn't know the 90lb variety was available, but it is great.

I never write revues...but READ this one!
I never write revues...but I am a dedicated sketcher with 5 grandchildren under 7 yrs old, who are also aspiring little artists and we through a lot of paper. Im Tired of tearing paper out of my spiral notepads then tearing off the ragged fringy parts so I took a chance on this 90lb 9 x 12, 500 sheet paper block. Sounded like too good to be true, but for once, I truly got a great deal and needed to write about it. It has a minimal amount of texter, smooth to the touch, and weight wise a pretty heavy & stiff feel. Much heavier than the flimsy 60lb that comes in many spiral pads they are trying to advertise as a heavy paper. I have heavier paper than the 90lb but not anywhere close to this price. You can't go wrong with this buy and it saves a tremendous amount of time tearing pages out of my spiral notebooks for the grandkids... and do yourself a favor and buy!

Very Good Quality paper at an excellent price; a real value for non-critical art work
This is indeed a LOT of decent quality paper for the price. I'm used to premium paper pads for drawing and was reluctant to keep using them for practice/throw-away sketches and tests. This paper suits that need perfectly. While billed as 90 lb, I have 96 lb paper at home and this is significantly lighter weight than I was expecting, but still the paper's tooth is pretty decent. I tried all my pencils on it and did a patch test to show you how it worked for me On this page are Blick Studios, Faber Castell 9000's graphite pencils, and all manner of General Pencils ("GP")l; graphite, Carbon, and charcoal pencils and even the Kimberly 9XXB graphite charcoal blend. The one odd looking pointed patch was a test of a special General's Layout Pencil which is surprisingly versatile. Overall, this is a good paper for work that is not your archival/presentation portrait work. And for the money, it's going to be hard to beat.

Good quality
Good quality papers at an affordable price. One of the paper sides is smoother than the other for the different projects. The paper is a bit off white at a warm creamy color side. Very happy to have purchased them. I heard a lot about the SAX 80 lb papers and don't know how good they are but these 90 lb papers definitely meet my expectation. When water is applied, there is some wobbliness. The wobbles do not completely go away when the paper is dried so they are not designed for the watercolor painting. I have not had a chance to test solvent.

Good paper
I bought these papers in lieu of a bound sketch book. Partly to save some money and partly because I usually end up throwing out half my (awful) drawings anyway. I cut down a piece of thin plywood to fit the paper and use small clips to hold them in place. It's been working out great! It fits in my backpack so I can carry it around like a sketchbook. I really like the feel of the paper, it's not too thin and it takes both graphite and pen and ink quite nicely. It's a little rougher than what you would get from a Strathmore or Canson pad but I like it a lot and I've been getting a lot of good use out of them.

This paper has been a perfect joy for our granddaughter
I bought this paper for my seven year old granddaughter. She loves drawing and painting and we want to support her in that. In addition to this paper we have given her a first set of prismacolor pencils. The combination has been perfect. She gets the experience of a good paper at a good price (to us). She can feel free to keep the good ones and toss the ones where she wants to start over. This paper is also heavy enough to practice her scissor skills, by creating little standup characters for stories.

Rectangle white paper for drawing
The product picture is little confusing. This is a perfect rectangle paper with exact 9 x 12 Inches. Works very well with watercolor and oil pastel. Hold very good with graphite and charcoal. I have got 90 LB thickness and happy with performance. Would buy again. This is a made in USA product.

Seems a little thin for 90 lb
Nice big package. Paper seems a little thin for 90 lb. It buckles when used with paint but it does the trick for my kinders. For the price, it was a decent buy. The price has more than doubled since I bought this product. Not sure I would buy it at the new price.

Higher Quality Paper for Sketching
Takes sketching well, nice surface. I need a more forgiving paper as I tend to make a lot of revisions and this holds up nicely. I dislike conventional bound sketchbooks, I prefer the loose paper and this is a huge stack. I hope I can find this in a larger size as well. The only downside is that about a dozen sheets were damaged at the corners in shipping.
